Exotic Card with CSW Distributors

Today I am sharing with you the Exotic Embossing Folder with the Intricutz Connexion Die to make a perfect Exotic Card....
I started by embossing white card stock with the Exotic Embossing Folder and using Wild Honey Distress Ink and a dauber I light brushed over the raised image to help it match the sunflowers from my pattern paper. Love distress inks, they always give that added texture to your project.
Here is closer look at the dimension of my Exotic Card, love all the layers but just love how the embossing folder comes to life with the pattern papers and the leaves from the Connexion Die just makes the card look complete. I hope you try using some different inks with your embossing folders and see the amazing looks you will achieve. Hugs Pammejo

Thanks Card with Couture Creation

My post today will be my last post as a design team member for Couture Creations, though I will have an opportunity later on in the next term to do a guest spot.  I want to say thank you for giving me an opportunity to make lovely projects using Couture Creations products and that they were shared on the Couture Creations Blog as well as on other medias and of course my blog. I remember my first post where I declared their genius over the slit in the center of the embossing folder and I can still say with a happy heart I still think it is a genius idea and love it. I love the depth that the folders give each time I use them, so today I want to share the Loren Embossing Folder....
I started by first running my yellow gingham printed paper through my die cut machine using the Loren Embossing Folder.
I sanded the embossed paper lightly with my Couture Creations Sanding Block and then placed it on my card front with Double Sided Tape.
Stamping my Thanks imagine onto my file card before placing it to the front of my card using Couture Creations Foam Mounting Tape. I added a brown twine string around the top of my file card and placed my black card stock key that I cut out of using the Key to My Heart Die from Couture Creations.
I hope you enjoyed my Thanks Card and look forward to seeing what the new team will be creating to inspire with. Hugs Pammejo

Craft Hoarders Anonymous Craft Challenge #4 - Show Some Sparkle, Glitz, or Glam!

Graphic 45 is our sponsor this month. They are known for their fabulous vintage products and papers. To pay homage to their glamour and style we were to create a  project that shows off your hoarded sparkly items. Pump up the glam by using our inspiration photo ( http://blog.potterybarn.com/)
I used Graphic 45 Ladies Diary and Sizzix Notebook Pocket Die to create my project with along with some bling, baubles, flowers, ribbon, oh my.....
I added several tags to the inside of the box, along with some ribbon ties so they will be easier to remove from the box...I plan on putting some of my favorite Bible verses on them, great way to start the day but remembering God's Word.
I just love this saying that is on one of the border strips and just felt it would go perfectly with my Scripture Box. I added a piece of Tim Holtz film strip along with a vintage watch part I have been hoarding for some time now....doesn't it fit wonderfully on the box.
I fussy cut my lady out from two pieces of the same papers so I could layer them together, I just love the depth of textures and Graphic 45 never fails in that vintage look. Game Day Mini Album with WRMK Card Punch 3x4

I made this funny little mini album this weekend for my grandson....it was his and grandpa first time to go see the Memphis Tigers play football at Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium....and what a fun collection to be able to use....what can I say Game Day from We R Memory Keepers is awesome....best part is that it is not just football but the collection also has baseball, soccer and basketball papers and embellishments....FABULOUS!!!!
There are a lot of pages and pieces to my book so just enjoy scrolling through them...I will point out that I used the WRMK Card Punch 3x4 that you use for your Easy Pages to make my mats for my photos....
Loved all the Game Day Albums Made Easy Card Set pieces that come with the collection...how fun it is to be able to use them in many different ways....
My letters are from Quickutz Lemondrop 4x4 Alphabet die....
"I am Tiger Hear Me Roar" is placed on a punched paper from the Card Punch....
I made a tag from the Card Punch to slide into one of the WRMK Kraft envelopes, added a bit of WRMK twine around it to give it some dimension.
Love making fun, hideaway pockets to place the extra tags and photos in.....
WRMK has amazing Embossed Die Cuts that go with the Game Day Collection....
I added some of the Embossed Stickers to my book with pop dots....
Just love all how the Game Day Albums Made Easy Card Pieces make such interesting pages, don't yo...
Here is the last of page of my book, hope you enjoyed it and try making your own mini albums using the Card Punch 3x4 and Albums Made Easy Card Pieces from the Game Day Collection.
Of course I couldn't just stop there but wanted to share some of the tags....
and a picture of the  WRMK Card Punch...super easy to use....

Secret Garden Layout wth Crafters Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog

Today on the Craft Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog the challenge is all about Vintage/Retro. I created my layout using Graphic 45 Secret Garden, love their papers and staples because they just scream Vintage/Retro to me. Also, our host for the month of March is Graphic 45. Graphic 45 is an award-winning scrapbook and paper crafting company— owned and operated by a mother (Diane Schultz) and her two daughters (Aimee and Charee Filimoehala). Together they create vintage inspired crafting products that capture the flamboyant style of the 1920's and 30's - with vibrant color, irresistible texture and imaginative design to create products with decades-old appeal that's both fresh and familiar. Let our products inspire your next scrapbook layout, card, album or home decor project. Please visit the Graphic 45 Website or Facebook page and thank them for hosting our blog for the month of March. So let's see what you can make in a vintage or retro style.
A few of the things I hoard is flowers, lace and metals. I thought they would work wonderful on Graphic 45 Secret Garden layout, so I used a lot of flowers, a small Secret Garden journal die cut that will slip into the pocket folder, ove that idea because it is like having a bit of a "secret" on my page and a bit of metal. The lace is pretty old, I bought it at an antique mall and have been hoarding it for a special project and finally, finally used 12" of it, lol.
Here is another little tag and a few more flowers along with bling from Want2Scrap.
I made a banner from some of the Secret Garden Die cuts, fussy cut lilac banners, a photo, added a frame from K&Company and couple of other metals. If you click on the photo you will be able to see that I hand stitched my banner to the top of my page.
So do you hoard lace or vintage hat pins? Do you snap up all the postcards at yard sales? Do you love mid-century modern? Do you long for avocado appliances and orange shag carpets? Show your vintage or retro spin on a paper crafting project and play along with us at the Challenge Hoarders Anonymous Challenge Blog
Graphic 45 is giving us this wonderful prize package to give to our winner of Challenge #3, so get your Vintage/Retro projects loaded into CHACB Blog for a chance to be selected.
