We R Memory Keepers Boardwalk Cards

Have you ever noticed all of the fabulous die cuts that a lot of companies make to go with their paper collections. Well... I came across these from We R Memory Keepers Down the Boardwalk and thought they had the perfect sentiments do some pretty amazing cards. "A Little Birdie Told Me... Card"  is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card. I corner rounded the bottom of the card because I thought it went perfectly with the EK Success Diamond Lace Border Punch that I used. I inked the edges with Chestnut Roan Ink and added a small GCD Brad to the upper left corner along with some brown satin ribbon.
My "Love U So Much Card" is distressed using the Tim Holtz Distress Tool and the edges are all inked with the ColorBox Chestnut Roan ink. I also used Tea Dye Stain and stained the eyelet ribbon before I placed it and the brown satin ribbon around my card. I added some bling to the die cut along with a Making Memories pin and antique heart to my card front.
"Don't Forget Your Flip Flops Card" is made by adding the die cut to the front of the card base. I love to fussy cut ant to get my tiny pieces on to the pop dots I first placed the paper on pop dots and then fussy cut them out. Don't know how I why I hadn't thought of this before, it sure made it easy to place them on pop dots. I hope you try it out the next time you are doing some very small fussy cut items. Hugs Pammejo

CHA with Sizzix - Up, Up and Away Book

Well today I am please and super excited to share with you a book that I made using the Sizzix Album, Photo Die that my friend Eileen Hull designed. Eileen is a licensed artist/designer for Sizzix and was so kind to send me a couple of dies to tryout. (I guess she knows how much I love altered projects since we have been doing the All Things Altered Blog Hops together.) I know that she would love for you to visit her blog and let her know how much you love the die and make sure to check out the Sizzix site also.
I hope you love the album I made using Basic Grey Up Up and Away collection. What better sentiment knowing that my book was able to be presented at CHA and I am still in Memphis. One day though I hope to be able to go. What an experience that would be.
What is so fun about the album die is you can add 1-6 pages without any problems using an accordion fold to attach the papers to prior to putting the bind on and if you just want to use it as photo frame just leave the pages out.
I added a lot of different pieces to my book so I was only able to place 5 pages into my book. Like I said I love to alter my projects and with this comes a lot different types of embellishments,

hidden photo pockets, journaling blocks and tags.
Along with flags, gemstones and clips. I also like ribbon so I used this fabulous pleated ribbon from Bazzil to give more character to my book.  I sure am glad you stopped by today to check out my project that is at CHA and the fabulous die that Eileen Hull designed for Sizzix. Thanks Eileen. Hugs Pammejo

We R Memory Keepers Down The Boardwalk Layout

I would love to share with you today the layout I did using We R Memory Keepers Down the Boardwalk and Technique Tuesday Ordinary Days by Ali Edwards. I love the versatility of the Down the Boardwalk papers just because they are so rich in color and can be used for more than your beach pictures. The picture I used on my layout is of my husband and myself at Ceilis in Vancouver. It was our first time that we tried Shepherds Pie and I must say it was delicious!!!
Don't you just love how the Ali Edwards Ordinary Days fit perfectly with the "Ain't Life Great" die cut from We R Memory Keepers and the "Always Together" die cut from My Minds Eye. I love how the small vellum envelop, Making Memories Key and wrapped button just help added more character to my page. I hope you try adding some hidden embellishments the next time you create your layout. Hugs Pammejo

Ceili's Restaurant Layout using We R Memory Keepers

I seen this sketch design yesterday on my facebook that my friend Gloria Stengel of Scraps of Life designed. So this is my interpretation of her sketch. II used We R Memory Keepers Down The Boardwalk to design my layout with of our good friends Jim and Sandy.
Make sure to go to Gloria's Blog and check out her layout it is amazing. I think I may have to add some metals to mine. I love metals as I look at mine layout I believe it needs a bit and I find it hard to believe I didn't put any on it. LOL
I do want you to check out the coaster that I picked up at Ceili's Restaurant. I inked it up a bit with Tea Dye and Evergreen Bough, added some brown twine and a button to it. I place it on two pop dots placed carefully on the side and added a recipe for th Shepherd's Pie that we had the restaurant. It is a fun way to add a journaling block to your layouts. So hold on to your coasters. Hugs Pammejo

Carta Bella Paper - Beautiful Moments Project Challenge

Have you heard there is a new paper company in town. Yep that is right it is Carta Bella Paper and the best thing is it is a sister company of Echo Park. Well, Carta Bella Papers is having a contest using the Beautiful Moments Collection that will end on July 23rd,  you can upload layouts, cards or altered work to their facebook account. How fun is that
REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION-PAPER CREATIONS SPRING 13
I made three cards using the 6x6 paper pad. It is filled with pink, yellow, chocolate and burgundy pappers and so easy to make cards with as you can see with my first card.
On my second card I got a bit bravery by making a pinwheel and adding a sticker from SRM Stickers.
And for my last I made these fabulous banners and added cute little dimensional flowers using the EK Success Mini Flower Punch. My Thank You Sentiment on this card is an Inkadinkado Stamp and Black Color Box Ink. Don't forget to check out their site and check out the new lines that will be release at CHA. Have a fun and creative day. Hugs Pammejo

Basic Grey Sketch Challenge 7/2/12

Wow, nothing like waiting to the last minute to enter the Basic Grey Sketch Challenge but that is exactly what I have done. I hope if you have never done a challenge that this might inspire you to try it out. Basic Grey has regular challenges, they are always fun to do and the bonus is you get a fabulous sketch to use and to have for your collection of sketches. That always makes me smile. So here is the sketch for 7/2/12.

This is my take on the sketch: I used Basic Grey What's Up papers and envelopes to make my card. I made my ribbon border by using the EK Success Inch Border Punch. Wow.... can you believe it is the first time I have used it and I guarantee I will be using it more often. I love the look of how the brown gingham ribbon from American Craft was so easy to weave through it.
Don't you just love the envelopes from the What's Up collection, I stamped a sentiment from Technique Tuesdays Ali Edwards Favorite Memories with ColorBox ink on to the small envelop I used and added the Red Petite Letters from Authentic. Again I hope you enjoy the take on my sketch and try doing some sketch challenges yourself.

Fireworks Card - Published by Scrapbooking.Com

Wow can you believe that the Fourth of July is today and I have just been told that my card was published in Scrapbooking.com. If you go HERE you will be able to get all of the detail on how to make the card.
I made this Fourth of July card using the Bo Bunny Liberty paper and I think it turned out pretty cool. We see accordion fold everywhere so I had to include one on my card but I only let it fold out part of the way, I think it really makes the Fireworks sticker pop of the card. I added some of the little stars to the card front, inside and one on the back of my card. Always look for way to decorate your cards on the inside, back and don't forget your envelopes.I hope you take go over to check out my card on Scrapbooking.com and let me know how much you love their newsletter.  Hugs Pammejo
