Winter Wonderland Cards with Xyron and Derwent Academy


Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!
Let's create this holiday season with our favorite Xyron and Derwent Academy products!

to create my holiday card set. 


Add a few drops of water to create a wash. 


Apply wash to one sheet of 9" x 12" Derwent Academy Heavyweight - 24 Sheets Acrylic Paper using the 1/2" Derwent Academy Artist Brush to create background paper.  Dry. 


Spatter with Derwent Academy Titanium White, Scarlet and Black Acrylic Paints to finish background paper. Dry. 


Die cut prepared background paper using the Sizzix Deckle Die. 
Stamp background stamp to top of prepared die cut using Derwent Academy Burnt Sienna Acrylic Paint; dry. 



Adhere pattern paper and prepared background paper to top of 4" x 5 1/2" card base using Xyron Tape Runner with Permanent Adhesive. 






Die cut Sizzix Vintage Tidings from Graphic 45 Winter Wonderland pattern paper and brown card stock. 


Adhere sentiments to prepared front of card bases.


Fussy cut prepared poinsettia flowers from paper; form with tweezers. 
Add to front of card front along with a twine bow, chipboard circle and gemstones.
