Father's Day Keepsake Box with Xyron

Hi and welcome to the end of May, lol...with that being said it is time to start thinking of making some fun and fabulous Father's Day gifts. I am sharing with you my Father's Day Keepsake Box that I will be giving to my honey this year.
I began by getting an old cigar box that I have hoarded forever and began by painting it with Black Chalkboard Paint from DecoArt.
Oh how I love this "NEW" Xyron Creative Station and let me tell you why...I cut all of my Graphic 45 pieces out for the inside of my Cigar Box. (Repeated it for the outside.)  NOW....
Look how amazing this is...see how large a piece of paper that the "NEW" Xyron Creative Station can add adhesive to. AMAZING!!!
Do you see that it is a continuous feed of adhesive or you can just do each piece at a time and use the trimmer on the back of the Creative Station to separate each piece.
I used my Create a Sticker MAX to run all my strips through BUT I could have used the Xyron Creative Station to do this also by just changing the adhesive runner in the machine.
Add your prepared pieces to the lid ....
AND to the inside of the box.
Add all fun journal pieces along with a dimensional dragonfly to the top of the box.
A bit of metal and more journal and die cut pieces.

Don't forget to add a knob to the top of box and some fun metal legs. I hope you are inspire to make a fun and easy Father's Day Keepsake Box for someone special in you life...you dad, father-in-law or your honey. Hugs Pammejo

Father's Day Banner with Linnie Blooms and Stampendous

Well I am super excited to share my "first" project as part of the Stampendous Design Team. I was so excited to get the Linnie Blooms File Folders to work with because I love mixed media and Stampendous has the perfect mixed media products to work with.
I began by first spraying the Linnie Blooms File Folders with four different Dylusion Sprays, dabbing them with a paper towel in between mists. Allow to dry completely.
Taking large chipboard letters cover them with the Dreamweaver Matte Black Embossing Paste. (Follow the directions on bottle and allow the paste to set up)
Place the template that comes with Stampendous Wired Grillager (NKCRS02) on top of the letters and apply the Dreamweaver Crackle Embossing Paste (DWCEP) to the top. Sprinkle Fran'tage Ochre Fragments (FRC06) and Copper Tinsel Embossing Powder (TP104) to the top of each letter and heat set with embossing gun.
Now that the Linnie Blooms File Folders are dry...stamp randomly with Stampendous Wired Grillager Stamps (NKCRS02) using VersaFine Black Ink (STF082).
Decorate each of the banners with random tags,
metals, adornments,
and twine. Oh!!! and don't forget to place the letters on top of each banner piece!!!
Once decorated string together with thick black jute and small clothespins. I hope you enjoyed my quick and each Father's Day Banner and take a minute to stop in at Linnie Blooms to check the store out, say hello, and be inspired by looking at their blog. Thanks for stopping by and hope you will also check out the Stampendous Blog and Store. Hugs Pammejo

Die-Namites and Craftwell Blog Hop - Congratulations Card

Welcome, it is Pam today sharing with you my "Congratulations" Card that I made for a sweet friend daughter for graduation. Can you believe it is graduation? Time sure does fly bye, doesn't it!!!
I began my card by first covering a card base with black card stock....
I ran two pieces of pink Core'dinations paper through my Craftwell Cut N' Boss using the Alpha Embossing Folder.
Place the larger Alpha Embossed piece to the top of black card stock and sanded lightly. Add smaller Alpha Embossed piece to black card stock, set to one side.
Die cut one Party Banner (DN-1277) from black card stock....
then cut several times using the pattern paper from the Bella Rouge Collection. Add to the top of the Party Banner (DN-1277) using your Xyron X Sticker Maker.
Stamp sentiment and add your border to the bottom of the card.
Cut one of the Heart Leaves Swirl (DN-1194) from the Bella Rouge Paper Collection. Add to top of border along with a pretty flower.
To finish your "Congratulations" Card add the banner to the top along with a few pink gemstones.

Wedding Shower Silverware Holders with Craftwell

Hi it's Pam today on the Craftwell Blog sharing with you a fun Silverware Holder idea using my Cut N' Boss, Craftwell Embossing Folders and Dies along with a die from Die-Namite.  Die-Namite is sponsoring the Craftwell Cut N' Boss Design Team this month on the Craftwell Blog.
I began by cutting two of the Folded Tag Dies out using my Cut N' Boss.  (You can get two Folded Tag pocket dies out of one sheet of paper).
Once the Folded Tags are cut out, run back through the Cut N' Boss with the Motif Embossing Folder.
Fold sides in and adhere on the side and bottom to form the pockets with your Xyron Mega Adhesive Runner.
Cut a strip of burlap and place around. (I used the Xyron Creative Sticker MAX because I wanted to have adhesive on the whole piece of burlap.)
Cut two of the Tim Holtz Tags out so you will have one for each of the Folded Tag.
Run both through the Cut N' Boss using the Alpha Embossing Folder.
Die cut six of the blue polka dot papers out to make two roses. (I cut two of the green polka dot ones out but did not use them)
Cut one petal out of one of the flower shapes, two petals out of another and leave the third whole.
Using a stylus, tweezers, and a soft mat...Roll and form flowers. So roll the one and two petal pieces you cut out using your tweezers, insert the one petal into the two petal you roll and glue at base.
Like this...I used Glossy Accent to glue them together.
Now roll the three and four petal pieces and repeat. Gluing the two petal into the three petal and the three petal into the four petal....For the last flower piece, cut toward the center, using stylus and tweezers bend and pinch to form flower and glue the prepared rose piece to the middle of full flower pieces.
This is what it should look like when it is all pinched and glued together.
Tie a pretty ribbon around the burlap. Adhere the Folded Tag to the top of the Alpha Kraft Tag. Add  prepared rose when glue is dry to front of Folded Tag with Glossy Accent. Allow it to dry completely.
Tie a some Aqua Twine around the burlap and tie a gold bow to hold the ring.
Cut two sets of the Pompom (DN-1086), one in gray one in pink from the Lawn Fawn Paper Pad. Cut the pink Pompom Buds off place on top of the gray Pompom.
Here is a closer look at the Pompom Die along with how I tied the ring on with twine.
I hope you enjoyed my tutorial on how to make the beautiful roses and try making a few along with making some of the fun Silverware Holders for your next special event. Hugs Pammejo
