My HEART is Blooming Art Journal Pages


My HEART is Bloomin art journal pages created with Deco Art Media Paints and Stencils. 


Apply Graphic 45 Quote and Newsprint DIY Craft Paper to top of pages. 


Apply Translucent White paint to top of prepared page. Dry
Lay stencil on page; apply crackle paste to stencil with palette knife. 


Spray page with water. 
Apply water down Yellow Oxide paint and add to top of page while wet. 
(Mist page more if necessary)
Repeat with Green Gold paint. Dry


Stamp and color flower images from Bloom in Love stamp Set using markers. 
Fussy cut images; add to prepared page with Matte Gel Medium. Dry
Stamp sentiments with black ink to cardstock; add to page. 


Spray page lightly with water. 
Apply water down Colbalt Teal Hue  paint and add to top of page while wet. 
(Mist page lightly with water if necessary)


Apply water down Quinacridone Burnt Orange paint and add to top of page while wet. 
(Mist page more if necessary)
Repeat with Stabilo Brown 3 in 1 Woody Pencil on page. Dry.


Stamp Carefree Riverbed Background Stamp with Black ink. 


Add Graphitint black pencil around edges of images and corners.


Add rub-ons. 


Add inks to top of sentiments.


Spatter with white paint. 
Enjoy creating art journal pages with your favorite paints.

Go For It Art Journal Pages


GO FOR IT!!!
Grab all those craft inks, sprays, stamps, etc. and just "GO FOR IT"!
Grab your favorite Arteza Watercolor Book along with a Pigma Micron Pen and let's get started.


Start by drawing a bunch of geometric shapes on you pages with pen. 
Stamp inside shapes using various stamps with black ink. 
(Marke sure to mask around shapes prior to stamping.)


Color stamped shapes in with various water markers using water pen to apply. 
Stamp larger flowers on copy paper; fussy cut around images. 
Adhere images to page. 


Stamp stars randomly on pages with black ink. 


Shade around all stamped and paper images with grey water mark using water pen. Dry


Shake a bit of Lindy's Gang randomly here and there on pages, mist with water. Dry.


Stamp border stamp on pages.
Do doodling lines on pages with pen.
Lay Bedazzled Stencil on pages; apply DecoArt Crackle Paste using palette knife. Dry


Die cut large butterfly from grill paper; adhere to pattern paper. 
Fussy cut around image. 


Add prepared butterfly to page. 
Spatter pages with gesso. 


LEFT PAGE CLOSE UP PHOTOS


Add stickers to page. 


Add Glossy Accent to center of circles prior to spattering. Dry


Add small bird die cut to bottom of page. 


RIGHT PAGE CLOSE UP PHOTOS


Add stickers to page. 



Finish with randomly placing droplets on pages; dry.

Springtime Mixed Media Egg with Eileen Hull Inspiration Team


Happy May to all things Eileen Hull Designs!!!
Don't you love May. Flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and everything is coming into color!
I hope you are ready for a fun filled month with Eileen Hull Inspirational and Education Team projects!
Theme this month is Birds, Eggs, Nest, etc. 
I know I am looking for to the inspiration 
BUT... 
FIRST...
let me share with you my 
SPRINGTIME MIXED MEDIA EGG!


First prepare the hand that the Paper Mache egg will be placed in! 

Photo 1: Paint stand with Americana Weathered Wood; dry. Apply Peacock Feather Paint; Dry. 
Photo 2: Apply DecoArt Antiquing Creams to top of prepared stand; Dry. Remove some of the antiquing cream from stand with wet one; dry. Add some Textured Sanding Paste here and there; dry.
Set to one side.  


Photo 3: Cut Shurtape to fit in #665915 Floral Mandala Embossing Folder; emboss. 
Photo 4: Add embossed pieces to top of Paper Mache egg. 


Photo 5: Apply Crackle Paste; dry. Add a bit of Antiquing Cream to top and dry. 
Photo 6: Apply Metallic Lustre to top of embossed Paper Mache Egg until you get the color shade you like on your embossed egg. 


Photo 7: Adhere prepared egg to stand. 
Photo 8: Adhere moss and bird to project.


Photo 9: Die cut #664882 Mandala Die from white card stock; apply distress ink to top with blending tool. Cut into pieces; adhere under bird and around resin pieces. 
Photo 10: Create resin pieces using IZOD Moulds and Paperclay; antique using antiquing cream from DecoArt. Remove bits of the antiquing cream when dry with Wet One. Add resin pieces to prepared egg. 


Die cut flowers and leaves from #665938 ShadowBox #1 Die; adhere randomly around egg. 


Add small jar to stand along with twine bow. 



Add gold mica beads randomly around stand and on prepared egg. 


Drape chain from bird's beak and attach to bottle.

"Graphic 45 2019 Brand Ambassador Audition"


I am so excited to share a my love for Graphic 45!
SO...
I am trying out for the Graphic 45 2019 - 2020 Brand Ambassador Design Team!!!
I love how easy it is to create Easy, Intermediate or Difficult projects using Graphic 45!
Graphic 45 papers and products always fits into my creative spirit!
Today I am sharing what I consider Intermediate and with the love of fussy cutting details.



Begin by applying Crackle Paste over stencil to canvas using palette knife. Dry.
Mix paints to achieve color hues to match pattern paper. 
Paint washed layers of paint to canvas; drying between each layer.



Stamp background images onto prepared canvas with paints; dry



Adhere chipboard frame and Epherema card to top of canvas. 


Fussy cut images from pattern paper


Add fussy cut images with pop dots


Adhere metal gears to top of canvas.


Tie twine bow to hot air balloon. 
Add twine string to bow


Twist and turn twine around gears and attach to Epherema Card



Add bow and flowers to canvas.


I love how perfect the collection is to anyone's creative imagination!
