Master Detective Arrow with Graphic 45

“Well my dear Graphic 45er’s who doesn’t like a good Master Detective project!  What better way but to create a project showing the way to uncovering the mystery of your creative space! I knew the 12” arrow I purchased would be just right with Graphic 45 Master Detective for my project…  plus, it would be a great addition to my studio because behind every door, underneath every piece of paper or sitting right there in front of me there is always something to be discovered. I know you will know what I am talking about since most designers are in the same situation…so have fun creating your own Master Detective project to hang in your creative space; it will be a great reminder to never stop looking around to see what you will discover, what you miss placed or what you forgot was purchase.” Pam

Photo 1: Adhere pattern paper to top of arrow.
Photo 2: Cut excess paper away with xacto knife. Sand edges.

Photo 3: Apply Boss Gloss to top of chipboard pieces; sprinkle rust embossing powder over the top. Heat set embossing powder.
Photo 4: Fussy cut two set of pattern paper images from the Master Detectives collection.

Adhere prepared chipboard to arrow along with fussy cut pieces that are layered together with pop dots.

Add metal scissors to top of arrow.

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial on how to create a Master Detective Arrow and try to make yourself a fun home d├ęcor item. Hugs Pam

Ocean is Calling ... with Authentique and Page Maps

PMU Header

Hi Authentique Fans! This month the Authentique Design Team is  pairing up with the PageMaps Design Team to share with you our take on the July PageMaps and CardMaps sketches. We loved working with the PageMaps Design Team, and thank everyone, especially Becky Fleck for this fun opportunity. Thanks also to our Design Team member Daniela Costa for her arrangement of this fun event. Today I am sharing my 8 x 11  layout using the July 2018 8 x 11 sketch.

I created a 8 1/2" x 11" sketch with my up and coming sailor using PageMaps Sketch. I put "Pam's" spin on it as I created. Love sketches they are always a jumping place to create something fun. I used two sizes of hexagon punches to create with along with adding Ephemera cards in place of the extra photos.

Slip Epherema cards under or placing a bit over photos will make your favorite photo stand out.

Add stickers using pop dots will create dimension.

Adding some of the Seafarer stickers for the "subtitles' work perfectly and don't forget to add a few of the other stickers and gemstones to continue the creative process of the sketch. Feel free to use PageMaps Sketch using your Authentique Collections! Make sure to tag us on all your social media; we love to see what everyone is creating. Thanks for stopping by! Pam

Where You Tend a Rose Card

My favorite color roses are yellow  though I have a very large rose garden that has a variety of  beautiful roses bushes and colors. I Love the smell of roses in the garden!  I suppose that is why the Secret Garden Collection is quickly become one of my favorite lines.

I love how beautiful the Epherema Cards are to use on projects! Adding a few pop dots just makes the cards explode right off the page. Fussy cutting flowers and embellishments  add that bit of extra wow factor to any card.

I love how the sheer ribbon and stick pins just give that little extra touch don't you. If you haven't tried stick pins with your projects there is always today to start experimenting with them! I hope you are inspired to find some beautiful paper, ribbon, stick pins and start creating. Hugs Pam
