The Love of Family with My Minds Eye

I went to CKC this last weekend with a good friend. We took a wonderful My Minds Eye Class together with a great institutor. This is the fabulous layout with made in class. I just had to share it with you because it is so pretty.
This layout though is the one I created to go along with it, I think it turned out pretty fabulous myself. :) I bought the companion papers to go along with the 4 layouts we did but of course I have to take my own spin on the projects. BUT this was my favorite part ,,,,,,
CREPE FLOWERS!!!!! Isn't it beautiful. You have to use a Gluber or a really large pop dot, cut you a 1/2" strip of crepe paper, stretch it out and start going around the outside of the gluber/large glue dots. Once you have this done, ink it, wrinkle it and spray it with your favorite glitter mist. Allow it to dry and then apply it to your project. FABULOUS!!!! is all I can say. Try it and don't hesitate to ask me any questions if you can't figure it out. Hugs Pammejo

Ladies Diary Card with Graphic 45

Ladies Diary Card  is so elegant!!! It is made from the Graphic 45 Collection. I added some tulle under the Ladies Diary die cut to help soften the look of the green background, it always gives a soft look to your cards.
Don't you just love Tim Holtz metals, chain tassel, baubles and facets. I know I do so I just had to add some to my card to keep up with the vintage feel of my project. I use Glossy Accent on the back of my facet and then just place it over my picture. Allow it to dry before you cut it out or it will slip on you. Place it to the front of your card after you have placed your baubles on with jump rings and make sure to add your chain tassel to the bottom. Hugs Pammejo

Smile Like You Mean It Card

SMILE!!!! I know how much we all love to laugh and have a good time but there are times.... I know at least speaking for myself there are times when I smile and I really don't mean it. I just want to be pleasant and so I force myself. The card I made today is a wonderful reminder to me and I hope to you to always enjoy the moment, the day, the event....and to SMILE like you mean it. Life is entirely to short not to. :) So let this be a day of inspiration and smiles!!!! Know that some one cares and that we are all loved even when we don't feel like it.
My card is made with using Basic Grey PB&J papers, die cuts and stick pins. Don't you love the stick pins I know that they make me smile. :) I placed my die cut on with pop dots added my red gingham ribbon and those wonderful stick pins to create a dimension to my card. I hope that this makes you smile and know that you are cared about. Hugs Pammejo

Friend Card with Graphic 45 Ladies Diary

I love the Graphic 45 Ladies Diary, it just so vintage!!!! I made a Friend Card today using the collection. After I added my inked  paper pieces to the front of my card I then added some fun ribbon from American Craft. I added a couple of the Tim Holtz staples to help hold the Maya Road White Tulle ribbon into place. I added my stamped piece to the front on the card using pop dots.
Have you seen these fabulous frames from Prima. They come in white but I stained this one using my Tim Holtz stains and allow it to dry before you place it over your picture. Once it was dried I then glued it on my sentiment piece. I hope you try your stains on some of your light colored pieces to change up the look of your projects. Hugs Pammejo

Thank You Card - Graphic 45

Hard to believe that school has been in session for almost 3 weeks. I decided I needed to make a few thank you cards for some of my favorite teachers. I hope you enjoy this one I made using Graphic 45 ABC Primer Collection. I placed the die cut on pop dots once I corner rounded and inked the edges of it with Chestnut Roan ink from Color Box. Make sure to tie your ribbon around the die cut before placing it on the pop dots. My "Thank You" sentiment is from SRM Stickers, they are super fast way to add a sentiment to you project. I hope you take time this year to send your favorite teachers a card or a gift to acknowledge all of their hard work that they do through out the school year. It is never to early to start. Think Happy Card with Basic Grey

Do you ever wonder what happens to the days, weeks and months. I know I do, it seems like holidays and birthdays just creep up on me and before I know it and then I am scrambling trying to get a card  made to send out. Well that is what has happen this week. I made this card so I would be able to send it out to a friend for their birthday and thought I would share it with you today. I used Basic Grey PB& J papers, die cuts and stick pins for my card. I love the
"Think Happy" die cut because who shouldn't have happy thoughts when it is your birthday. I placed the die cut on pop dots along with the circle die cut after I had all of my inked paper pieces in place.
I added a few extra of the die cuts to my card along with twine and a clasp to help give the card some dimension.  I wrote Happy Birthday with a black Le Pen since I didn't have a sentiment small enough to go on the tag. Remember it is okay to use your own handwriting in a pinch to finish off your project. I hope you are inspired by my card and I am letting you know I am Thinking Happy thoughts about everyone today. Hugs Pammejo

Happy Birthday Card - Bo Bunny Timepiece

Today I am sharing with you a card I made using the Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Frames 3 Die and Bo Bunny Timepiece paper pad. I placed my card base on my die cut machine and cut the frame out of the front of the card and then repeated it with a piece of the paper pad. I lined up and adhered the piece over the opening of the card front. Cut it down to fit the card base. I added a cordinating piece to the inside of the card and stamped my Happy Birthday image. My Kaisercraft Birdhouse was stained using Fire Brick Distress Stain, tied a brown twine bow to the top and add a Tim Holtz Clock Face and Gamer Piece to the top of the Birdhouse. Place it to the front of your card. I  placed a few gears on my card to make sure it had a masculine look since I was sending it to my son. I hope this encourages you to try making cards that have die cuts used in them. Hugs Pammejo
