Celebrate Snow!!!!

I am celebrating the survival of Christmas and hope you had a "merry" one.
I had to share one last Christmas card I made for this year because I love the Top Hat Snowman.
AND....
This week the Stampendous Design Team is celebrating SNOW since soon we will be heading into SPRING very soon!!!
Begin by stamping snowflake images using white embossing paste that has been thin down slightly with water.
Stamp Top Hat Snowman image on white card stock.
Color with markers.
Apply Dreamweavers White Embossing Paste using stencil and palette knife.
Allow to dry completely.
Adhere snowman to top of card front.
Stamp sentiment on pattern paper with Versamark.
Apply Ivory embossing powder.
Heat set.
Use palette knife and apple white embossing paste to bottom of image.
Go over the top of paste multiple times with palette knife and stencil brush to make the lifts in the embossing paste to form the snow.
Repeat on the top of the hat with the same technique.
I hope you enjoyed my Celebrate Snow Card!
Have fun playing in the snow because Spring is right around the corner!!!!
Make sure to check out all the Celebrate Snow projects  that are being shared by the Stampendous Design Team.

Olde Curiosity Shoppe Shadowbox with Xyron!!!!

I love making shadow boxes from chipboard and paper using Xyron Creative Station!!!
It goes together so quickly and makes a wonderful home decoration for any room in your home or to give as a gift anytime of the year.
I begin by first cutting my chipboard and laying out how I might want to place all of my pieces. Graphic 45 Old Curiosity Shoppe makes laying out the pieces easy because of all the fabulous journal pieces that come on the pattern paper.
Cut pattern paper with trimmer to fit a piece of 7 1/2" x 11" chipboard and 1/2" x 11" chipboard.
Run pattern paper through the Xyron Creative Station using Xyron 9" Permanent Adhesive.
Change Xyron 9" Permanent Adhesive in the Xyron Creative Station to the 5" Permanent Adhesive. Close lid.
Run smaller pieces through the Xyron Creative Station.
Remove pattern paper from adhesive sheet and place on chipboard.
Trim paper from around the smaller pieces on adhesive sheet, ink all edges prior to removing from adhesive sheet.
Place Lady Journal Block and Butterfly Journal Block on black card stock.
Run these two piece back through the Xyron Creative Station.
Adhere smaller prepared pattern pieces to inside of frame to form a shadow box using the small borders and pieces from the journal pattern paper.
Fussy cut butterflies, lady, birdhouse, frame, etc. Place Xyron Adhesive Squares to back of pieces. Place on top of matching pieces.
Add faucets and hangers to top of shadow box.
Adhere key.
To form the top part of the Old Curiosity Shoppe Shadowbox.
THEN....
Add banner, washers...
pen metal and butterfly metals to center of shadow box.
 Place arrows beside the birdcage.
To form the center part of the Olde Curiosity Shoppe Shadowbox.
FINALLY....
Add a metal rim to side of the Olde Curiosity Shoppe Shadowbox with Xyron Adhesive Dots.
Hand key from rim.
Add fussy cut butterflies to bottom journal block along with a couple of metal buttons.
I hope I have inspired you to make some shadowboxes from chipboard
this year using Xyron's Creative Station.
I know I have plans to make a few more and remember you can also add photos in place of some of the journal pieces to make a more personal piece.
Hugs Pam
