Make the Season Bright Card

Well let us make this Christmas Season Bright is what this holiday card is all about. I just love the Inkadinado Deer Stamp, he is just so fun. I colored the deer using my Copic Markers and fussy cut him out. I placed him on a Snowflake Embossed piece of green paper that I wrapped with a piece of red sheer ribbon and placed it on my My Minds Eye The Merry Days of Christmas card base using pop dots. (Remember to stamp and emboss your Hero Arts Laughter and Merriest Sentiment before you place this piece to the card base.) My little string of light I picked up in the minature Christmas section of Hobby Lobby. So make sure to look around all your favorite craft and scrapbook stores to find those fun embellishments. Merry Christmas Card

I made this fun little snowman card using the Penny Black Christmas Text and Holly Jolly stamps. I love the look of the Fine Sage Flower Soft that I placed on my distress stamped back. I used my Tim Holtz distress tool and stapler to give my background a really rustic look so the fern would pop off the page when I applied the flower soft.
*remember to take your time when working with flower soft, a little glue, a little soft, press it in and it will stay once it dries. You will need to be patience when working with it. My snowman is colored with my Copic Markers and I added a bit of glitter using my Clear Stardust pen and then placed him on a pop dot. I hope you try using Flower Soft, hugs Pammejo

Tag Exchange

Here are the 3 tags I made for the tag exchange I was recently in with a group of ladies from the A Lil Scrap of Heaven Group.
This is one set of tags that I received from our group.
A third set, we were to make three sets of 5 tags.
The fourth set, what is so fabulous about it is that we all received 15different tags to place on our Christmas gifts.
And here is the last group of three. I am so pleased with the exchange, this is the first tag exchange I have ever done and look forward to doing others. What about you have you ever done an exchange, I would love to hear about it and if you do it with sites that would be fabulous to know about also.

Believe in the Magic of Christmas Painters Tray!!!!

I just love painters trays and I purchased this 7 Gypsies Solo Shadow Box Tray to make my project with. I chose Imaginisce fabulous Cottage Christmas Collection: papers, embellishments, and snowflakes to make my project.
On the sides of my Solo Shadow Box I placed 4 of the 7 Gypsies Display Trim Loops and Hooks so I could thread the the sheer green and red ribbon through (this helps to hold the ribbon in place around the tray) and tie them together at one corner. I place a clear snowflake to the corner of the tray to hide the knot using Glossy Accent.
In the top left square of the tray I placed a flower brad that I made using one of the Imaginisce Snow Flowers, medium brad and my I-Top. On the middle square I placed one of the houses from the Imaginisce Sticker Glass, added some Liquid Applique to the roof and yard to make it look like snow. I then added a fussy cut tree to the front yard with pop dots. The bottom square was one of the die cuts from the paper along with another Sticker Glass Direction sign along with a flying reindeer.
The larger square is made up on a tree that I drew, did some snow on, added some Maraschino Red Twine to along with some fussy cut ornaments from another piece of the paper collection. I placed Santa in the left corner, added a few gifts for the tree and a clear glass ornament to the top of the tree.
Try making one of these fun Shadow Box Tray, you will surely enjoy them. Hugs Pam

Elf Legs Card

I borrowed this Northwoods stamp from my friend Debbie, I just had to make a couple of cards using it. I used Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers: Tinsel, Glee, Red Ryder, Trinket. I colored them in with my Copic Markers and used an EK Le Circle border punch. My colored legs are double matted on paper that I distressed with Tim Holtz Gathered Twigs (is is one of his new fall distress inks), added some staples from the Tim Holtz tiny attacher and then placed them on pop dots before placing the matted piece on my card base. Once I had it my card together I added Glossy Accent to the bells that were hanging from the Elf's shirt and tops of his shoes. So during this Christmas season I challenge you to look for some fun stamps to play with. Hugs Pammejo

Turkey Can

Don't you love the little Stampendous pails, I know I do. I was thinking about what to post for today and remember I made this little table decoration last year and thought I would share it with you. The tail feathers were made from scrapbook paper that I used my Martha Stewart Sheer scissors on to make fun strips and attached it behind the "Heartflet Thanks" piece of the turkey.
I also made a rosette and placed it on top of the can. I used SRM Stickers for all of the sentiments along with papers from Imaginisce. Thank you for stopping by and hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving. I would like you to know also I will start posting my Christmas projects the day after Thanksgiving. Hugs Pammejo

My Favourite Things Blog Hop

Well come to the My Favourite Things Blog Hop that the very talented Gill from Creations by Gill is hosting. So if you just stopped by I would like to invite you to join us in our hop today and if you came from Anita's and Bugs Blog then you are heading in the right direction. We were asked to make a project of one of our favorite things and I decided to do a layout of my "Bike". My husband bought it for me two years ago as a surprise and it is one of my favorite things. I used the Jillibean Egg Drop Soup Collection for my layout.
I love distressing my paper not with just ink but also with the Tim Holtz distress tool to rough up my edges and I thought it gave my layout a great look when I think of a bike going down the path on the Greenline in Memphis, that is one of our favorite places to ride.
My fun letters are a mix of Making Memories, Mrs Grossmans and Pink Paislee. I generally make my letter but decided to use these and just mix it up a bit. I also added a stamped filigree on the corners of my paper. Thank you for stopping by to see what one of my favorite things. Stop back by tomorrow you never know what may be going on at Scrapbook Flair. Hugs.

Because of the Brave Blog Hop on Veterans Day

We can never say thank you enough to our Vets that have served over the years and that are serving now. They are the reason we have our life, our liberty and our freedom. Thank you. If you are joining us in the Because of the Brave Blog Hop and have come from the talented Gina's of California Scrappin' than you are heading in the right direction but if you would like to start at the beginning go to Nicolette's Beyond Scrappin' The photos are of my father as a young man, he was 17 when he enlisted in the Marine Corp, he went through basic training and then went right overseas to fight in World War II and our son Matthew he enlisted when he was 19. I used an Explorer by Traditions Jewelry Piece from Hobby Lobby to place to the left of my journaling. It has the directions of the compass on it, thought it worked perfectly for my layout. The small stars are from the negative spots from the Quickutz Star border. The Paper Company "The Journey" paper is where I got my title for my page. I just love this paper it was a perfect representation for the theme I was looking for my layout. "The Journey Through Time". I wanted the layout to represents the journey through our time as a nation. Always remember our Vets and their families, their sacrifices and their service. Your next stop on the blog hop is with our talented Denine of Pumpkin Spice. Bo Bunny Card Challenge Tuesday Card

Bo Bunny is having a card challenge this week. I selected the new Father Christmas Paper Pak to do mine in. I also used the Bo Bunny Father Christmas Cut Outs sheet along with the trinkets.
I made my ruffle using one of the green papers from the paper pak, I scored two pieces of 1" x 6" on the 1/4" line, accordion fold the paper and attached it to the back of the fussy cut Jingle Bell paper that I had precut using Glossy Accent. I then shaped the ruffle so that it would match my Jingle Bell paper. Added the Jingle Bells from the die cut sheet. I also took one of the metal trinkets, cut it in half and added it to my card base. Make sure to stop by Bo Bunny site to get the sketch to join in the challenge. Hugs.

Christmas Is For Kids Blog Hop Dec 5th and 6th

Welcome to Day One of the Christmas Is For Kids Blog Hop that is being hosted by our fabulous designer Ellen of the Card Monkey. The Christmas is For Kids Blog Hop is a two day hop.... that mean today and tomorrow there will be 25 different designers sharing their beautiful banners that they worked so hard on so each child at the Pediatric Specialty Care Center would each receive one to hang over their beds. If you came from the talented Tami of the Tambo's Creations then you are heading in the right direction. If you stopped by looking for the KinderStampO's blog hop it will be in the posting below.
I used the We R Memory Keepers Peppermint Twist Collection for my banner. On the first banner I fussy cut the top part of the paper and layered it over the green paper. I added one of the stickers from the layered words sticker sheet and cut the Santa Claus in half so it would make his body look longer. I also added some Glossy Accent to the ornaments to give them dimension. On the "N" banner I made an accordion circle to place under the letter. I used my EK Success Le Circles to create the large circles for my border at the top, added a sticker from the Embossible Designer Sticker sheet. I added the layered accordion letter that I had made to the top of the banner.
The "O" letter is made from the Chip Decor letters that I bought to do all of the NOEL in. (I got them at Hobby Lobby) I covered my banner with more of the Peppermint Twist paper, added some Little Yellow Bicycle Canvas Tape along with some of the Little Yellow Bicycle Fabric Favorites.
Banner with the "E" is again layered with the Peppermint Twist papers, some of the journal blocks from one of the sheets of paper along with a few stickers from the Embossible Design Stickers. The stringer of stockings is from the Little Yellow Bicycle Fabric Favorites sheet.
My "L" banner has a been layered again with the Peppermint Twist collection and the 10 Things I Love About Christmas is from Little Yellow Bicycle.
The last banner is finished with adding stickers from the Embossible Sticker Sheet along with a Happy Holidays Die Cut. I hope you have enjoyed my banner and I still need to get it strung together and mailed in to Ellen for the children. Your next stop on the hop is with our creative Charity of Scrap Faire. Remember to visit Ellen of the Card Monkey because there will be more inspiration also you don't want to miss out on the giveaways from doing the hop.

You're a Hoot Card with We R Memory Keepers

It is definitely time to get all that Thanksgiving inspiration flowing and I have been making Thanksgiving cards. My first card is made from the We R Memory Keepers Autumn Splendor and Sunset Paper. I placed my paper on my card base after I inked the pieces with Chestnut Roan Ink and corner rounded the bottoms of my card base. I added my tag, owl and sentiment after I had used my Tim Holtz Distress Tool and Chestnut Roan ink. I added a few staples from my Tim Holtz Stapler and added my You're A Hoot sentiment on pop dots after I wrapped my tan twine around my card.

My second card is made with Pink Paislee Amber Road Harvest Hayride, it is amazing how well these paper collections go together. I used my EK Abstract Flower Punch and did my border out of the rust card stock and the Harvest Hayride paper. I made sure once again to ink all of my edges with Chestnut Roan Ink before I placed them on my card base. I then added Imaginisce"Happy Fall" sticker up on pop dots and to finish my card I added a few clear gemstones to the border. I hope you are inspired to start your Thanksgiving cards and decorations.
