“Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition”

love Graphic 45 and thought I would try out for the Graphic 45 Design Team for 2012. I would like to share a tag that I made using the Tropical Travelogue Collection along with a card. On the tag I used the Tim Holtz Die along with a Mover and Shaper Flower Die to create the tag.
On the card I fussy cut the Island Girl out and added her to the front of my card along with a tag that I made from one of the borders.
I took a cigar box and made a Copic Marker box that I made for my BFF for her birthday.
This is the top where I used a lattice technique and some roly poly flowers that I make all of the time along with some fun metals and accordion flowers.
Here is inside of the lid which I hinged with a piece of ribbon. I love to fussy cut so I did a lot of it for my project.
At Valentine's Day I made a fun candy bag for one of my grandchildren to take to school.
Cards are always so fun to make and with the embellishments, borders and tags it is always easy to make a very gorgeous card.
My 8" tag was something that I had to just make because I fell in love with the vintage swimwear paper.
This is my grand daughter Annie and I new when I see the Baby Collection that this would be the perfect paper for my layout. My snowflakes are painted with paint dabbers and inked on the edges. Well fingers crossed, a little luck and a lot of prayer because I know the talent that will be trying out for the Graphic 45 Design Team.

Savor The Moment Acrylic Album

We spend almost every summer vacation with dear friends of ours and their family. These photos were taken a couple of years a go when we were around Hannibal MO.
When I work the acrylic albums I always work from the back to the front; this is a way for all of your layers to come together. My album is a Bo Bunny Acrylic and I used the papers, all of the embellishments and rub ons from the same collection from Bo Bunny.
We travel and stay at RV Parks, this one is an Encore Park, it had so much for us to do and was just so much fun. We went on a River Boat ride and had to hang on with the "Banjo Man".
Besides having a go cart race track and bumper boat bay they also had miniature golf that was all done in the theme of fairy tales.
We spent one day in Hannibal touring around and the small shops down town, eating ice cream and doing one of our husbands favorite things geocaching.
Notice how I used the rub ons on this page, what is so nice you can see them through both sides, it as easy as stamping with Stazon ink and your stamps.
This is the back of my book, I will be giving it to Samantha as a gift. I hope she enjoys it. Hugs Pammejo

Happy Fat Tuesday!!!!

Happy Fat Tuesday!!!! I made this mask last year and just thought it was to pretty not to do a re post on it. I bought the mask from my local craft store, it was already the gold color. I drew and added all of the bling paper, gemstones, some fabulous feathers to the top of the mask. Alson, on the right side of the mask I added an accordion folded flower - the center has an I Top Brad that has been covered and set in the center. I made twisted filigree stems from the paper so it would help with my feathers to give my mask dimension.
Of course, every Mardi Gras Celebration should have a Kings Cake so I have to share mine with you. Hugs Pammejo

Dream Card withTropical Travelogue

Love the new Tropical Travelogue collection from Graphic 45 - decided I just had to play with it and dream of summertime. I made this fabulous card, I started by fussy cutting the lady from one of the tags and used another of the tags as part of my sentiment. I added a Tim Holtz Dream ticket, Foliage flowers and leaves to the front of my card that I had inked with Tea Dye Distress ink, along with a border that I punched from an EK border punch.
I used the Tim Holtz Tag die along with the Flower Mover and Shaper Die to make my tag. I inked it with a mix of Broken China, Tea Dye and Ripe Persimmon Distress inks. I added some inked Tropical Travelogue paper that I tore along with an ATC tag from the paper pad. I stapled on both of the card and the tag - I think it gives a little character to the card. The center of the flower is an Epiphany 14 Bubble Cap and I added a fun charm to the tag that I received in a tag swap. Let me know if you are dreaming of summertime. Hugs Pammejo

How Sweet It Is To Be Loved Candle

Candles are so romantic on Valentine's Day and I couldn't help but make a special one to have for the day. I started out by getting a Yankee Candle, one of the large jars and of course the We R Memory Keepers Love Struck Collection to create with.
It is amazing that a 12 inch piece of paper won't fit around a jar, so to fix that I made a corset for it. There is always one way to make a piece of paper work. I added some fabulous Maya Road Flower Ribbon to the top of the jar to give it that vintage feel.
Do you notice the sewing, it is done with the We R Memory Keepers Easy Sew Scallop tool and some blue floss to stitch with. If you haven't used this tool it is super easy to use.
I added an accordion flower along with a die cut from the Love Struck pieces to the front of my jar. Using a Tim Holtz stick pin and another die cut along with a ribbon bow to finish off the front of the jar.
And of course to finish off the jar I had to add a little Cupid strip along withe some clear bling. I hope you enjoy my Valentine Candle and try making one for yourself. If you do stop by and let me know I would love to see it. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!! Pammejo

Happy Valentine Day Coupon Book

We are all a buzz around our house, the grandchildren have been getting into Valentine paper, markers and stickers to make their sweet Valentine boxes for school. It is exciting to watch them create and so I wanted to show you what I created for my sweetie for Valentines' Day. I made this sweet Valentine Coupon Book using some products from Pink Paislee.
I just love the journal blocks they are so easy to use and just the right size to use in my book. Of course I had to ink everything to give it that distress look and add some metals. Love, love metals embellishments.
Of course every project should have a little bit of ribbon and some fabulous bling.
I love to fussy cut, it gives great dimension to every project, plus I think it is so relaxing. I added some pop dots to the flowers along with Glossy Accent to give the centers a raised look.
I distressed some of my edges of my journal blocks with my Tim Holtz distress tool, inked them before I placed them on my pages.
And of course I had to place this on the back of my book because you know I did make it with love. I hope everyone has a very loved and fun filled Valentines Day. Please stop back tomorrow and see the fun candle I made and let me know if you made anything special for your Valentine, leave a link I know I would love to see it. Hugs Pammejo

Big, Big Hugs

With a very stressful week of two funerals, a family member being ill and taxes to be done I thought it only appropriate to make a card to send out giving my friends some Big, Big Hugs. I made my card using Hero Arts Hugs and Four Hearts stamp sets.
The hearts are done with a mult-embossing technique where you use a bit of the Adirondack Lettuce, Red Pepper and Wild Plum Embossing powders. Remember to use only a little of each and keep them seperated or they will become cross contaminated. The fun little stick pen that I tied a green sheer ribbon around is from Maya Road and of course you have to have a bit of bling to every project. I hope you all have a blessed week. Hugs Pammejo

Love Plaque

I love plaques, frames, books, oh well you get the idea, I just love to alter projects. I found this plaque at my local craft store for 2.99 , I had a 40% coupon. Yippee!!! My blue berries and brown flowers were also purchased there on sale. Another Yippee!!!The other flowers are from Prima and Stringing Heart Flowers along with some that I made. I painted my frame first using Cramcoat Burnt Umber. Placing my paper on the inside of plaque I then added some large twill ribbon and mini blue ric rac. I took two 3 1/2" dollies and ink the top of them with my Chestnut Roan ink, once they were ink I glue 1 doily to the lower inside left corner, 1/2 of a doily to the top right of the curve and 1/4 doily to the lower right inside corner of my plaque. My letters are the GCD Big Alphabet that I covered with the Frances Paper and ink using Chestnut Roan ink.

I used a Marvy 3 1/2" punch for my large flowers, but you can use any size. Just remember the smaller the circle the small the flower. I started on the outside of my circle cutting my circle into a spiral. Taking my tweezers I began rolling and as I rolled I would occasionally put us a small amount of glue to hold it into place. When I got it completely rolled I glue it to a small circle. When I knew my glue was dry I than added it to my plaque along with a little bling.
Supplies:
GCD Studios Ella Blue Collection: Georgia, Frances
GCD Studios Homespun Chic Collection: Pink Redwood
GCD Studios Big Alphabet
Plaque
Ribbon, two doilies, flowers, twigs, Brown Paint, Gemstones

Love the Art of the Card

Ihad to share the new Hero Arts Art of the Card Stamp set called "Untitled Word Shadow" Stamps today. They are just fabulous especially when you are using multi-embossing powders with them. I used a combo of the Adirondack Stream, Wild Plum and Red Pepper embossing powders to get the look I wanted for the Love sentiment.
Make sure you are patient and only apply a bit of embossing powder at a time, I just sprinkled a little here and a little there until I got the look I wanted. (I used a plastic spoon to help in this) Once I got my sentiment embossed I punched it out the 1 1/2 circle punch and placed it on pop dots. Do you notice the banner, I fussy cut the banner to give the bottom of the card multilayers and dimension. My Minds Eye Love Me Plaid and Pink Hex paper work wonderful for my card today. I added a tulle bow, bling and several buttons to give my Love card a little swag. Hope you enjoy. Pammejo

Yum Yum Goodie Bag with Graphic 45

Is everyone getting ready for Valentines Day? Are you making those Valentine cards, bags, tags and candy boxes, I know I am and have been placing several fun ideas on my blog the last week or so. Today I made a Farmers Market Paper Bag with Windows into a fabulous teacher's gift bag to give to a favorite teacher. I used the Graphic 45 ABC Primer Collection since I thought it was perfect for any teacher and an alternative to the traditional pink and red Valentine treat. I cut my paper and then used a 2" punch to make the circle to fit perfectly for the window. I also fussy cut some ABC and added them to the bottom, some strips and of course I wrapped report card with some black and white twine and a fun Epiphany Bubble Cap over a clock to make it interesting. I hope you enjoy this idea and try to make something special for those in your life this Valentine season.
