Together Forever Card with Carta Bella Paris Girl

 June is the month for weddings or at least it is in our family...so I thought I would start out the month of June with an easy wedding card. It would be great to give to your significant other or to add to a wedding gift. 

I began by adding two strips of Carta Bella Paris Girl paper to the top of my card, added a small border I punched using an EK Success Scallop Border Punch over the edge that joined them together.

 Cut two mats from the same paper...corner punch the corners with the WeR Memory Keepers Scallop Corner Chomper. Place them together with your Xyron Adhesive Runner and place to front of card with pop dots. Add sentiment from the Carta Bella Paris Girl Sticker Sheet to center of matted pieces with pop dots.

Add a beautiful bow, some stick pins and small bling to the front of the scallop border. Wall La...you have made a super easy, yet beautiful card. Hope you enjoy and try making a few fun and easy cards this week to celebrate weddings. Hugs Pammejo

Thinking Of You Card - Color Palette

Oh my, I so love today color palette that we are using on Scrapbook News and Review, GORGEOUS!!!! is all I can say.  I love the black/green color palette and how it plays off the white; don't you? I used Teresa Collins Carolina and Fabrication papers to create my card along with a sentiment stamp from Hero Arts Message stamp set.

 Here is the fabulous inspiration photo we were able to be inspired by.

I love the little flowers in the bowl, so I had to recreate it by punching several from a flower punch that I had from EK Success. I rolled each with my McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Set and Molding Mat to get some dimension from the flat flowers and added some gemstones to the centers of each flower. Well, I hope I inspired you to play along with us today and create something beautiful. Hugs Pammejo

Blueprint Tree Christmas Tag

Having fun making my tags this year using Stampers Anonymous Blueprint Christmas Stamps. I stained my tag with Tarnished Brass and Fired Brick Distress Stains, it gives a great metallic shine to the tag base. I stamped my tree blueprint to the tag once it was dried. I stamped a second image on a piece of watercolor paper and colored the image in with my distress markers and water pen. Fussy cut all of the pieces on and placed them on pop dots. I put a bit of Glossy Accent on each of the small ornaments to give it a bit more dimension.

I added some washi tape from My Minds Eye and a scalloped border I punched from my Kraft Core'dinations paper using EK Success Flower Border Punch. After I got the borders on the tag I had to use my tiny attacher to place a few staples here and there. Last, I added a Tim Holtz Metal Christmas Deer, #25, Christmas Tinsel and Wrinkle Ribbon I stained. I sure hope you try some of the blueprint stamps and see how easy they are to use. Hugs Pammejo

Monchromatic Pointsettia Card

Do you ever surf the internet, blogs, facebook, etc I know I do. A few weeks ago I seen a card done in monochromatic  hues of white. I thought it was so pretty and thought I would have to make a card using the hues of white. I border punched the front bottom of my card base out using EK Success Abstract border punch. I cut two pieces of paper to fit the front of my card, punching one with the same border punch I had previously used. I then embossed both pieces using  snowflake embossing folders from Sizzix and Lifestyle Crafts. Once done I placed them on the front of my card.

  

I made a beautiful poinsettia using McGills flower punch, tool set and mat. Once all of my flower pieces were rolled and formed I painted them with Glimmer Glaze. The Glimmer Glaze will help make them firm and hold their shapes. I allowed each piece to dry completely before I placed them together to form my flower.

I placed the poinsettia on the card front once my eyelet lace was on my card. I love SRM Sticker and the Season's Greetings! gives my monochromatic card just the right amount of color along with the red twine bow. The stick pins just gave my card the final touch that it need. Toil and Trouble Layout/Sketch using Echo Park Chillingsworth

I found a fabulous layout that was being shared over at Paper Patch Crafts and decided I just had to do it. Here is my take on the sketch, I used Echo Park Chillingsworth Paper collection and it cacam together very quick and easy. I added a border piece of paper that I punched using an EK Success Border Punch.

I love paper collection because all of your papers and more importantly the embellishments are in the pack. I like to place some of the sticker on pop dots and to keep them from folding over I use my static bag for my embossing to make the sticker not a sticker.  
Hint: place your pop dots on your sticker, don't remove the paper from the stop side of pop dot and rub your static bag over the sticker, this will cover up the adhesive on the sticker

Follow Your Dreams Card

Do you follow your dreams, goals, aspirations??? That is a deep question that I ask myself occasionally. So when I seen this die cut from We R Memory Keepers it was a soft reminder to always go forward with your dreams. I used the We R Memory Keepers Antique Chic papers that went with the die to make my card. The border is punched from an EK Success Scallop Border punch. The metal flowers are also part of the collection, they are made of a soft metal so you are able to manipulate them with a pair of pliers to bend the petals a bit. I think it gives the card great dimension. I hope this inspires you to always Follow Your Dreams. Hugs Pammejo

Thinking of You Card with My Minds Eye/Prima Flowers

It seems like the last few days several of my friends/acquaintances have been hurting spiritually or been ill or have lost someone that they love. Then to top that we are remembering 9/11 and all that was lost there. I have to remind myself that God holds us in the palm of His hands and that our lives are in his will - with that being in mind  I made a couple of Thinking of You cards to send out this week using My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing Paper Pad,  paper doilies and Prima flowers and stick pins. My "Thinking of You" is a Hero Arts Message stamp and I love the Inch Punch from EK Success that I laced my sheer ribbon through.
Even during difficult times paper crafting can still be away of making me smile. I hope you have a blessed day. Hugs Pammejo

Thank You Card - Bo Bunny Timepiece

Wow I can't believe how long it has been since I posted a project but I did make a Thank You card a few weeks ago to send to a good friend. I made it using Bo Bunny Timepiece papers and Chestnut Roan ink to distress with. My boarded it made using the EK Success Abstract Border Punch, I must say it is fast becoming one of my favorites. I wrapped my Lifestyle Nesting Frames that I stamped with some tan twine and placed it on pop dots. Added some Graphic 45 Chipboard buttons and a fabulous burlap rose flower from Maya Road to the front of my card. (Don't you just love it). We R Memory Keepers Boardwalk Cards

 Have you ever noticed all of the fabulous die cuts that a lot of companies make to go with their paper collections. Well... I came across these from We R Memory Keepers Down the Boardwalk and thought they had the perfect sentiments do some pretty amazing cards. "A Little Birdie Told Me... Card"  is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. I corner rounded the bottom of the card because I thought it went perfectly with the EK Success Diamond Lace Border Punch that I used. I inked the edges with Chestnut Roan Ink and added a small GCD Brad to the upper left corner along with some brown satin ribbon.

 My "Love U So Much Card" is distressed using the Tim Holtz Distress Tool and the edges are all inked with the ColorBox Chestnut Roan ink. I also used Tea Dye Stain and stained the eyelet ribbon before I placed it and the brown satin ribbon around my card. I added some bling to the die cut along with a Making Memories pin and antique heart to my card front.

"Don't Forget Your Flip Flops Card" is made by adding the die cut to the front of the card base. I love to fussy cut ant to get my tiny pieces on to the pop dots I first placed the paper on pop dots and then fussy cut them out. Don't know how I why I hadn't thought of this before, it sure made it easy to place them on pop dots. I hope you try it out the next time you are doing some very small fussy cut items. Hugs Pammejo

Carta Bella Paper - Beautiful Moments Project Challenge

Have you heard there is a new paper company in town. Yep that is right it is Carta Bella Paper and the best thing is it is a sister company of Echo Park. Well, Carta Bella Papers is having a contest using the Beautiful Moments Collection that will end on July 23rd,  you can upload layouts, cards or altered work to their facebook account. How fun is that

I made three cards using the 6x6 paper pad. It is filled with pink, yellow, chocolate and burgundy pappers and so easy to make cards with as you can see with my first card.

 On my second card I got a bit bravery by making a pinwheel and adding a sticker from SRM Stickers.

And for my last I made these fabulous banners and added cute little dimensional flowers using the EK Success Mini Flower Punch. My Thank You Sentiment on this card is an Inkadinkado Stamp and Black Color Box Ink. Don't forget to check out their site and check out the new lines that will be release at CHA. Echo Park "Note To Self" - Happy Birthday Card

 When I saw the die cut "To Make A Long Story Short", I had  my inspiration for my son-in-laws birthday card. He turned 32 this week, I thought it was just a perfect way just to tell him "Happy Birthday". I used the Echo Park Note To Self papers (Stripes, Inventory, Stamps, Quotes and Element Sticker Sheet) for my card.

I distressed all of my pieced with my Tim Holtz Distressing Tool, inked them with ColorBox Chestnut Roan ink and added them to the front of my card.  I stapled some of the pieces with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. My "Happy Birthday" sentiment is from the Hero Arts Message stamp set that I embossed with VersaMark and Zing Chestnut Roan ink onto an oval I punched from the EK Scalloped Oval Frame Punch. I placed it and my "3" and "2 "cut outs on pop dots. I also added a fabulous Vintaj Metal Star to the front of the card. I hope you my son-in-law likes his birthday card and that you were inspired to look at the die cuts on your pages for inspiration. Hugs Pammejo

Smile/BeeHappy Cards using Teresa Collins

Well do you like fast and simple but clean and elegant? That is exactly what I created today to share with you. I use Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze to make both of my cards. On the first card I fussy cut the grey scallop paper and added to the top of a piece of grey paper. I then corner chomped the top of the card with the EK Success Deco corner chomper and placed it to the card front once I had stamped my "Smile Celebrate This Life" from Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards stamp set and tied a yellow sheer ribbon around the paper. The large flower is actually from Jolees', They come in a 4 pack and are also fabulous for spraying Glimmer Mist, Mr Hueys, Perfect Pearls, Smooh Spritzers or other sprays on.

My second card is made by adding papers to my card base, making a flag that would fit over the middle seam line. I punched out an oval by using the EK Success Oval Scallop Punch and a sticker from the SRM Happy Sentiment Sheet. The oval was placed on pop dots and I added a small yellow sheer bow to the front of the card. I don't know about you but some times I just enjoy making clean and simple cards. Hugs Pammejo

You're a Hoot Card with We R Memory Keepers

It is definitely time to get all that Thanksgiving inspiration flowing and I have been making Thanksgiving cards. My first card is made from the We R Memory Keepers Autumn Splendor and Sunset Paper. I placed my paper on my card base after I inked the pieces with Chestnut Roan Ink and corner rounded the bottoms of my card base. I added my tag, owl and sentiment after I had used my Tim Holtz Distress Tool and Chestnut Roan ink. I added a few staples from my Tim Holtz Stapler and added my You're A Hoot sentiment on pop dots after I wrapped my tan twine around my card.

My second card is made with Pink Paislee Amber Road Harvest Hayride, it is amazing how well these paper collections go together. I used my EK Abstract Flower Punch and did my border out of the rust card stock and the Harvest Hayride paper. I made sure once again to ink all of my edges with Chestnut Roan Ink before I placed them on my card base. I then added Imaginisce"Happy Fall" sticker up on pop dots and to finish my card I added a few clear gemstones to the border. I hope you are inspired to start your Thanksgiving cards and decorations.

13 Days of Halloween Day Five - Oct 19-31

Welcome to the Day Seven of the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop, for my Halloween project of the day is this lovely card made with Authentique Glowing 6 x 6 Paper Pack. I am so glad if you stopped by today and I would encourage you to join us in the hop by going to Lisa's Scrapping with Lisa Blog to start the hop. I placed my papers to my card base after I inked each piece and placing a piece of black cardstock behind the piece that I punched out using my EK Plaid Punch.
Here is a side view that I added a piece of the border to the inside of the card. I cut triangles out of a piece of the paper and placed it at the top of my card and added some black bling in between the flags. I also added a SRM Halloween Sticker and placed it on pop dots. Happy Birthday Card with Doodlebug Designs

Well this is my birthday month so I thought I would start with a card that I made recently for a birthday card swap that I was involved with. I used the Unity Stamps August Kit for my cupcake image and colored it in with my Copic Markers: YG05,C1,R22,RV04,BV01,R27,R29,YR31,BO2,G14,R17 and BV04. My paper is Doodlebug Nifty Notions and Petite Prints along with Bo Bunny Wassabi Dot. I used Kaisercraft Birthday Rub Ons for my sentiment.

I punched my white, pink, and green mats using the EK Success Deco Corner Chomper and the Deco Scallop on my Doodlebug Daisy Stripe. I placed the stamped image on some pop dots to add dimension as well as adding a tab that I cut out using the Quickutz Recipe tab and my Big Shot. Don't you just love adding dimension to your cards...

Stella Rose Papaer Bag Book

Today I am featuring a paper bag book. All you need to make it is 3 paper bags, a pad of the My Minds Eye Stella Rose Hattie Paper Pak and 2 jump rings. Well as we scroll down you will see the products that I used but really you can use anything.
You start your book by taking 3 lunch size bags and fold them in half. Take each bag and reverse each so that the bottom of the bags aren't all on one side. Punch your holes about 1/2" down from the top and up from the bottom. I then inked all of my edges of my bag along with all of my paper pieces that I distressed with the Tim Holtz Distress Tool with Chestnut Roan ink.
My rosette is done with a pair of tweezers and a circle that I tore into a circle. My circle for the largest one was about 3" and tear into a spiral. Start from the outside edge and twist it around your tweezers until you get to the inside center of the circle and glue the to the center. Once the rosette is dry ink the edges with your Chestnut Roan ink.

Here is a little closer look at the the cover of the book. My leaves are teardrop shapes that I randomly drew on my paper, crinkled them up, shaped and inked them and glued them onto the page. The stamped piece is using a Stampers Anonymous Papillion stamp. I also added a few staples to my page to add some more character.

The first and second pages, on the second page I used the EK Success Abstract Edger Punch, on the second page I added a fabulous flower to the bottom edge of the page.
Here is a closer look at the flower. It is two different size circles, distressed with the Tim Holtz Distress Tool, crinkled up, inked and some Glimmer Glaze Fine Glitter Paint placed on it. Once everything was dried I layered the two circles together with a Glue Dot, added a button and placed on my page.

Here is one of three tags that fit into the paper bag. I just added a circle tab and button to make it easier to pull out.

Here is a closer look at the stamp sentiment I used, it is from Unity Flirty Flowers Stamp Set, remember you can use any stamp that you would like.

Pages 5 and 6. My punch is the EK Success Swiss Cheese Edger.

Pages 7 and 8 I fussy cut around all of the small circles to form a scallop look but when I glued them to my page I only placed my adhesive on three sides that way I will be able to slide my photo under the border when I get ready to place them down.
Again here is another page insert and I added a Tim Holtz paper clip to the tab.
