Happy New Years with Couture Creations

Welcome 2014...it is Pam today on the Couture Creations Blog sharing with you how to make a Cracker Candy Container....I know I will be making these for my New Years Eve party because they are fun and easy to make....and who doesn't like easy...
I started by cutting two different pieces using my Silhouette...one in a pretty pattern paper the other with brown distress card stock....
I took the brown distress paper and trimmed the edge off using my Couture Creations Precision Trimmer....
so that I have two pieces.....
I took the straight pieces and the "A Songbirds Poinsettia" Embossing folder...
once I had the pieces embossed I sanded them using my Couture Creations Sanding Block....
Take Double Sided Tape...tape the brown embossed distress card stock on three sides and the pretty pattern paper on the outside edge....layer the brown embossed distress card stock on top of the pattern paper.
Tie together with pretty ribbon, add some of Couture Creations Gemstones, filled with candy or other items and add a few decorations to make a pretty Cracker Candy Container....
I hope you have a blessed 2014 and make a few of the Cracker Candy Containers sometime through the year. Hugs Pammejo

Making a Bow with Couture Creations

Have you ever wished you had a bow to place on your package...well never fear because today I am going to share with you how easy it is...so get out your favorite Couture Creations Embossing
Folders, some nice card stock and a brad.....
To begin cut the following card stock strips using your Couture Creation Precision Trimmer, I used a color core card stock to make my bow with.....
Once you have all your strips cut...punch a hole in both ends using a hole punch or your Handheld Essential paper piercer....
run the strips through your embossing machine using the Couture Creations Moonlit Berries or other Couture Creations folder....
lightly sand them off with the Couture Creations Sanding Block....
I always line them up so I keep them going ton the brad in the right order...
I start with the smallest, wrap it so the holes match up and place the brad through the holes...making sure the top is on the inside of the loop....I also stick a pencil or something in the loop once the brad is in place to keep it push out the back to place the strips on and to be able to work the loop on easier....
wrap each strip around your thumb...
and place them on the brad...once you have them all on the brad open the brad up to secure the strips
make sure to carefully twist the loops on the brad to straighten them up and just like that you have a beautiful bow....have fun making them. Hugs Pammejo

My Christmas Dress

Every little girl usually has a pretty Christmas Dress that they can prance around in. I wanted to share my layout that I made using Doodlebug Designs North Pole papers, stickers, die cuts, buttons and twine. I love the use of circles and thought they gave a fun use to go along with the snowflake papers.
I added a bit of My Minds Eye Christmas Washi tape to make some ribbon banners. I also added a bit of gemstones and a couple of the Doodlebug Designs Festive Cardinals to my layout.
The twines on the tag and  the banner that I punched using the EK Success Scallop Punch continues to give dimension. I hope you try your had with circles. Hugs Pammejo

December Daily with WRMK North Pole Collection

CAN YOU BELIEVE I just heard of "December Daily". I thought WOW that sounds like an amazing idea and so of course I had to take a creative try at making one. So here is my take on my "December Daily" or at least my cover.
I am so excited to share the new We R Memory Keepers "North Pole" Collection with you....as part of the design team I thought it was the perfect choice. I love the beautiful papers that use all the wonderful Christmas colors in it, and it is nice to use the Easy Page Journal pieces to work into my projects as well as the sticker dies cuts and letters.
Here is a closer look at one of the stickers, journal piece and one of the fun Kraft envelopes that I have wrapped with a bit of red twine and place to the cover with pop dots. I also used the We R Memory Keepers Garland Mini 8 Punch to do my doilies with that I placed on my page.
I love my pointsetta that I made from the green dotted paper using my McGill Paper Blossom Poinsettia Punch. They are super easy to use and make beautiful flowers. I hope you have liked my take on the "December Daily" and will be posting pages as I get them done. Hugs Pammejo

Pure Bliss Altered Gear Book with SinCity Stamps

I am  on the SinCity Stamps Blog today....I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday, I know our family had a great day though most of our kids and there family live states away we celebrated with friends. Today I want to share with you the first of the altered albums that SinCity Stamps have released with many more coming in the future....I just love the Gear Chipboard Album and used photos from last years Thanksgiving weekend to share it with you and hope you will think about using some of your photos from this year to make yourself one.
Here is the the Gear Chipboard Album...you will receive the cover, 3 inside pages and extra gears, it comes in 3 different sizes....I used the 4x4 for my Pure Blis Album.
Here is the back of the front cover, I covered my album in WeR Memory Keepers Harvest Collection and that included the gears...lol...so  make sure to have a new blade in your xacto knife to get the intricate details from the gears cut out. If you decide against covering them with paper remember you can always paint, stain, ink, mist, or use another medium to do your pages and gear in.
Here are the next two pages,,,,
and the last two pages.
Here is a closer look at the gears, don't you just love, love how they turned out...I added a bit of ink to the edges of all of my pieces to give it the distress look that I wanted.
I hope you head right over to the store and check out the rest of the laser die cuts...there are books, die cuts, mask and make sure to look over the stamps sets here on the SinCity Stamps Store. Hugs Pammejo
