How about some Boss Gloss!!!

I know you are thinking...

HEY... 

you are a Stampendous designer!

WELL.... 

I actually bought this when I worked at Archivers of Memphis!

It is hard to believe that Archivers has been closed for over 3 years, it makes me quite sad. 

ANYWAY....

I rubbed the Boss Gloss over the top of card stock, sprinkle three different embossing powders over the top and heat set it to create my mat piece.

Once the embossed paper was created...

WELL...

I started going through my paper stash.

I found some My Mind's Eye Sky's the Limit...

(Did you know that on most paper the date is on it)

SO....

You can see this is from 2013.

Guess I should use some of it.  

Select and layer your pattern papers to the top of card front.

Stamp hot air balloon on pattern paper three times. 

Fussy cut out one whole hot air balloon out, and just parts of the other two.

Ink one of the stamped images with distress ink. 

 Layer hot balloon together. Add to front of card front.

Stamp sentiment with VersaMark, emboss with embossing powder. 

Add Journal piece from paper pad and sentiment to front of card.

Ink small roses with distress ink.

Add ribbon to card front along with inked roses.

Add a fun border, pattern paper and another of the journal pieces from the paper pad to the inside of the card.

Hugs and Kisses Candy Box Artist on the Block

 Wow...more love on the blog today using Eileen Hull fabulous Artist Block Die from Sizzix.

 I wanted to share with you how to make them using all those cardboard boxes that your might have laying around. To begin with just cut pieces of the cardboard to fit the die and run through your die cut machine. Once cut....fold at the fold lines and pull carefully pull off some of the paper from the corrugated insides. I took white paint and dry brushed over the cardboard and then formed my Artist Block before I decorated it.

 I stamped four hearts from my stamp set and colored them in using paint I had diluted, allow them to dry thoroughly and glue to chipboard, cut out and wrap with wire.

Place them on to distress pattern paper using pop dots. 

To finish off my Hugs & Kisses box I stamped my sentiment on my pattern paper using Black Indian Ink and die cut it out using Eileen Hull Label Die. Add to the top with pop dots once inked with Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress ink, tie bow with tan twine.

Just Saying Hello!!!

Hello, Hello, Hello what a beautiful day it is...I am Just Saying Hello with this fast and fun card I made today using Bo Bunny Prairie Chic paper pad. I stamped my blue paper using the Stampers Anonymous Filigree Stamp and black ink prior to placing it on my Kraft card stock. Once the barn looking piece was added to the bottom I placed my border that I made using EK Plaid Paper Border Punch. I have fell in love with the flowers from Mon Ami Gabby they are the perfect size for card making and have the best prices ever, so I inked a few, added them to the front of my card along with at Epiphany Craft Square Charm and sentiment "Just Saying Hello" from Hero Arts. Thinking Of You Card - Color Palette

Oh my, I so love today color palette that we are using on Scrapbook News and Review, GORGEOUS!!!! is all I can say.  I love the black/green color palette and how it plays off the white; don't you? I used Teresa Collins Carolina and Fabrication papers to create my card along with a sentiment stamp from Hero Arts Message stamp set.

 Here is the fabulous inspiration photo we were able to be inspired by.

I love the little flowers in the bowl, so I had to recreate it by punching several from a flower punch that I had from EK Success. I rolled each with my McGill Paper Blossoms Tool Set and Molding Mat to get some dimension from the flat flowers and added some gemstones to the centers of each flower. Thank You Card using Hero Arts

I just love spring colors and the color palette that is in the Memory Box Enchanted Paper Pad is just perfect for the Thank You Card that I wanted to make. I stamped my Hero Arts Thank You image in with Memento Ink and colored with Copic Markers. I fussy cut my image out, placed it on my purple back ground paper and placed both pieces on top of my card base with pop dots after I tied my sheer ribbon around it.

Here is a closer look at the stamped image, I added Glossy Accent to the tiny berries and gemstones to the front of the flowers. I hope you take time to make a few Thank You cards since one never knows when you will need one. Hugs Pammejo

Sending Hugs - Inspired by Stamping Challenge

Today is the Inspired by Stamping Challenge blog is ready for our next color challenge and it is gorgeous. I am so excited to be apart of the challenges and hope you will start participating, you could become the next guest designer. I made a sweet valentine card to send out to a special friend that needs to have a hug. I used Hero Arts XO stamp set since I am still waiting on my Inspired by Stamping stamps to arrive. Can't wait for them to arrive.

My paper My Minds Eye Blush paper pad and my flowers are hand made. Don't you love them, here is how simple they are to make.

1. Punch out a few circles, I used a scallop punch but you can use anything. If you don't have a punch just tear yourself a piece of paper to form a circle, they are really pretty done this way and gives your flowers a real vintage feel. Start on the outside edge, using your scissors cut to form a spiral.

2. Start on the outside edge and roll the spiral around the end of your petal roller, tweezers, etc.

3. Once you have your spiral completed roll, remove from your tool and glue to the bottom middle of the spiral. I use Glossy Accent because it is gummy and seems to grasp all of the spiral cuts.

 4. Here are your simple yet beautiful flowers.

 I stamped my image prior to placing my flowers to the front of my card, adding some fun artificial leaves and a few picks.

My hearts were all stamped from Hero Arts Four Hearts stamp set, though I used Hero Arts make sure to check out the heart stamp sets that Inspired by Stamping has in their store and try to do the challenge this week and there is a  Plus!!!! Inspired by Stamping Color Challenge

Today at Inspired by Stamping is the color Challenge and though I still haven't received my stamps I decided to participate in it. So here is my take on the white, saffron yellow ad pink concept. I used Carta Bella Beautiful Moments Collection along with a sentiment stamp from Hero Arts to make my card. I will be using my card for my sweet daughter Sarah Birthday which is actually today.

Don't you love the inspiration piece. 

Here is a closer look at the banner I created to put my sentiment. My sentiment is placed on Sizzix nesting frames. I added a few little rosebuds from Prima and some white lace to complete my project. Hello Card with Graphic 45

I loved the Tropical Travelogue Collection and made this "Hello" Card using it. My "Hello" Card was part of the projects that I shared with Graphic 45 on the 21st for my Guest Artist appearance. I know they would love for you to visit their blog and take a look around. Check out all of the fabulous designers that showcase their work if you have done it yet, you will be simply amazed. 

Don't you love the flowers!!!! I fussy cut out on large from a sheet of the paper and three smaller ones. I cut each flower petal so each petal would be free, rolled them with my McGill Paper Blossom Tool set and painted them Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze to give them some shine but more importantly to make them stiff. If you have never tried it I would encourage you to. Once dried I place each small flower on the larger flower, added a sheer bow and placed it to the front of my card. Lots and Lots of Love with Crate Paper

I love the Fourteen Collection from Crate Paper, it is so bright and fun. I used the Be Mine and Cupid papers to make my card, the hearts are fussy cut from the paper and placed on pop dots. Don't you love it when the paper so easily becomes an embellishment. The great border is with EK Success Scallop Border and a bit of burgundy paper. I stamped the "Lots & Lots of Love" from a Valentine Hero Arts sentiment set using Memento Black Ink. I hope you are having a lovely day. Hugs Pammejo

What's Up Card

 Do you ever look around to see inspiration and then try to create a project from it? I created a card from being inspired by a photo that had to do with sound. I thought sound, what could possible make a lot of sound, that is when I remember my Hero Arts Stamp and Cut Hot Air Balloon Stamp and thought it would be perfect. If you have never heard a hot air balloon well let me tell you they are loud especially when there is a field full of them being aired up. I used We R Memory Keepers Antique Chic 6x6 pad of paper because I liked the small word text on one of the pieces of paper and a die cut sheet that was in the pack. I thought the small text just screamed out what a hot air balloon might look like.

 I double stamped and cut my balloon out on the paper, fussy cut both stamped pieces and layered them together with pop dots. I also used black twine from The Twinery to attach the basket to the balloon, adding a few gemstones never hurt and what better saying then "What's Up" from The Stamp of Life Hello 2 You set.

Like I said I had an inspiration piece and here it is. My piece looks so much different than the inspiration but it is what I envision when I thought of sounds. "Friend You're in My Thought" Card

Have you been to Scrapbook News and Review today to see their Inspiration Piece, it is beautiful. I was inspired to make this card from it. I used the Teresa Collins Everyday Moments 6 x 6 paper pad along with the Memory Box Brilliant Maple Leaf Stamp to make my card base with. I stamped my "Friend You're in My Thoughts" from the Live & Laugh Hero Arts Stamp set. I added a bit of French General Lace Border to the front of my card that I stained with Weathered Wood Stain.

My chair is from Cocoa Daisy, I actually borrowed the stamp from a friend and I love it. Will be checking out Cocoa Daisy Stamps for sure. I stamped the image in black ink and colored the centers with a distress marker. I added Glossy Accent to the dots after the color had dried though it is difficult to see in this photo. I added a small handmade roly poly flower to make it look like a seat cushion on my chair. To finish it off I place it on a small piece of burlap. I hope you are inspired by my take on the inspirational photo and try to make some creative with it yourself.
