Day 23 - Gingerbread Holiday Decor Box


Day 23 - Stay Cozy because today is perfect as we are winding down for Christmas Day! 
Still need a fast and easy holiday gift.
Think about creating boxes using Sizzix Treasure Box Die or other boxes as home decor pieces wrapped in Carta Bella Winter Market pattern papers and stickers or other of your favorite collections. 


Add small knobs to the bottom of box to create hieght. 
Give dimension by using pop dots under stickers and using the covered chipboard as a top band. 


Create an accordion fold pattern paper to create a fan for the back of panel of the box, adhere to inside of box. 
Add a fun painted gingerbread or find some other fun item to place in your box. 


Fill with floral picks, metal bells, pinecones and beautiful bows. 
Enjoy creating easy and fun home decor pieces throughout the year!

I Live for Autumn Days Candle Holder with Xyron

Hi Everyone!!!
I am so glad you stopped by today to see what I am up too!
This week the Xyron Design Team is sharing FALL projects!!!
I am sure you will be inspired!!!!


Begin by running strips of the Hello Fall pattern paper through the Creative Station using Permanent Adhesive.


Cover 2 3/4" by 10" box with prepared pattern paper.


Photo 1: Remove 9" Permanent Adhesive from Creative Station; lift green bar that inside of machine.
Photo 2: Place 5" Permanent Adhesive inside. Close lid.


Photo 3: Run chipboard frame through Xyron Creative Station.
Photo 4: Remove chipboard from adhesive sheet and place Emerald Creek Thanksgiving Embossing Powder to top; heat set embossing powder with embossing gun.


Add sticker to front of prepared box.


Adhere sticker to back of prepared embossed frame.
Add stickers to front of prepared box with pop dots.


Adhere bow to top of box along with floral picks.


Create a belly band strip to place around the small votive candle using pattern paper,
Xyron Creative Station. Place around votive cup.
Glue to small metal tin.


Add more floral picks around candle.

Valentine Cards with Lynda Kanase Dies


Do you ever watch Facebook Live?
WELL...here is a reason you need to START!!!
A few weeks ago I happen to catch Lynda Kanase doing a live Facebook sharing her newest dies...
Guess What...she did a giveaway...
All her audience had to do was answer a question that was asked...
CAN YOU GUESS WHO THE WINNER WAS!!!
YEPPERS...
IT WAS ME!!!
WOOT WOOT!!!
I WON LYNDA KANASE PLANNER DIES!!!


I decided right away that I was going to use them on some card fronts...
AND...
They worked perfectly for some of my Valentine Cards. 


The Photo Banner Die is perfect for the front of your card; it also is a great way to deconstruct after Valentines to add the frame to your daily planner.  


The Butterfly and Flower Clips are the best embellishments also for your cards!!!


I finished both of my cards by making pretty bows; adhering them to the front of the Valentine Cards along with the flower dies that come in the sets. 


My "Kiss Me" Card I added a doily die cut under the Photo Frame die cut. 


Add another fun heart planner clip to the top of the photo frame. 


Die cut the flowers and leaves from the Photo Banner Die. 
Shape the each of the pieces with a stylus and tweezers; layering them together. 
Add a small clear gemstone to the center of each flower. 


Here is a closer look at each of the planner clips that can be removed and used in your planners after Valentines Day.

These planner clips would make fun gifts to give to your favorite Valentines.

Love Hanger with Craftwell

 Happy Wednesday!!!
I am sharing on the Craftwell Blog today!!
Sharing with you some "Love"
AND....
I am sure you will LOVE them both!!!
Begin by first painting the edges and a bit of the back of a 6" x "6 frame. 
I know you are thinking "back of a frame"...
Yep!!! We will be covering the back of a frame today. 
Die cut the "Heart die" from Pink Core'dinations card stock.
Die Cut the "Love die" from a piece of pattern paper. 
(Remember you can cut them both out at the same time...
that is what is so amazing about the Craftwell Cut N Boss!!!)
Use the D platform, metal shim, B plate and two A plates with your dies and Craftwell Cut N Boss.
Emboss the die cut heart and a square of Pink Core'dinations card stock 
using the Love Embossing Folder with the D platform and two A plates. 
 Lightly sand the Love embossed square with sanding block.
Adhere to top of pattern paper that has been placed on painted frame.
 Add pretty border pattern pieces of pattern paper to top of embossed piece. 
Leaving some of the embossed words exposed.
 Adhere die cut heart to top of black card stock.
Fussy cut around the heart.
Place on front of prepared frame.
Add embossed heart that has been lightly sanded to top of die cut heart with pop dots.
 Adhere "Love" die cut to top of black card stock.
Fussy cut around frame word.
Add to top of prepared frame with pop dots.
Add enamel dot to center of "O".
 Paint diamond chipboard with black chalk paint.
Allow to dry completely.
Adhere to back of prepared frame.
 Die cut several of the Heart Borders for the Create A Beautiful Life Pocket Die Set. 
Adhere to top of prepared diamond chipboard...using different pattern paper hearts to top.
Add a few of the heart to top with pop dots for added dimension.
Place left over hearts to the front of the frame. 
Add wire hanger to top of prepared frame.
 Add metallic brass brads to top of prepared frame.
Place a pretty bow to top of hanger to finish your Love Hanger

Home Sweet Home Recipe Box with Xyron


Recipe boxes are such a nice addition to your kitchen or to give as a gift.
Having family favorites are so wonderful. 
So keeping recipes fresh and clean are important and can easily be achieved by using the Xyron Creative Station with the Laminate Cartridge.
 Gather your paper, recipe box and paint together. 
Paint box and cut paper to sizes for outside of box.

Ink edges of all pattern paper, run through the Xyron Creative Station using the 9" Permanent Adhesive. Place on recipe box.
Cut strips to place on the recipe box. 
Place on recipe box.

 Decorate front with journal pieces from pattern paper.
 Decorate the top of recipe box with random letters, flowers and metal silverware.
Write recipes on card, run through the Xyron Creative Station using the Laminate Cartridge. 
   Repeat with all of your Family Recipes...you will love having them protected using the Laminate Cartridge.
So as we begin 2016 you will have time to gather some of your Family Favorites up and create a special recipe box for someone special using you Xyron Creative Station!!!!
