Throw Back Thursday with Graphic 45 Altered Birdhouse and Skeleton

Throw Back Thursday with my altered Skeleton and Birdhouse....to begin with I made an altered Skeleton and birdhouse for my mantle. I purchased my skeleton at our local Michael Store. I made his top hat by cutting the rim and the top from cardboard and covering it with paper. All of the paper I used for my project is from the Graphic 45 Happy Haunting Collection!!!! I love Graphic 45 and felt this was perfect for my Halloween decorations
.

I tied some torn, tie-dyed  gauze to the brim of hat, added a large sunflowers, spiders, a large crow and some skeleton hands to the top of my hat. I had to add some metal to his face, so the washers and bat was a must.

Every fancy skeleton should have a fancy bow tie and of course a key to his heart along with spiders and webs.
Here is a closer look at my birdhouse....
I took the witch at the top of my birdhouse and placed her on chipboard before I fussy cut her out. I placed it to the front of my covered roof and added an accordian folded flower that the sun head fits on.
On the bottom of my birdhouse is some of the images that I cut from the paper and layered to the birdhouse. I added some Tim Holtz, 7 Gypsy and Graphic 45 metals to my project. Don't you just love the wheels.
Here is one side of the birdhouse. I found these fun, glitter spiders at Michaels
Just a closer look at the bottom of this side.
The other side of the birdhouse.
Another close up of this side showing the how fun it is to fussy cut. It always gives depth to your projects.
Again, a use of stickers along with more metals.
Don't you love the metal spider. I know I do. I hope you have enjoyed my Throw Back Thursday project and try altering yourself a birdhouse or dressing up a skeleton for Halloween. Hugs Pammejo

Sweet Friend Card with Inspired by Stamping

Good Morning Sweet Friends....can you believe it is the beginning of Fall....it is so hard to believe how fast the year has went by....but there is still time to think about all the fun times that we enjoyed over the summer and maybe do a few more BBQ, picnic, etc.
Today I want to share with you a fun card to send to a "sweet friend" of mine just because I miss her....I used Inspired by Stamping Mason Jar Summer Add Ons and Beautiful Iris Stamp Sets. I stamped the Mason Jar Summer Add Ons fruit twice with green and red ink, fussy cut them out and layered them together with pop dots. I used the Sweet Friend sentiment from the Beautiful Iris Stamp Set stamping it on a 1 1/2 x 1 3/4 piece of paper with red ink, inked the edges with brown and butterscotch ink and layered the image on a second piece of paper with pop dots. I place all three pieces over the top of my inch ribbon border that I had placed on my card, along with a pretty bow.
Placing a flag banner that I fussy cut from a piece of the paper and a small strip at the bottom of the sentiment along with some gemstones to finish my card.  I hope you take a moment and send a special friend or two just because...I know I enjoy receiving them in the mail. Hugs Pammejo

SinCity Stamps Design Team Call Project - A Wing Above the Rest

I hope you enjoy my entry for the SinCity Stamps Design Team, I have my fingers crossed for a second term. If you haven't been to the SinCity Stamps Store, you must check it out...they have some wonder stamps and other products available for the card maker, scrapbooker and altered projects artist. I hope you enjoy the tag that I  made to share with you today...called A Wing Above the Rest...
I gathered up my inks and my stamp set from Sin City Stamps called A Wing Above the Rest to make my fabulous tag with. If you are like me I love tags and the more unique the better. I made this one to add to one of scrapbook pages for our trip we took to Alaska because it was such an adventure.
So I started my tag by doing multiple stamping of the winged corset stamp on to different sheets of 7Gypsies Postal Papers using my Memento ink.
I fussy cut out all of the images, inked the edges with brown ink, glued them together. Make sure that you only glue the corset part of the stamped image, leave the wings free for flight.
I stamped my tag twice with the background stamp that is the Wings Above the Rest set using black ink. Using my Wild Honey, Broken China, Wild Honey along with my  blending tool I covered my background stamp.
Once the background was finished I started layering my paper by first adding my stamped world image to the side of my tag and then placing my "Winged Corset" to the top of the tag. Make sure you only glue the corset, leaving the wings free so you are able to bend them up in flight.
I added a few 7Gypsies gears, paper clip and a paper ribbon to the bottom of the tag that I stamped "Adventure" to. I hope you try your hand at making some unique tags and check out the stamps at Sin City Stamps since they have some very unique ones. Wish me luck on the DT Call. Hugs Pammejo

Believe in the Magic of Christmas Painters Tray!!!!

I just love painters trays and I purchased this 7 Gypsies Solo Shadow Box Tray to make my project with. I chose Imaginisce fabulous Cottage Christmas Collection: papers, embellishments, and snowflakes to make my project.
On the sides of my Solo Shadow Box I placed 4 of the 7 Gypsies Display Trim Loops and Hooks so I could thread the the sheer green and red ribbon through (this helps to hold the ribbon in place around the tray) and tie them together at one corner. I place a clear snowflake to the corner of the tray to hide the knot using Glossy Accent.
In the top left square of the tray I placed a flower brad that I made using one of the Imaginisce Snow Flowers, medium brad and my I-Top. On the middle square I placed one of the houses from the Imaginisce Sticker Glass, added some Liquid Applique to the roof and yard to make it look like snow. I then added a fussy cut tree to the front yard with pop dots. The bottom square was one of the die cuts from the paper along with another Sticker Glass Direction sign along with a flying reindeer.
The larger square is made up on a tree that I drew, did some snow on, added some Maraschino Red Twine to along with some fussy cut ornaments from another piece of the paper collection. I placed Santa in the left corner, added a few gifts for the tree and a clear glass ornament to the top of the tree.
Try making one of these fun Shadow Box Tray, you will surely enjoy them. Hugs Pam
