Live Learn Hope Valentine Card with Tutorial

Learn, Live and Hope is such a fabulous inspirational message!!! It just inspires love and dreams! I can't help but to share the love as we go into Feb and seeing all the Valentine inspiration that is already being shared.

Today I created a Valentine inspired card using the stamps from Blank Page Muse. I began my card by painting a piece of white card stock using DecoArt Media paints.

Because my stamps are unmounted I thought i would run them through my Xyron 3" Disposable Sticker Maker to see if they would fit and work on a stamp block. I AM SO EXCITED TO SHARE...THEY WORK PERFECTLY!!!! Once you are done stamping, remove them from the stamp block and place back on the adhesive sheet. Place in small plastic bag or other stamp container.

Place stamps on stamp block and stamp card stock with Fired Brick Distress Ink.

Cut painted card stock down to fit on stamped background card stock. Stamp background image on top.

Die cut Trifecta pieces from white card stock; emboss with Emerald Creek Supplies Embossing Powder.
(To create the embossed layers ... apply Boss Gloss or Embossing Ink over top of each die cut, sprinkle a bit of each embossing powder to the top and heat with embossing gun. Repeat as necessary to achieve the layers of embossed look.)

Adhere distress red card stock; stamped background pieces and embossed cut out to top of card base.
Spatter with white and black paint.

Stamp heart and butterflies on card stock using Archival ink.

Color fussy cut images out with Distress Markers.

Layer butterflies together at bodies; tip wings up and add to front of card.

Add stamped sentiment to front of card with pop dots.

Adhere chipboard to card front. Layer hearts together and place on front of card with pop dots. Add bow.

Add a second prepared butterfly to top of card.

I hope you are inspired to check out all of Blank Page Muse Stamps to create your Valentine cards and projects with. Pam

Live and Love Layout with Graphic 45

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of the Graphic 45 Design Team. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more here.

"Life and love are very precious! I see this as a parent, I see this as a grandparent as I watch my own children guide and encourage their children. Sometimes paper collections just speak to the soul when you are creating and I must confess that is what happen when I saw Graphic 45 Little Women paper collection. As individuals we grow each day...sometimes it is because of those that come in to our everyday path, sometimes it comes from our circumstances and sometimes it is because it is just time to grow. So be brave, be of good courage and grow with love and life." Pam

Begin by fussy cutting around the image of the pattern paper and adhering it to a background piece of the Little Women Collection. Die cut scallop circle; adhere under the edge of the fussy cut piece.

Add photo to center of scallop circle.

Adhere “Life and Love” Epherema Card and “Little Women” to top of layout.

Cut top from tag; adhere to top of “Little Women” Epherema card. Add knob to tag.

 Add Door Plate to layout.

Fussy cut like images from pattern paper; add to front of layout with pop dots. Add small flowers to layout.

Add Key to front of layout.

Fussy cut flower image from pattern paper; add to layout with pop dots. Add a more punched out flowers randomly around layout.

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of the Authentique Design Team. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more here.

Happy almost Valentines Day to all of our Authentique Fans! Are you starting to create those special candy treats for your favorite peeps!

Today I am sharing 2 easy to create Valentine projects that will have some sweet treats inside.

For my "Forever and Always" fold candy card you begin by scoring a piece of white card stock at 5" x 10 3/8" at the 5" and 5 3/8" marks; fold on seams.   Then adhere a piece of 3" x 10 3/8" white card stock that has been scored at the 5" and 5 3/8" marks. Punch slot for ribbon.

Decorate the inside with paper doilies and border strips.

Die cut small pattern paper doilies from paper pad; adhere to inside of prepared card. Add fussy cut Epherema image to inside of card.

Add fussy cut hearts and flowers to inside of card. Punch slot again. Add enamel dots to card.

Add gemstones to border.

Wrap three small candy bards with pattern paper; adhere to flap of card. Add small fussy cut flowers to top of each candy bar. Fold the 3" flap over and decorate the outside of flap

Decorate with pattern paper leaving the top bar code in place. Add border strips to card flap along with die cut doily and stickers from the Sweetheart Detail sheet.

Tie flaps together with ribbon. Add sticker banner to flap along with fussy cut flower.

I hope you enjoy the tutorial on the Flap Over Card and make some sweet treats this Valentine or for other special occasions.

My Second Valentine project is a small box that I did cut out and decorated with Authentique Sweetheart Collection. (Any small box will work.)

Add small borders to the front and fussy cut hearts from the Sweetheart Collection; place one on with pop dots to create drawer pull.

Add a rosette to top of box along with a sticker from the Authentique Detail Sheet.
