Seasons of Joy Christmas Scissors with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts

Happy Saturday to all of our Gyspy Soul Laser Cuts Fans!!! Pam here today to share with you a fun and easy Seasons of Joy Christmas Scissors Wall Décor to add to your holiday decoration this year or to gift to a special person on your holiday list! 


Begin by painting Scissors Wall Décor with black paint, dry. Repeat with Weathered Wood; dry and lastly with Crackle Paste to achieve the crackle look. Next you will give a wash of the yellow and red paint; drying between coats. Lastly, add different layers of Metallic Lustre to achieve that vintage, rusty feel you like for your Seasons of Joy Christmas Scissors Wall Décor. Spatter with white and black paint; dry. 


Paint a frame from the Filigree Frames and Shape Set using paint and lustre to continue your vintage look. Adhere to the center of the prepared scissors. Add chipboard piece to center of frame. Wrap frame with brown twine. 


Add miniature poinsettia, white flowers, berries and pinecones randomly along edge of Filigree Frame. 


 Paint Leafy Swirl with paint and apply a bit of the lustre to edges. Stamp with background stamp and black paint. Spatter with white and black paint. Adhere prepared Leafy Swirl under florals.


Add tan twine bow and rusty jingle bells to finish you Seasons of Joy Christmas Scissors.

Vintage Christmas Frame with Tutorial and CAS Card Set with Sketch - Authentique


Hi Pam here today on the Authentique Blog sharing with you two projects using the Vintage Christmas Collection. Do you ever need a quick gift or maybe some fast and easy cards to make. Well today I will be sharing both with you! My first is a Merry and Bright Frame with Banners...


You begin by cutting both chipboard and pattern paper to 7" x 12.


Apply adhesive on the back of your pattern paper using your favorite adhesive. Adhere to top of chipboard.


Cut eight - 3/4" x 12" pieces of chipboard. Adhere 2 pieces together to get 4 pieces total.


Add prepared chipboard pieces to frame.


Die cut doily pieces from pattern paper; adhere them to inside of prepared frame along with border strips to top of chipboard.


 Add small squares to each corner. Place Christmas image to top of chipboard. Adhere them to black card stock and place inside of frame.


Fussy cut snowflakes from pattern paper; add to front of frame with twine. Add gemstones to snowflakes. String stickers and bells along the top of frame.


Add ribbon and twine bows to frame.


Place sticker "Merry and Bright" stickers to bottom of frame.


Add jingle bells from bows.


To create your "Noel" Card Set....


Start with a card sketch...




Cut three sets of each piece according to the chart.



Remember to die cut "Noel" sentiments and punch circles.


Layer pieces to top of card bases.


Layer images to card stock; add to card front.


Run circles through sticker maker; layer together.


Run "Noel" through sticker maker...


Add to front of prepared circles. Place on card front with pop dots.


Cut three sets of sentiments, black card stock and pattern paper. Layer together.


Add to inside of each card along with a sticker from the Vintage Christmas Detail Sheet

Winter Mixed Media Memo Holder with Eileen Hull Inspiration Team

Today I am sharing with you a tutorial on how to create a fun and super easy "Winter Mixed Media Memo Holder" using Eileen Hull's Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer Die. 


Begin by painting the inside of the Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer; allowing paint to dry between coats. 
Stamp background image to inside of Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer with black paint; dry. 


Turn the Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer  over; paint with black paint. Dry
Repeat with Weathered Wood and Crackle Paste; drying between applications. 


Do a wash of the paints; drying between coats. 


Stamp background image to Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer  with black paint; dry. 


Place stencil on prepared Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer  apply Crackle Paste with palette knife; dry. 


Adhere chipboard to front of prepared Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer  with pop dots. 




Glue flowers, leaves, twine bow and pinecones to front of Card Box, Planner Storage & Organizer .


Cover a 4" x 6" Bloc-Notes Pad with pattern paper. 


Adhere Epherema Card to front. 


Fussy cut like Epherema Card image; add piece to front of memo pad. 


Add a few more flowers, leaf, pinecones to top of memo pad.

Wild Whisper Christmas Mixed Media Card with Xyron and Wild Whisper


Shhhh......Christmas is 2 weeks away!!!!
Can you hear all the wild whispers being shared through your house, around your friends and co-workers.
I can...
So I knew when I seen the Home for the Holiday Collection I definitely would be making a few Christmas cards and tags.


Begin by distress pattern papers from the Wild Whisper's Home for the Holidays pattern paper using distress tool
Adhere to top of card base using Xyron/Teresa Collins Mega Runner.

Next,  ink a piece of card stock using Ranger inks to match the Wild Whisper Home for the Holidays pattern paper.


Stamp background image from the Home For The Holidays Christmas Stamp Set with black ink.




Apply prepared stamped paper to top of frame. 



Adhere packaging title to back of frame. 



Run prepared frame through Creative Station Lite.


Add to front of card. 


Stamp "Christmas" on to left over inked paper; distress sentiment edges with distress tool. 
Adhere to front of card with Xyron/Teresa Collins Mega Runner. 

Fussy cut 2 of the background images from leftover stamped paper. 
Adhere one to top of card; add second to top with pop dots. 


Die cut pinecones; form and add to front of card with bows and bells. 
Add gemstones.
