Jean Pocket Hanger with Creative Scrapbooker Magazine

It is summer! 

Most crafters are getting ready for craft shows or gift giving ideas!  I want to share my jean pocket that I did for an exchange a while back. 

I the kids have out grown most of their school jeans and I know some of my family wouldn't miss a pair of jeans, lol. 

Start by cutting a pocket off a pair of old blue jeans making sure to cut through the front and back part of the pocket to keep it whole.  and then decorate them.  

Cut the zipper and buttons from the jeans; decorate the pocket. 

Add small crochet doily and gemstone swirl to front of pocket

Cut three 3" circles from the legs of the jeans to make flowers. 

The flowers are simple to make.

 Cut the each circle by beginning at the outside edge of  the circle and cut into a spiral.

 Using tweezers begin at the outside edge and rolled them up and glue to the inside base of the circle. Sprayed the prepared flowers and leaves with your favorite Dylusion Sprays; allowed them to dry.  Adhere them to my pocket over my zipper and doily using glue gun and glue sticks. 

Cut jean label off the back of jeans. 

Adhere to front of pocket. 

Cut seam from jean leg to form loop to place on the back of pocket to form tag.

Add button hole to front of pocket. 

 Fill with goodies, flowers, etc.

ColorBox Best Day Ever Tag using Blends 2

Today sharing my "Best Day Ever" mixed media tag using ColorBox Blends 2 Inks along with some fabulous ColorBox Stamps. I am super excited to created with the ColorBox Blends 2 Inks. As they say a dab will do you! That is all you will need  a dab on your craft sheet and you ColorBox Stylus and Tips, rub them into the foam tip and apply to your tag. The depth and intensity of color along with the ease of use it just so fabulous!

1.     Stamp ColorBox Branch to tag using ColorBox Clear Blends Ink. Apply ColorBox White Embossing Powder to top. Heat set. Apply ColorBox Blends 2 Hydrangea and Frog Ink to top using ColorBox Stylus and Tips.

1.      Adhere paper doily and scallop border strip to prepared tag. Apply ColorBox Hydrangea Blends 2 to top of white card stock strip. Adhere to top of scallop border.

Stamp “Best Day Ever” to white card stock using ColorBox Clear Blends Ink. Apply ColorBox White Embossing Powder to top; heat with embossing gun. Apply ColorBox Blends 2 Frog to top with ColorBox Blends Stylus and Tip. Apply ColorBox Blend 2 Hydrangea to top of white card stock using ColorBox Stylus and Tip. 

1.    Adhere both pieces together. Add to tag with pop dots.

1.      Apply ColorBox Blends 2 Hydrangea and Frog to white card stock. Stamp ColorBox Succulent to top of prepared Hydrangea paper using ColorBox Blend 2 Ebony Ink; fussy cut. Repeat using ColorBox Branch image to Frog paper; fussy cut. Add to prepared tag.

Add crinkle ribbon and gemstone to tag.

Thank You Card with ColorBox Blends

Hi ColorBox fans!!! Today I'm sharing a card using ColorBox products from Clearsnap!!! There is no better way to start the day but to create some fabulous Thank You Cards to send to friends and family! 

Apply ColorBox Bay Blends Ink to white card stock; wipe lightly damp paper towel over top to blend. Dry. 

Lay ColorBox Cobblestone Art Screen on top of prepared paper. Apply ColorBox Bay, Sunshine and Leaf Blends to top to create background paper. 

Distress edges of prepared background paper; ink edges with ColorBox Nutmeg Blends Ink. Adhere to distress green and brown card stock. Adhere to front of card base. 

Distress pattern paper; ink edges with ColorBox Nutmeg Blends Ink; adhere to card front. 

Adhere scallop border and strip to card front. 

Apply ColorBox Sunshine and Bay to white card stock; wipe with damp paper towel to blend inks together; dry. (This prepared paper is for the Thank You sentiment and butterflies.)

Stamp "Thank You" sentiment from ColorBox Big Thanks Clear Stamp Set using ColorBox Nutmeg Blends Ink. 

Deco corner punch "Thank You" sentiment and pattern papers; ink edges with ColorBox Nutmeg Blends Ink. Adhere together; place on card front with pop dots. 

Stamp two ColorBox Butterfly from the ColorBox Butterfly Clear Stamp Set to prepared paper that was created for the Thank You sentiment. 

Fussy cut butterflies. Adhere together at body; add to front of card front

. 

Add metal to body of butterfly and gemstones to card.

A Day with Dad Mini Fold Out Album with Authentique

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend celebrating the dads in your lives but everyday should be a celebration of moms, dads, family and friends. Today I am sharing a 4" x 6" Mini Fold Out Album using Authentique Mister Collection but any of Authentique Collections create fabulous albums.

Adhere pattern paper to front of mini fold out album. Mat Epherema Card to pattern papers; add to front of album with pop dots.

Adhere a small pattern paper strip to the outside 1 1/4" bind of album. Add wood chipboard filigree and knob to bind.

Page is created by adhering to pieces of paper together on 3 sides to create pocket to insert tag in. 

Create pocket with pattern paper. Decorate with border and pattern paper strip. Add small sticker to top of page with pop dot. Create small folded photo page to insert into pocket using pattern paper decorated with Epherema Card

Add tag to inside of pocket.

Decorate tag with pattern paper and border strip and stickers.

Create slide pocket with pattern paper and Epherema Card to create a place to add tag.  Add small sticker to top of page. 

Add tag behind slide pocket.

Fold out page.

Inside of fold out page is decorated with pattern papers and border strips.

Add stickers to fold out page along with pattern paper mats.

Adhere pattern paper to page. Tear pattern paper; adhere to page on 3 sides to form pocket. Add border strip to page. 

Create tags with pattern paper and Epherema Cards. Add ribbon.

Adhere pattern paper to page. Add pocket to bottom of page. Add stickers to page. 

Create small photo fold page using pattern paper and Epherema Card. Place photo fold page inside of pocket.
