13 Days of Halloween Day Thirteen - Oct 19-31

Happy Halloween!!!! Thanks for stopping by my blog today, not sure if you have stopped by to see what I was up to or if you are doing the blog hop. If you are doing the hop then you are heading in the right direction if you came from our host Lisa's Scrapping with Lisa. I am so glad that you visited today it is our last day of the hop and I am sure if you participated in the 13 days of hopping you have probably seena lot of inspiration. I just want to remind you to beware of all of the little ghosts and goblins that are out tonight, so be careful driving this evening and check all that Halloween candy carefully before eating. I made my card from the Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows Collections. This card is made with a piece of the Chandelier Crow paper, orange cardstock for the card base and the sticker sheet that goes along with the paper.
You can see from this view how I took the banners and tied them together with black twine and placed them and the Oct 31st up on pop dots. I made a frame from the sticker border by cutting it in half and making mitered corners on the edge so that it would look finished. I also added a black gemstone where the pennants meet up along with adding a bow to the ends of the banner. I hope you enjoy and have a fabulous time Trick or Treating or just answering the door to all the little ghost and goblins that come to visit. I hope you continue with the hop by hopping by Janet's Create Believe Imagine at Dream Scrapbooks and see what she has created for you. I am sure you will fine some wonderful inspiration, tutorials and some giveaways along the way and I look forward to you stopping by tomorrow. Please feel free to leave a comment and if you would like to start following my blog that would be wonderful and again thank you for participating in 13 Days of Halloween. Hugs

Witches Brew Card with Teresa Collins

I just love the new Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows Collection, it is just gorgeous. I made my card using the Damask and Chandelier Crows Paper along with the Witches Brew sticker from the sticker sheet that goes with the collection. I inked my edges using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

My favorite part though is the tulle, I took a 12" piece of black tulle, gathered it and placed it on glue dots to hold into place. I then added orange twine from The Twinery by wrapping it around the card to help secure the tulle into place. I added my Witches Brew Sticker on with pop dots to give it some dimension.

Thank You cards using My Minds Eye Stella Rose Hattie Paper Pad

I bought the My Minds Eye Stella Rose Hattie Paper pad and Gertie Girly Stamps recently and thought I would make a few thank you cards with them. I know I can never have to many thank you cards and thought you may like to see the versatility in using one stamp and achieving different looks with it.

On my first card I used one of the larger doily stamps and using three different Zing Embossing Powders (Mustard, Leaf and Navy) along with my embossing gun and Versamark ink I achieved this stamped images. I fussy cut around it and placed it on some squares that I had distressed using my Tim Holtz distressing tool and tiny attacher to do some stapling with. I placed it to the top of my card and then added an SRM Thank You sticker to a trip of paper and placed it on pop dots to go over the top of the square.
My second card is done with the same stamp. Only this time I use four different colors of Memento Ink (Cantaloupe, Bahama Blue, Summer Sky and Paris Dusk). I fussy cut around the image only this time I place a decorative brad in the center of the doily and placed it on pop dots and attached it to the front of my decorated A2 card base, again all of the papers came from the Stella Rose Paper Pad. My sentiment is also an SRM Thank You Sticker. I would encourage to try them, they sure make card fast and easy.
