St Nicholas Joy Banner with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts


Wow!!! It is already Nov 30th...can you believe it? Needless to say Christmas is in full swing on my blog, in my studio and home. Today I am sharing with you my St Nicholas  "Joy" Banner using the Holiday BannerSet that will be coming soon to the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts store, so make sure just to contact Gina if you are needing some.


Begin by tracing mittens on to pattern paper with pencil.


Adhere cut out pieces to  with your favorite Holiday BannerSet adhesive; I use a Xyron Creative Station.


Add Snow Tex to the top of each Christmas Mitten; dry.


Emboss the "Joy" letters from the Holiday BannerSet with embossing powder and VersaMark.


Die cut small doilies from your favorite die cut or contact Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Store to have some cut for you. Adhere prepared "Joy" letters to the top of the mittens.


Cover three 4" x 6 chipboard with pattern paper. Adhere prepared Christmas Mittens to top of each banner.


Decorate with twine and charms....



and prepared chipboard that comes with the collection or other fabulous chipboard from Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Store.

"Believe in the Magic of Christmas" with Julie Nutting


Believe in the Magic of Christmas Card!
I created a card today using the Wings and Riley along with the Kaiser Christmas Wishes Paper Collection. 


Begin by punching out the sentiment from the paper pad. 
Stamp several wings on to pattern paper using black ink. 
Fussy cut out.
Place under the sentiment to form a wreath. 


Layer pattern paper and borders to the top of a 6" x 8" card base. 


Add prepared Wings wreath to the front of card. 


Punch sentiment from second piece of pattern paper. 
Add to top of card front with pop dots. 


Fussy cut poinsettia flowers from pattern paper.
Layer together. 
Add to front of card front. 


Make bow; add to front of card. 


Stamp Riley on white paper and pattern paper with black ink: color with markers or pencils. 
Fussy cut out. 


Add dress to coloredRiley image. 
 Stamp several layers of Riley dress to the pattern paper. 
Adhere to front of dress. 


Add fussy cut bodice and waist band to Riley.
Add bow tie.

Homemade Christmas with Eileen Hull Inspiration Team and DCWV



Are you enjoying the Winter Wonderland Blog Hop with Eileen Hull's Inspiration Team and DCWV Design Team...I am!!! There has been so many beautiful projects this month from both teams. 


Today I created a Homemade Christmas Frame using Eileen's Jars and Label along with the Lace Doily Die. 


Adhere DCWV Cranberry Christmas Premium Paper to inside of frame. 
Die cut the lace doily from the DCWV Cranberry Christmas Premium Stack, place in frame. 
Die cut "Happy December" using Kitchen Label Die; add to frame with pop dots. 


Die cut jars and labels from both mat board and paper; adhere together. 
Wrap twine around top of jars; add to inside of frame with pop dots. 
Fussy cut a few of the flowers from pattern paper; layer together. 
Add to inside of frame. 


Die Cut "Homemade Christmas" letters from pattern paper. 
Adhere to inside of prepared frame. 
Add floral berries, pine cones and trees to frame.


Make bow; adhere to top of frame. 
Add more of the floral and pine cones to top of frame along with premade poinsettias.

St Nicholas Advent Tree with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts

Hi Gypsy Soul Laser Cut Fans...today is a double post for me.

Good morning!!! Today I am sharing my St Nicholas Advent Tree; it won't be long before the count down happens.


Begin by painting the pieces of Advent Tree; dry. Lay stencil on prepared pieces; apply gesso to each piece. Allow everything to dry. Paint with layers of paint going from lightest to dark. Drying between layers.


Repeat until you achieve the look you want with the paints. Dry. Lay second stencil to the top of pieces and apply paste with palette knife. Dry. Stamp background image on to pieces with black paint; dry.


Cut chipboard to form base. (Contact Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Store to get price.) Tape together to hold shape as you apply paper to top and sides.


Adding borders strips that have been scored to the top and sides will support the box.


Adhere prepared base to top of prepared stand.


Emboss "Days Until Christmas" with embossing powder.


Emboss Flourished Deer with embossing powder. 


 Apply lustre to the Flourished Deer and "Days Until Christmas".


Adhere start to top of tree along with twine bow.


Apply luster to Winter Shape Set snowflakes. 


Adhere to prepared tree along with twine bows and jiggle bells.


Paint numbers and adhere to front of prepared pieces.


Add two prepared numbers to the front of the advent tree with twine.


Adhere Flourished Deer  to each side of advent tree base.


along with berries, pinecones....


ribbon.


Adhere a premade Santa or other piece to the base.


Adhere prepared "Days Until Christmas" to the front of stand.


Add paper to the back of advent tree and box. Adhere box to stand. Add a twine bow and jingle bells.


Tie twine ribbon to each of the number plaques and place in box behind prepared tree.
