"Smile Card" with Teresa Collins Everyday Moments

I love this stamp from Technique Tuesday and use it alot, it always makes me "Smile" and works wonderful with Teresa Collins Everyday Moments Collection. I layered my paper on to a A2 white card base to keep the simplicity of the card I was making.
Stamp your sentiment on a piece of the polka dot strip and layer it on to both a piece of yellow and navy card stock. Place on top of a scallop border strip of paper you have punch from the Everyday Moment Collection.
These rosettes are another thing that always make me "Smile". I made them using Tim Holtz Tattered Pinecone Die and my Cut N Boss from Craftwell, roll them and tip the petals using a pair of tweezers to achieve the look you want...add to front of card. Finish the front of your card with a pretty white seam binding bow, metal bow and a few pieces of clear gemstones.
To finish your card add another border punch that has been matted with navy cardstock. I hope my card made you "Smile" today and you try making some happy cards. Hugs Pammejo

Days Like These Makes Me Smile Tag

I went to a crop this weekend with some of the Displaced Scrapbookers in our area. I had a fabulous and fun time with ladies I haven't seen in awhile. One of the things we were challenged to do was make a tag from 3 sheets of paper that Ann (our hostess) gave us. I received 2 sheets of Jillibean Pasta Fagioli and a piece of Cosmo Cricket Bloomin' Babies to create my tag with. I made most of it at the crop but finished it today since I had my embellishments that I wanted to use at home.
I stamped the sentiment using Technique Tuesdays Favorite Memories, I love the sentiments that are this set and use them all of the time. My beautiful bling is from Want2Scrap.
I made a turquoise tulle flower from a piece of tulle that I received on a package and I used the leftovers at the top of my tag as its tie. I added a clip from Basic Grey Serendipity Shine On and a added a small camera chippie to the film strip. I hope you save your ribbons from package and recycle them and if you have never tried your hand at making a tag, now is the time. I hope you enjoyed my tag.  Hugs Pammejo

Hello Spring with Want2Scraps, Technique Tuesday and Teresa Collins

"Hello Spring Tag" is just a fun tag I made for my friend Ann. I recently did a Facebook contest with Want2Scraps ... all you had to do was "like" their Facebook page and tag a friend, so that is what I did. (I have liked/loved Want2Scraps for along time but I still tagged Ann and we won the prize package.) How exciting is that, so if you haven't liked Want2Scraps Page yet I would suggest you do that.
One of the items I won is the Vintage Phone die cut, it so cute. I painted it with my Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Paint and added a bit of Couture Creations Red Glitz Glamour. I also used  Couture Creations Scallop Circles and Rectangle to do my decorating with and to place my Technique Tuesday Beauty of Spring sentiments on.
I added a bit of Want2Scraps Swirl Rhinestones to the top of my tag along with adding a few more stamped sentiments from the Technique Tuesday Beauty of Spring. I have to also mention that my tag is made from Teresa Collins Stationary Notes papers.

Sin City Scraps - Smile the World is Waking

Sin City Scraps
Can you believe spring will be here in just a few more weeks...rom the birds singing, to flowers bloom, to bamboo covering the yard it will be Spring. Beautiful colors, rebirth of plants and trees, beautiful colors and warm sunny days it will be Spring. So I would like to share with you how to make a background with Distress Stains and a Black Zig Marker.
Started with a piece of water color paper and distress stain to make my background, making sure to overlap a bit.
Once the stains are placed on the watercolor paper, take your H2O pen and blended them together. Make sure you allow the stains to dry thoroughly before doing your line work with your zig pen or it my run. (I used my embossing gun to speed up the time)
Stamp several Heartfelt Posy Patch Flower onto a piece of Miss Caroline paper from My Minds Eye. I fussy cut all of the pieces out and rolled them with my McGill Blossom Tool set so they would have dimension, also added a gemstone to each of the centers. Place your blue mesh down and then add your flowers you have prepared. with glue dots. I actually stapled the edges of the blue mesh down to hold into place. Make sure to stamp your sentiment on to your card. I did mine after I glued the flowers on but you may want to do this before. I hope you try making your backgrounds and try your hand at fussy cutting your stamped images. Hugs Pammejo

Supplies
Distress Stains: Antique Linen, Bundled Sage, Peeled Paint, Forest Moss

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY - Sizziz Borders and Hydrageas Die

I have fell in love with this new die that Designer Eileen Hull has designed for Sizzix. All I can say it is amazing and super easy to use. Not only that but the bonus is you get not only the flower but both borders on the same day. How cool is that!!!!! AND what a fabulous day to share but for WORLD CARD MAKING DAY!!!!! For my first card I used the ric rac border from the die on my Kraft card that I stamped with Technique Tuesdays Ali Edwards stamps and black ink.

Here is a  closer look at the flowers, the centers are from Prima's Say It with Crystals. I think it gave a fabulous center to the flowers.
My With Sympathy Card is made with the other border that is on the die. The stamp comes from Paper Smooches, I also embossed the image so it would pop off the the My Minds Eye The Sweetest Thing paper.
Again, here is a closer look at the the flowers. I also did paint on Glimmer Glaze on the flowers, this will allow them to be stiff but not change the dimension of the flowers. I also did a bit of inking on the petals. My leaves I hand tore tear drop shapes, misted them lightly, crushed them up, shaped them and aloud them to dry before placing them on my card. I bit of bling from Prima never hurt anything. I hope you look and get the die from Sizzix because I am sure you will love it as much as I do. Hugs Pammejo

We R Memory Keepers Down The Boardwalk Layout

I would love to share with you today the layout I did using We R Memory Keepers Down the Boardwalk and Technique Tuesday Ordinary Days by Ali Edwards. I love the versatility of the Down the Boardwalk papers just because they are so rich in color and can be used for more than your beach pictures. The picture I used on my layout is of my husband and myself at Ceilis in Vancouver. It was our first time that we tried Shepherds Pie and I must say it was delicious!!!
Don't you just love how the Ali Edwards Ordinary Days fit perfectly with the "Ain't Life Great" die cut from We R Memory Keepers and the "Always Together" die cut from My Minds Eye. I love how the small vellum envelop, Making Memories Key and wrapped button just help added more character to my page. I hope you try adding some hidden embellishments the next time you create your layout. Hugs Pammejo

Smile/BeeHappy Cards using Teresa Collins

REMOVED FOR PUBLICATION
Well do you like fast and simple but clean and elegant? That is exactly what I created today to share with you. I use Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze to make both of my cards. On the first card I fussy cut the grey scallop paper and added to the top of a piece of grey paper. I then corner chomped the top of the card with the EK Success Deco corner chomper and placed it to the card front once I had stamped my "Smile Celebrate This Life" from Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards stamp set and tied a yellow sheer ribbon around the paper. The large flower is actually from Jolees', They come in a 4 pack and are also fabulous for spraying Glimmer Mist, Mr Hueys, Perfect Pearls, Smooh Spritzers or other sprays on.
My second card is made by adding papers to my card base, making a flag that would fit over the middle seam line. I punched out an oval by using the EK Success Oval Scallop Punch and a sticker from the SRM Happy Sentiment Sheet. The oval was placed on pop dots and I added a small yellow sheer bow to the front of the card. I don't know about you but some times I just enjoy making clean and simple cards. Hugs Pammejo
