13 Days of Halloween Day Thirteen - Oct 19-31

Happy Halloween!!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog today, not sure if you have stopped by to see what I was up to or if you are doing the blog hop. If you are doing the hop then you are heading in the right direction if you came from our host Lisa's Scrapping with Lisa. I am so glad that you visited today it is our last day of the hop and I am sure if you participated in the 13 days of hopping you have probably seena lot of inspiration. I just want to remind you to beware of all of the little ghosts and goblins that are out tonight, so be careful driving this evening and check all that Halloween candy carefully before eating. I made my card from the Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows Collections. This card is made with a piece of the Chandelier Crow paper, orange cardstock for the card base and the sticker sheet that goes along with the paper.
You can see from this view how I took the banners and tied them together with black twine and placed them and the Oct 31st up on pop dots. I made a frame from the sticker border by cutting it in half and making mitered corners on the edge so that it would look finished. I also added a black gemstone where the pennants meet up along with adding a bow to the ends of the banner. I hope you enjoy and have a fabulous time Trick or Treating or just answering the door to all the little ghost and goblins that come to visit. I hope you continue with the hop by hopping by Janet's Create Believe Imagine at Dream Scrapbooks and see what she has created for you. I am sure you will fine some wonderful inspiration, tutorials and some giveaways along the way and I look forward to you stopping by tomorrow. Please feel free to leave a comment and if you would like to start following my blog that would be wonderful and again thank you for participating in 13 Days of Halloween. Hugs

13 Days of Halloween - Day Eleven and Twelve

Welcome to Day Eleven and Twelve of the 13 Days of Halloween. I am combining the days because of my schedule but will have a real treat for day 13 so if you came from the talented Lisa of Scrappin with Lisa you are heading in the right direction for the hop. I made a 5x7 card today using the Haunted Hallows Chandelier Crows paper and distressed it with Tim Holtz Wild Honey, Dusty Concord, and Barn Door Distress Ink. I think it turned out pretty cool distressing the paper. I also fussy cut the border from the paper and added it to my card.
My spider webs are a stamp from Heidi Graces Halloween Clear Stamp. I inked my stamp with Versafine Onyx Black ink stamped it once and then again, this will give you a shadow effect. My skull is from the Haunted Hallows sticker sheet, I placed it on with pop dots and made sure that it was nice and level. I then made a dome using Glossy Accent, make sure you set your card to one side until the Glossy Accent is dry
I added my purple ric rack using glue dots and my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. My ribbon was to bright so I just distressed it with Dusty Concord Distress Ink to tone the color down. I hope you enjoyed my Crow Card and stop back again to see what else I have been up to. I hope you enjoyed my card and continue the hop by going to Create, Believe, Imagine at Dreamscrapbooks.

13 Days of Halloween Day Nineand Ten - Oct 19-31

Welcome to days nine and ten of the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop hosted by Lisa, so if you came from Scrapping with Lisa you are heading in the right direction. I am so glad you came by to see me today because I have a real sweet treat for you. I made a non-traditional Halloween card using the new Simple Stories Generations 6 x 6 paper pak.
I used the tags and papers and cut them up to do my embellishing. I added a little Glossy Accent on the number 3 and 1 so they would pop off the page a bit and added some staples from my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. My Happy Halloween sentiment is a Memory Box Stamp and the Brown Tatted Ribbon is from Hobby Lobby.
Check out the sweet candy apples, they are stamped using the A Muse Art Candy Apple Stamp. I stamped on two different pieces of paper and layered them, added some cut toothpicks and Glossy Accents to the lighter color so it would look like caramel. I hope you enjoy this sweet treat and hop on to the next blog which will be equally as sweet with the talented Janet of Create, Believe, Imagine at Dreamscrapbooks.

Welcome to day nine of the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. If you came from the talented Lisa's our hostess you are heading in the right direction, if you stopped by to see what I was up to I would encourage you to head over to Scrapping With Lisa Blog and join us in the hop. I am sure there will be lots of inspiration, tutorials and giveaways. I just love fun Halloween Cards and these little monsters from the Bella Blvd Too Cute To Spook are just so fun. I used the Quadrants, Cute Cards and Full Moon paper from the collection for my card along with a sticker from SRM Stickers Halloween sheet. I fussy cut my little monsters out, I just love to fussy cut, I find it very relaxing. I know that sounds crazy but it is relaxing. I added a small tan twine bow to the top of my pumpkin and placed a circle dot and a very large glitter gemstone on top of it and placed it on a pop dot and don't forget to add your sentiment.
I decided while I was at it I would make a tag to go with a bag that I am still in the process of making and will be showing it later in the month of Oct but for now here is my tag. I used the Jacks A Glow, Cute Cats and Full Moon paper from the Bella Blvd Too Cute to Spook collection along with stickers that I had from Daisy D's. I tore the paper and then distress the pieces with some Chestnut Roan ink, placed it and one of my pumpkins to the tag front. I added the other to the front of the tag using pop dots. Of course know tag is complete without some ribbon and I used several different colors and textures on my tag along with some black gemstones on my stickers. Hope you have been inspired and continue the hop by going over to Create Believe Imagine at Dream Scrapbooks with Janet. See you tomorrow for day 10 of the hop.

Here is a side view that I added a piece of the border to the inside of the card. I cut triangles out of a piece of the paper and placed it at the top of my card and added some black bling in between the flags. I also added a SRM Halloween Sticker and placed it on pop dots. Welcome to day four of the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop but if you are looking for Nicolette's Halloween /Fall Blog Hop - Oct 22-23 than continue to scroll down to the next post and that is where you will find it. Today I decide to make a candy pail for the hop, so if you just came to see what I was doing today I am so glad you did but if you came from Lisa's Scrapping with Lisa Blog then you are head in the right direction for the hop. There will be lots of wonderful inspiration, tutorials and giveaways along the way. Now on to my project, I started with a Stampedous Short Pail and some of the My Mind's Eye Blackbird Collection to make my pail. I cut a strip and added the Costume paper to the top of it after I fussy cut it out.

I took one of the die cuts from the Accessory Sheet and some of the Costume kids that I cut from the paper and glued them to the die cut once I had torn it and inked it with Chestnut Roan ink.

On my handle I made a tag, added a sticker from SRM Halloween Stickers, and a die cut from the accessory sheet along with one of the little blackbirds I fussy cut out. Notice my handle I wrapped it with black polka dot ribbon, tied it off in a knot and added a green tulle bow to the side of it. I hope you continue on the hop by going to the very talented Janet's Create Believe Imagine at Dreams Scrapbooks and see how she will inspire you today. Love, love these canvas borders that you can get with Booville Collection. I just cut a few to use on my layout and added some staples, they are stickers if you would like to know that .

13 Days of Halloween Day Three - Oct 19-31

Thanks for stopping by my blog today, not sure if you have stopped by to see what I was up to or if you are doing the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop, hard to believe it is day 3 already. If you are doing the hop then you are heading in the right direction if you came from Lisa's Scrapping with Lisa.
Today I made a great Halloween Gift Bag for my special Trick or Treaters. I used Bella Blvd Too Cute to Spook Cute Cuts, Quadrants, and Jack A Glow papers along with the Creative Imagination Gift Bag. I inked all of my pieces with Memento Tuxedo Ink and layered them on my bag. I did add a few staples from my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I also fussy cut out my "One Eyed Girl" and bat and placed them on my bag. I placed Glossy Accent on my spiders to give them some extra dimension.
After I got my gift bag designed I added a beautiful ribbon at the top and my bat acts as the closure because I placed pop dots on it and the pop dots on the left wing holds the flap down. I thought it was a clever way to keep the bag closed. I am so glad you took the time to hop with us for day three and would love if you come by again tomorrow but for now please head on over to the talented Janet's Create Believe Imagine at Dreams Scrapbooks.

13 Days of Halloween Day One - Oct 19-31

Welcome to day one of the 13 Days of Hallowen Blog Hop. If you came by my blog today to see what I am up to I would like for you to join us in the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. If you came from the talented Lisa (our hostess) of Handmade with Love -Lisa you are heading in the right direction. We were asked to create Halloween projects but I really, really like these dollar frames at Michael's and I really really, really, like them when I can get them for 66 cents. I painted this one with Charcoal paint. The paper is from Memory Box Nightfall paper pack. I cut 1" strips, corner rounded them, glued them to the front of my frame and Mod Podge over the top of them once they were dried. I then did my inside by covering the insert with a piece of the paper from the pack, I inked my Memory Box Birch Branch Print stamp with Versafine Onyx Black ink, stamped once and then again to give it a shadow look. I stamped my Maple leaf on three different papers and cut them out by hand. I now have the die that that I can use to cut the leaf out with. I placed my insert into my frame, added two leaves to the front of the insert and the third I layered on with a pop dot.
To decorate the front of my frame on the left corner using a Tim Holtz frame and a piece of the paper from the pack with the little bird in it. I then added my brads and glued it to the frame. On the other top right side I made a pleated strip of paper and added a Tim Holtz nib to the front of it
Here is a closer look at the leaves and the stamping which are in the center of my frame. I also added a small tan twine bow to the center leaf. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you were inspired to create something with leaves. Though my project isn't truly Halloween it is still in the Halloween colors :) and I hop you continue with the hop by hopping by going to visit Janet at Create Believe Imagine At Dream Scrapbooks and see what she has created for you. I am sure you will fine some wonderful inspiration, tutorials and some giveaways along the way and I look forward to you stopping by tomorrow. Please feel free to leave a comment and if you would like to start following my blog that would be wonderful. Hugs

KinderStampO October Blog Hop Bloggers October 15-16

BOO!!!! Today is the weekend of the KinderStampO October Blog Hop so if you cam by today to see what I am up to I would like you to join us in a hop. Make sure if you decide to follow my blog and decide to follow it to go back to the KinderStampO and start hopping, if you came hoppin' by from the very talented Jessicas' fo That'z Uneek then you are heading in the right direction. For my BOOSTACULAR TREAT I created a Painters Tray to decorate one my walls with. I purchased it at our local Hobby Lobby store and used my 40% off so I paid a little over 6 dollars for it. My paper is all from Fancy Pants Oct 31st Collection. I love just staying with paper and embellishments from the same collections because they go together so well.
I used one of the Acrylic Ghost, some of the Oct 31st filigree rub ons from the collection to decorate my ghost with along with a small pumpkin basket stamp that I had along with Black Stazon ink. Stazon ink will stamp on acrylic beautifully and if you happen to smear it guess what .... you can clean it off with either you Stazon cleaner or UnDu and re-stamp it. Isn't that fabulous to know.
My first square is using not only a piece of Spooks paper but also some of the tags from the Cut Outs sheet. I also place a heavy twine ribbon and tied a bow and a metal Tim Holtz embellishments.
My second square has a piece of Bewitched paper added a piece of Little Yellow Bicycle Canvas Sticker at the bottom. I added a pen nib and a Design Embellishment on pop dots from the Oct 31st collection.
I added a Tim Holtz metal frame and a Making Memories bottle that I filled with Glossy Accent and red alcohol ink to make my poison.
I added a fabulous spider that I bought at our local Michaels store to give my square more depth. Isn't it the coolest spider!!!!!
Now this is the most fabulous part. A year or so ago I seen this on someones blog (I wish I could give them credit but can't remember who it was) and then a friend told me that she was going to do this to a tray she was working on and I remember I had heard this before so after my memory being jolted again when I started working on this tray I decided to do it.....you maybe wondering what is it. Well if you look close it is a "MAGNET" I glued a magnet to my tray and also to the back of each of my base papers so I will be able to change the papers out and save me a few dollars by re-purposing the tray. Isn't that a fabulous idea!!!!
for my third spot I used Bewitched paper and added big metal numbers from Making Memories, a calendar from Maya Road and die cuts from the embellishment package. I added a Making Memories clip to the tag and some bow to the top of the pumpkins I fussy cut.
Now on to my fourth space, the paper is a piece of Eerie paper.
My frames are from Making Memories and Tim Holtz. I used two of the rub ons and placed it on white paper and then glued the square frames over them. My oval picture is actually on the paper so be careful when you cut your piece of paper if you want a skull head. Once I had them glued on to the paper and my key was glued on I filled the centers with Glossy Accent and allowed them to dry so it would look like they were under glass.
My bat that is on my tray is acrylic from the collection that I distressed with White Stazon Ink and added rub ons from the Oct 31st collection along with a fabulous metal bug.
For my fifth and sixth squares it is a piece of the Eerie paper, a cut out from the cut out sheet. On the fifth square I added one of these ghostly looking Tim Holtz dolls to the square.
On the sixth square I added a "W" metal, a rub on and wooden dowel that has been wrapped with sheer purple ribbon.
This is one of my very favorite things is fussy cutting. I cut all of the hats from the Bewitched paper, placed them on pop dots, added some bows here and there and wrapped black twine around the points after the were in place to make them look like they were hanging from a string. How cute is that.
I hope you enjoyed my Halloween Tray and that you might even feel inspired to make one for yourself, remember to add those magnets so you can re-purpose the tray. I would love to hear of any other fabulous ideas you have for re-purposing projects. So now it is time to go on the next very talented designer and without any further wait hop on over to Linda's MyQuilling Nest. I hope you enjoy all of the inspiration, tutorials and maybe even fine some giveaways along the way.

KinderStampO Sketchy Wednesday Oct 12

Today is KinderStampO Sketchy Wednesday!!!! This is the first time that I have done the sketch challenge that is happening. There is a lot of inspiration that is happening over on KinderStampO blog. Make sure to go and see how to participate in the challenge. I made my card using Memory Box products. My paper is from the Nightfall Collection and my background stamp is called Harvest Moon.
I used the Memory Box Cat and Moon stamp and stamped it on a piece of the orange paper and fussy cut it out and placed it on a pop dot so it would look like it was standing on the tree limb.
My Halloween sentiment is actually on a piece of the paper. I inked all of my paper, did my corners using the EK Success Plaid Border Punch for my border that was on the sketch. I also added some staples and inked all of the pieces with Chestnut Roan ink. Now make sure to run over to KinderStampo and join in the challenge.

Spookville Cards 1 and 2 with We R Memory Keepers

I bought a 6 x 6 Spookville paper pad and some layered Chipboard stickers that went with the paper pad to make some cards. Here are the first two and I will post two more tomorrow so make sure to come back to see them. I distressed my first orange card base and the paper heavily with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I wrapped my paper with Black twine from The Twinery, a button and glued it to the card. I then added my chipboard sticker and some black bling to my card front.
My second card is made from a couple of different sheets of the paper from the Spookville Paper pad. I also used an EK Notebook Punch for my border. I attached the border and tag to the card front with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and added another chipboard sticker to the front of my card. I inked all of my pieces with Chestnut Roan Ink and added some orange bling to the top corners of the page. *** Remember to come back tomorrow to see cards 3 and 4.

"Celebrate Friend" Card

I made a card to send to a dear friend that is recovering from breast cancer!!! I am so happy she has been cancer free for just over 10 years and believe it is a time to celebrate. I made my card using the Me & My Big Ideas Mambi Kit along with some white Small Organza Ribbon that I distress using my Tim Holtz Lipstick Distress Stains on. I placed my "Celebrate" chipboard piece on pop dots and added the "Friend" sticker just under it along with some of the pink gemstones in the kit. I know cancer awareness paper is hard to find but I found my kit at the local Michael's if you are at all interested at where I purchased it the kit at. I am so thankful for friends and family that support my blog and come by but I would love to encourage at this time to take care of yourselves, get regular check ups and mammograms. Hugs Pam

Spooky Card with Memory Box Stamps

I absolutely love Memory Box Stamps it is one of my very favorite stamp companies. The collage stamps are my most favorite ones because they just speak for themselves. I made my card using Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows Damask and Chandelier Crows paper along with the Memory Box Spooky Stamp. I stamped my image using Versafine Onyx Black ink and distressed the edges with Chestnut Roan Ink. I double matted my stamped piece on both black and orange card stock, wrapped black twine around the piece and placed it on pop dots on to my card front that I had already prepared.

Here is a better picture of the dimension of the matted piece. I also added 3 small gemstones to the top right corner.
