Summer Vibe Hidden Paper Clip Enclosures

Summer Vibes is a fun way to create small projects like hidden paper clip enclosures for your upcoming journals or pages. 

Die cut two of the back pieces of the Garden Gate Album to create the album.

 Fill with pages created from copy paper to form journal. 

Create hidden pocket by cutting base piece to measure about 4 1/2" x 9 1/2", fold in half. 

Die cut Page Edges to bottom of folded piece.

Punch as semi circle at top. 

Add paper clip. 

Repeat with pattern paper, (Don't punch the top out)

Adhere the pattern fold piece over the paper clip to hide it. 

Add Page Edges border to bottom of base. 

Add an Ephemera Pocket and Tags to the top of hidden paper clip closure add Page Edges border to bottom.

Place tag inside of pocket. 

Decorate with top with from Stitched Hearts , Page Edges, fussy cut pieces and resin bees. 

Add to prepared journal to hold close. 

 

The size of your journals doesn't matter when creating hidden paper clip enclosures. 

Just adjust the length and width of the base paper and size of the paper clip. 

Travel Journal 

Add 'Lacy Leaves Embossing Folder piece to cover along with border and pom pom ribbon. 

Add embossed Stitched Hearts and Nora Numbers to front of travel journal. 

Create hidden paper clip as above.

Decorate with Mandala Die, Ephemera Pocket and Tags, Page Edges, Ephemera and Twine. 

Add prepared paper clip enclosure to travel journal. 

So easy to create and a fun way to use up all those scraps.

Adhere pattern paper to top of card base. 

Emboss white adhesive card stock; add to front of card. 

Add pattern paper banner and white emboss banner to card. 

Stamp Hello to white oval and mat to red oval card stock. 

Add to card with pop dots.

Thanks Card

Adhere card stock layers to a 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" square card base. 

Lay cardstock on grip pad with stencil. Apply Diamond Press Clear Texture Past to top, 

Sprinkle with shades of Glaze Embossing Powder, heat set

Add to top of card. 

Die cut Thanks letters twice, layer together to create a shadow. 

Add to layered mats and place on card front with pop dots.

Happy Anniversary Card

Stamp flowers and leaves randomly on White Adhesive Card Stock, color with Copic Markers! 

Stamp sentiment on white card stock with black ink, mat on red card stock.

 Add to card front.

Hello Card

Emboss white adhesive card stock, adhere to card base!

 Add strip of paper along with pattern paper to bottom of card.

Die cut Hello from White Adhesive Card Stock, add to bottom of card. 

Die cut background, flowers and leaves.

Ink edges of flowers with distress ink. 

Add to card along with twine bow.

Miss You Card

Adhere brown card stock to card base,

Emboss White Adhesive Card Stock using Flower Embossing Folder! 

Apply Distress inks over top of embossed paper and then apply distress inks to each flower and leaf. 

Add to top of card base. 

Die cut stitched border strips from white adhesive card stock, add to top of card. 

Die cut shadow sentiment, emboss with barnwood embossing folder, layer together. 

Add to top of card.

FAMILY Gather Alphabet Soup Wall Hanging

What a fun inspirational month with Eileen's newest dies.... ALPHABET SOUP!!!

I am super excited to see what fun projects everyone creates using the Nora Alphabet and Nora Numbers Dies!

 I have been inspired for years to create a fun cross word type puzzle theme Wall Hanging. 

I found it was super easy to do. 

Begin by adhering pretty pattern paper and a scallop border to a wood 10" x 10" base. 

Die cut words that will cross puzzle nicely together and fit a theme. 

Making sure that they will layer nicely on your prepared wood base. 

Once you have the words adhered to the base decorate with small embellishments.

 I used a variety of Eileen's dies to decorate with. 

Finish with adding natural jute around the edges and small layered circles to the corners.

Super easy and clean.

Add pattern paper to top of card base. 

Die cut background die; add to top.

Add a few ephemera pieces to background along with sentiment.

The Journey Just Bee-Gun Gate Album

The Journey Has Just Bee-Gun... using all of Eileen's fabulous new dies and embossing folders!!!

Are you ready for all of the fabulous projects coming up! 

I know we are super excited over on Eileen's Fan Club and other social media accounts to see your projects so make sure to tag Eileen and Sizzix! 

We don't want to miss out! 

Die cut the Garden Gate Album; add the front part of the gate to the back with brads and  bit of glue.

Form a flip book is easy...

Cut the top piece a 1/2" bigger on one side to adhere to back cover of album. 

Repeat with a longer strip that has been folded and adhere to back cover of album. 

Cover back cover of album. 

Decorate each of the page folds with pockets, tags, borders, ephemera, etc. 

Create pockets using the Ephemera Pocket and Tags, add tags using Ephemera to pocket to fit in the pocket. 

Add to created pocket using a sticker and Page Edges border. 

Decorate with Ephemera. 

Add Strip to front of prepared page. 

Add magnet to back of closure strip.

Add decorative mat over top along with sticker border. 

Add Epherma to page and Page Edges border.

Page Flaps

First flap decorate with Page Edges on edge.

Add a pocket, decorate with Page Edges border and Stitched Hearts.

Decorate with Ephemera. 

Add small book to inside of pocket using Journal piece. 

Outside Flap

Add layers of pattern paper to background flap. 

Add Ephemera Pocket and Tags  to front. 

 

Add tag to inside of pocket. 

Decorate with button, twine and ephemera. 

Back of Flap 1, add mats and Watercolor Bouquet  mat to top. 

Add magnet under embossed piece for the closure strip. 

Decorate with ephemera. 

Back of Flap 2; add mats to flap along with small doilies. 

Add Ephemera  Tags to top. Decorate with Watercolor Bouquet Embossing Folder, Stitched Hearts, twine and Ephemera. 

Fold flaps together to fit inside of book. 

Close with closure strip. 

Add invisible Velcro to edge of gate and front-page flap. to hold album together. 

Finish by stamping the gate with black ink using a crackle stamp. 

Add small metal handle

Decorate with small doily, Ephemera Tag, fussy cut flowers and resin bees.

 Enjoy creating your own Garden Gate Albums.
