Sweet Friendship Card with Carta Bella

I love my friends, don't you? They are with me through good times and bad...always encouraging, inspiring and listening. Today I would love to share with you my "Sweet Friendship" Card, now this the dilemma I  am in, who do I send it to or should I just go buy a few reams of paper and make a hundred or so more. LOL
Anyway, I will think about that ... back on to my beautiful card. I love making these fabulous bows...I have had several people ask if I do them with a fork or a bow making dowel tool that they have seen on Pinterest...All I can say is "No" I use two fingers on my left hand to make them. LOL I added a few stick pins from Little Yellow Bicycle and Making Memories, they have fabulous stick pins.
I love dimension and fussy cutting as I am sure by now you all are aware of...I fussy cut my "friendship" symbol from a sheet of the paper, punched one of the little girl images and extra circle from another sheet of paper and added the "Sweet" die cut to the front of my card. I used my EK Deco Border Punch for the border and added to the bottom of my card with some fabulous gemstones, we all know how we like bling. So I hope you have enjoyed my card today and maybe you are inspired to make some friendship cards for your dear friends...Hugs Pammejo

April Showers bring May flowers along with summer fashions, summer breezes and pool time...How fun is that. I love summertime it always a time to relax and do a little vacationing. Today I wanted to share with you my Fashion Card that I made to use for the May Challenge on Graphic 45. I love Graphic 45 papers and use it all of the time.
Don't you love the vintage dresses, well on the A Ladies Diary paper they are really fashionistas that have beautiful dress on but I just wanted the dresses to hang up so I just cut their heads off, I know that sounds a bit sick but it sure turned out cool to have them hanging on the line don't you think.
Here is a closer look at the "Remember" banner that I made, I love to tip the ends up so it looks like it to is blowing in those May winds. I hope you check out the Ladies Diary over at Graphic 45 and try to do some of their random challenges on Facebook. Hugs Pammejo

Friends Layout using Couture Creations Fantansia Premium Doily Die Collection

"Friends" are the best and I want to share with you a layout I did with my dear friend Sandy. Last year we traveled to Canada and Alaska together with our spouses and had the most marvelous time discovering and enjoying all of God's creation.
I thought the Fantasia Doily Dies would be perfect to give my layout that added dimension I so love on my projects. So I used both the Blossom and the Irish Dreams Doily Dies from Couture Creations. I cut one of each using my die cutting machine using a piece of the polka a dot pattern paper.

I used the Irish Dreams Doily Die as my title background piece.  Once I had my Irish Dreams die cut out I used my Handheld Essential to remove the small intricate pieces of the doily. I placed it on my pattern paper prior to adding my fussy cut flowers that I cut out with Couture Creations Precision Scissors.
I cut my Blossom Doily in half, using part of it to one side of my photo that I had placed on my page with Foam Tape.
The other half I used to place behind the owl I fussy cut out using my Precision Scissors. I added a bit of Glitz Glamour Red to the crown of the owl and also to all of the flower centers of my flowers that I had cut out and placed a few using the Foam Tape.
I hope you run right over, check out the Fantasia Collection, there are so many beautiful doily dies in the collection and make sure to go Couture Creations Blog, scroll through and be ready to be inspired. Also, think about becoming a follower of the blog. Hugs Pammejo

Wild Life Altered Crackle Frame with Sin City Stamps

Today I am using SinCity Stamps Wild Life Stamp Set to create my Crackle Art Frame. I started with one of those dollar unpainted frames you can find at your local craft store. I first painted it cream, allowing it to dry completely and then added a thick coat of crackle paint to the frame, again allowing it to dry completely. HINT: It is important that the crackle dries completely and that your stokes of your paintbrush always goes in the same direction. Once the crackle has dried, than paint the top with black paint and again allowing it to dry completely. SET A SIDE

I placed a piece of cream card stock  in the inside of my frame. I  layered my whole inked and distress image on to a distress piece of black card stock, placing it in the center of frame.  Using pop dots I layered my fussy cut animals on top of my whole image once I had it in the frame.I stamped my "Wild Life" image onto white card stock twice with black memento ink. I colored both images using my Copic Markers, leaving one image whole and fussy cutting the animals out on the second image with a pair of precision scissors
I stamped a tag using the  "Courage...the difference between success and failure" to a piece of cream card stock, wrinkled it up, distressed it with a distress tool and brown ink. I tied it to a large key that I found using a piece of blue ribbon, added a "Believe" light bulb that I backed with blue card stock and added it to the top of my frame.

I hope you stop by SinCity Stamps Store and check out all the fabulous stamp sets and other wonderful products that are available. Hugs Pammejo

Days Like These Makes Me Smile Tag

I went to a crop this weekend with some of the Displaced Scrapbookers in our area. I had a fabulous and fun time with ladies I haven't seen in awhile. One of the things we were challenged to do was make a tag from 3 sheets of paper that Ann (our hostess) gave us. I received 2 sheets of Jillibean Pasta Fagioli and a piece of Cosmo Cricket Bloomin' Babies to create my tag with. I made most of it at the crop but finished it today since I had my embellishments that I wanted to use at home.
I stamped the sentiment using Technique Tuesdays Favorite Memories, I love the sentiments that are this set and use them all of the time. My beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap.
I made a turquoise tulle flower from a piece of tulle that I received on a package and I used the leftovers at the top of my tag as its tie. I added a clip from Basic Grey Serendipity Shine On and a added a small camera chippie to the film strip. I hope you save your ribbons from package and recycle them and if you have never tried your hand at making a tag, now is the time. I hope you enjoyed my tag.  Hugs Pammejo

You are On My Mind with Heartfelt Creations

Oh my, I love the Heartfelt Creations stamps and the Delicate Aster Vase is fabulous. I just love all the intricate details of the stamp but it did take a bit to color it in. I used my Tombow Markers and took my time to get the depth that I wanted for the project.
I love the color that I achieved using my Tombow Markers, don't you...once I had it colored, I fussy cut out the extra set that I stamped and colored, placing two of the larger flowers on pop dots. I added a bit of Sage Flower Soft to the centers of the larger flowers.
"You Are on My Mind" is a sentiment from Inspired by Stamping Trendy Circle Sentiment Stamp Set. I hope you take the time to check out both Heartfelt Creations and Inspired by Stamping and see all of the fabulous products they offer. Hugs Pammejo

Prima's May BAP Challenge - My Inspirations Layout

I haven't participated in a challenge with Prima but when I say the fabulous layout I decided it would be a wonderful way to use a photo of my grand-daughter Annie with the Leeza Gibbons Wishes & Dreams Collection. I just picked the collection up at the CKC Convention-St Louis, amongst a lot of other fabulous Prima products.

Marie-Nicolas created a gorgeous diagonal sketch which includes color blocking, paint splashes, stamping, and climbing florals! You can choose to incorporate all of these delightful accents... or not.  I didn't use any stamping, splashes or climbing florals but I did decided to do a lot of fussy cutting of flowers to add some great dimension to my project.
Here is a closer look at the fussy cut flowers, stickers, dimensional flowers, as well as some Prima Wooden Embellishments. I added a bit of swirl gemstones and made some epoxy dots to go along with my layout
This is the bottom left had corner of the My Inspiration Layout, I painted my fussy cut flowers with Glimmer Laze and added some Diamond Stickles to the center. I love the Leeza fabulous dimensional flowers, they have glitter on them as well as the leaves.
My tag is from the collection and I added a few of the Word Stickers to the top. I like using my tiny attacher, I always feel like it gives a bit more detail. See the wiry ribbons, they are made for the stems I cut from the flowers, rolled them around my paper piercer and glued into place.  I hope you try your had at some of the fabulous challenges that Prima has each month. Paper Secrets Card Sketch Challenge using Inspired by Stamping

Paper Secrets is the 1st of Sketch Challenge!!!! What's the challenge? Create a card using the sketch. That's it. Easy! The fun part is one participant will be chosen to be featured as one of our upcoming Guest Card Designers. You have til May 20th to link your card up on Paper Secrets Blog.

Here is my take on the sketch...I used Spring Blossoms and Big Notes III from Inspired by Stamping to create my "Congratulations You're Amazing!" Card. I love the pretty Summer Paper from My Minds Eye Paper Pad.
Here is the fun sketch that is being used on Paper Secrets Blog...I love it and will definitely be using it again.
Here is a closer look at the Inspired by Stamping Spring Blossoms...you get two flower vases and several flower images as well as stems and flowers on the stamp set. I stamped my images six times. t I applied three to the card front with pop dots after the vase had been placed to the front with the pop dots. I then fussy cut the other three, rolled them with my stylus and mat, glued just the center to the bottom of the flower so the petals would stand up. I added Glimmer Glaze to all of the petals and added a epoxy center to the three flowers.
I love the sentiments that are on the Big Notes III sentiment set from Inspired by Stamping. I hope you check out the Inspired by Stamping Store and make sure to try out the sketch from Paper Secrets...I am excited to have found they are doing sketch challenges and I know I will be a regular participate. Mojo Monday 293 Sketch Challenge

I decided when I saw the Mojo Monday 293 Card Sketch Challenge that Julee Tilman created I knew I had to do it especially when I received my fabulous Whimsical Stamp Set from Inspired by Stamping today.
Here is the fabulous sketch and you still have plenty of time to play along just make sure to go to Mojo Mondays Blog to get the details on how to link your project up. It is really is easy and so fun to do.
I love to fussy cut so I used my precision scissors and cut around the oval bird that was on a sheet of the My Minds Eye Handsome paper, placing in on the front of my card base prior to placing my Thank You Sticker from SRM Stickers. I love to mix stamping with stickers, love the effect it gives.
Here is the fabulous Whimsical Banners that I received from Inspired by Stamping, all I can say is that they are awesome. The best part is you get 10 different banners and two different string stamps on the set, how fabulous is that. I used Memento Danube Blue Ink to stamp my images and look how perfectly it matched my papers. Don't you love how they look like they are blowing in the breeze, all you have to do is glue just the top down and use a petal roller to tip the points up. Well, I hope you enjoyed my take on Julee sketch, check out Mojo Mondays blog and make sure to check out other stamp sets over at Inspired by Stamping. Hugs Pammjeo

Spring Cards with Couture Creations

Have you seen all of the fabulous nesting dies from Couture Creations!!!! Oh my if you haven't they are a must for all of your scrapbooking needs to create your projects with.  So today I am going to show you how to make these two fabulous cards using them and that includes making the beautiful flower.
My "Miss You" Card is made with both the Nesting Circle and Nesting Scallop Circle Die Cuts.
I ran several at one time by cutting my paper to fit and running them in my die cut machine.
I cut a couple extra ones out to make my flowers with.
Taking my Precision Scissors and tow of the circle die cut, I cut them to form a spiral.
Taking the Precision Tweezers, I started on the outside of the cut spiral circle and wrapped around the tweezers carefully not to pinch the sides as I was going around. Once wrapped, remove from tweezers and glue the middle of the flower to the bottom of the spiral.
After you have your pattern paper placed on to your card front add your layered sentiment circles to the front of the card with Couture Creations Foam Tape and place your flowers to the top of the card. Add your bow, flags, fussy cut leaf and some pretty Couture Creations Bling to the front of the card.
My "Love You" Card is using the Nesting Vintage Rectangle Die and the Nesting Scallop Rectangle Die to create my card with.
Again I layered several of the nesting dies and paper on my die cut platform together and cut them out
Once I had layered my Nesting Vintage Rectangle  I took my ruler along with the Handheld Essentials Kit and cut my Rectangle layers apart.
I place the two pieces about and 1 1/4" apart and placed them to the front of my card base that I had placed my pattern papers on.
I layered my Scallop Rectangles to the front of my card, added my sentiment sticker along with another of the beautiful flowers I made from the Nesting Circle Die. I hope  you play with some of your Nesting Dies and if you need some check them out at Couture Creations, they have a fabulous selections of dies, embossing folders, tools, etc. Hugs Pammejo
