IBSIC Inspiration Challenge #51

The Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge #51 is based on the this photo, I love the colors of the orange and green together.
I used Tangerlo and Bamboo Leaves Memento Inks to achieve my circles background from the Fancy Circle Stamp set that Inspired by Stamping has in their store.
Just ink some of the Tangrlo and then a bit of the Bamboo Leaves on the stamp and stamp randomly on your white card base, making sure to do a bit of overlapping and allowing some of the circles to run off the page. I stamped one of the Fancy Circles and Miss You sentiment on to some scrap white paper and punched it out with my 2" punch, added it to the top of a scallop circle and placed some fun orange gemstones to the edge of the circle. I  hope you have enjoyed my card today and go over to Inspired by Stamping Challenge Blog and try doing the challenge this week. Hugs Pammejo

IBSIC Inspiration Challenge #50

Today on the Inspired by Stamping Challenge Blog is the Inspiration Challenge of Light Blue, Light Pink and Light Green. Doesn't the above photo just inspire you to make something beautiful, I always love Joanna's inspiration pieces.
Here is how it inspired me. I love the Just Because Stamp, so many sentiments on one stamp set and there is a matching die that goes along with it. I used papers for Memory Box to create my card.
I added a some of Inspired by Stamping Pink Curly Flowers also to the front of my card along with some stick pins and a fun sheer bow to finish my card look, To give a bit more dimension to my label I placed it on pop dots. I hope you participate in the Inspired by Stamping Challenge this week and please make sure to check out the other designers projects. Hugs Pammejo

Autumn Frame with Memory Box

Wow.... are you ever ready for the time to change? I know today has come early for me, the clock is reading 5:27 and all I know is that I am very thankful for the coffee bean this morning. :) I do love the changing of the seasons and fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the colors of the leaves as they change, the crisp air, the excitement of all of the holidays and a time for me to really decorate my home. Today I want to share with you a frame I made for just that purpose. I bought a couple of dollar frames at my local craft store and painted them black. I used mostly Memory Box products to decorate the frame with - stamps and papers and some metal butterflies from the jewelry department.
I love to distress, so I did that on the edge of the stamped background piece using my distress tool  after I had inked it up with Tim Holtz Distress Inks but FIRST make sure to colored your leaves with Copic Markers.  Do you notice the little bit of stickles on the leaves, I think it looks like a bit like dew drops that we see on most leaves early on fall mornings. I hope you have a wonderful fall day and enjoy all the attributes of the fall season. Hugs Pammejo

"Friend You're in My Thought" Card

Have you been to Scrapbook News and Review today to see their Inspiration Piece, it is beautiful. I was inspired to make this card from it. I used the Teresa Collins Everyday Moments 6 x 6 paper pad along with the Memory Box Brilliant Maple Leaf Stamp to make my card base with. I stamped my "Friend You're in My Thoughts" from the Live & Laugh Hero Arts Stamp set. I added a bit of French General Lace Border to the front of my card that I stained with Weathered Wood Stain.

My chair is from Cocoa Daisy, I actually borrowed the stamp from a friend and I love it. Will be checking out Cocoa Daisy Stamps for sure. I stamped the image in black ink and colored the centers with a distress marker. I added Glossy Accent to the dots after the color had dried though it is difficult to see in this photo. I added a small handmade roly poly flower to make it look like a seat cushion on my chair. To finish it off I place it on a small piece of burlap. I hope you are inspired by my take on the inspirational photo and try to make some creative with it yourself.

It's Cold Outside Blog Hop-Jan 7 and 8

It's Cold Outside Blog Hop is hosted my Zenita and if you would like to participate I would encourage you to go to Zenita's blog Scrappin with Z and join us but if you came from the talented Melissa blog Time Weavers than you are heading in the right direction. I made my card using Stampavie Snowy and Rudolph by stamping my image twice on Coconut Swirl cardstock and Memento Tuxedo Ink. I colored my stamp image with Copic Markers. Remember you only have to color one image completely in the other just the snow bank. Once the images are colored I fussy cut the image that I colored completely in and placed it on my other image using pop dots. I then placed both on my card base that I had made using Memory Box Christmas paper pak. I also did some pen work using a Clear Stardust pen and stapled into place with my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher. I added a little bling to front of the snowman's belly along with Glossy Accent for his nose and Rudolph nose. I hope you continue on with the hop and visit Lisa's Blog - Scrappin with Lisa -Handmade with Love. I am sure you have been so inspired along the way, would love for you to share what inspires you about the cold weather. Hugs Pammejo

Memory Box Pointsetta Card

I am a big fan of Memory Box stamps and I have come to just love their paper, so today it is all about Memory Box. I stamped my Poinsettia twice on a piece of the paper from the Christmas Pak and colored it in with my Copic Markers. I then fussy cut just the Poinsettia out of one the sheets and pop dot it to the other Poinsettia and added it to the front of my card base. I also distressed this piece before I placed it to my card. I added a border that I had made using the EK Notebook Punch along with some staples from my Tiny Attacher. Check out the Memory Box Stamps and papers if you have never looked at them. Hugs Pammejo

13 Days of Halloween Day One - Oct 19-31

Welcome to day one of the 13 Days of Hallowen Blog Hop. If you came by my blog today to see what I am up to I would like for you to join us in the 13 Days of Halloween Blog Hop. If you came from the talented Lisa (our hostess) of Handmade with Love -Lisa you are heading in the right direction. We were asked to create Halloween projects but I really, really like these dollar frames at Michael's and I really really, really, like them when I can get them for 66 cents. I painted this one with Charcoal paint. The paper is from Memory Box Nightfall paper pack. I cut 1" strips, corner rounded them, glued them to the front of my frame and Mod Podge over the top of them once they were dried. I then did my inside by covering the insert with a piece of the paper from the pack, I inked my Memory Box Birch Branch Print stamp with Versafine Onyx Black ink, stamped once and then again to give it a shadow look. I stamped my Maple leaf on three different papers and cut them out by hand. I now have the die that that I can use to cut the leaf out with. I placed my insert into my frame, added two leaves to the front of the insert and the third I layered on with a pop dot.
To decorate the front of my frame on the left corner using a Tim Holtz frame and a piece of the paper from the pack with the little bird in it. I then added my brads and glued it to the frame. On the other top right side I made a pleated strip of paper and added a Tim Holtz nib to the front of it
Here is a closer look at the leaves and the stamping which are in the center of my frame. I also added a small tan twine bow to the center leaf. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you were inspired to create something with leaves. Though my project isn't truly Halloween it is still in the Halloween colors :) and I hop you continue with the hop by hopping by going to visit Janet at Create Believe Imagine At Dream Scrapbooks and see what she has created for you. I am sure you will fine some wonderful inspiration, tutorials and some giveaways along the way and I look forward to you stopping by tomorrow. Please feel free to leave a comment and if you would like to start following my blog that would be wonderful. Hugs

KinderStampO Sketchy Wednesday Oct 12

Today is KinderStampO Sketchy Wednesday!!!! This is the first time that I have done the sketch challenge that is happening. There is a lot of inspiration that is happening over on KinderStampO blog. Make sure to go and see how to participate in the challenge. I made my card using Memory Box products. My paper is from the Nightfall Collection and my background stamp is called Harvest Moon.
I used the Memory Box Cat and Moon stamp and stamped it on a piece of the orange paper and fussy cut it out and placed it on a pop dot so it would look like it was standing on the tree limb.
My Halloween sentiment is actually on a piece of the paper. I inked all of my paper, did my corners using the EK Success Plaid Border Punch for my border that was on the sketch. I also added some staples and inked all of the pieces with Chestnut Roan ink. Now make sure to run over to KinderStampo and join in the challenge.

Spooky Card with Memory Box Stamps

I absolutely love Memory Box Stamps it is one of my very favorite stamp companies. The collage stamps are my most favorite ones because they just speak for themselves. I made my card using Teresa Collins Haunted Hallows Damask and Chandelier Crows paper along with the Memory Box Spooky Stamp. I stamped my image using Versafine Onyx Black ink and distressed the edges with Chestnut Roan Ink. I double matted my stamped piece on both black and orange card stock, wrapped black twine around the piece and placed it on pop dots on to my card front that I had already prepared.

Here is a better picture of the dimension of the matted piece. I also added 3 small gemstones to the top right corner.

Sending Warm Thoughts with Memory Box Stamps

Don't you just love the fall, I tried to capture the Memory Box Maple leaves using my Copic Markers to make them look like the colors of fall. I think they turned out pretty good. I stamped a piece of Coconut Swirl card stock with my Tuxedo Memento Ink making sure that the first one would be centered and then stamping the other where they were somewhat uniformed. I am not sure if I am liking the square look of the leaves; I may try doing the card again and making sure I just stamp my image where ever on my paper. I also stamped an extra leaf on a piece of scrap and then colored my leaves in. My Copic Marker colors are YR04, YR07, R24, R27, G12, G14, G94, G99, Y15 and Y19. I used Tim Holtz Tea Dye Distress Ink to add color to the sides of my card and to give my leaves some shading so that the Coconut Swirl paper wouldn't seem so white. I layered my paper on rust colored card stock and then placed it on my gold card base. My extra leaf that I colored, I fussy cut it out and placed it on a pop dot. I added a small tan twine bow and a sentiment from Unity Stamps that says "Sending Warm Thoughts" to the top center front using my Tuxedo Memento Ink. Hope you are inspired today.

Celebrate Card - Memory Box Pear Sketch

It is hard to believe that in a week I will be taking classes with Dave from Memory Box, oh how I love there stamps. I must say they are one of my very favorites and I can thank or maybe blame my dear friend Christine for introducing them to me but I love her for it. Today I am using two new stamps. The first is the Index Card stamp, I stamped it o a piece of paper from the Minuet 6x6 paper pack from Memory Box. I wrapped it with brown twine, attached it to the front of my card, I added staples from Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher at the top left corner and bottom center. The Pebblees "Celebrate" slide is actually clear so I slide a piece of the paper from the pack inside of it before I glued it to the front of my card.

My second Memory Box stamp is the Pear Sketch Trio which I colored in with my Copic Markers: C1, C3, YR12,G12, G14, G02, ad G05. I distressed the edges and inked them with my Chestnut Roan Ink before I placed it on pop dots. I fussy cut that small, little butterfly as the finally detail ad placed it on my "Celebrate" slide. I hope this inspired you to use your stamps in different ways.

Brilliant Maple Branch Thank You Card

Thank you it is Friday, it is so hot and steamy here in Memphis. We had some much needed relieve last night with some rain but it will be very humid today I am sure and with that being said we had early morning with roofers next door. They started at 5:15 and Charlie started barking minutes later, so it was early to rise. So I decided to finish a card I started yesterday. I am using my Memory Box Maple Leaf Branch along with the Cocoa Bean Butterfly and the Minuet Paper Pak.

I stamped my Brilliant Maple Branch on the tan polka dot paper from the Memory Box Minuet paper pak using Memento ink, using YR12 and YR68 colored them in. I took my Tim Holtz ruler and did some line work on the paper on thetan polka dot and green paper. Did you notice I triple matted my project, the blue paper is from the same pack;I took the left over blue paper stamped my Cocoa Bean Butterfly, fussy cut it out and using some Distress Crackle Paint went over one of them.

Once it was dried I put my card together, I distressed my sides with Tea Dye Distress ink, Chestnut Roan ink, added my my butterfly by gluing one flat to the card and then just gluing the center of the second that I had added the Distress Rock Candy togive my butterfly dimension. I also added a small trinket to the right of card and a Thank You sticker to the bottom of my card.

Simplify Hope Card

Today I decided to use a stamp from one of my favorite stamp lines... Memory Box Stamps along with some Websters Page Triple Pak Collection and of course you have to add a little distress ink and Tim Holtz to the mix. LOL
I stamped my image on a piece of the Webster Pages paper, matted it with a checked piece from the collection, colored in my rose buds with Copic R24 and 27 and inked the edges of each piece before I glued them together. I also used my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher and stapled each of the corners before I placed the matted piece on pop dots.
I added a Tim Holtz Hang Clip and a Simplify Philosophy Tag along with red and brown twine to the front of my card. This is a side view of my card showing the depth of the card when you use dimension embellishments and pop dots.

Because I have a green card base I decided to do the inside of the card also, it will make it easier to write my sentiment when I am ready to send it out. Notice how I wrapped the red and brown twine around my paper before I glued it to the inside of the card. I made a sweet little bow to also give it more character. I hope you enjoyed your visit today to my blog and would ask you to share it on facebook and your twitter accounts to help me reach my 500 goal. I have a little giveaway when I reach this goal. Enjoy!!!

Beach Charm Exchange and Imaginsce May Challenge using Imaginisce and Memory Box

Wow, I have never done a charm exchange before but after I got my charms made I didn't know how to send them. I decided I would make some fun tags to attach them to and send them out that way, can't wait to see the charms I receive in exchange.
Also, Imaginisce is having a challenge and the criteria is:
1.)create a masculine themed layout/card/project
2.)use one of our Snag'Em Stamps from any Imaginisce collection
3.)you must use at least 75% of Imaginisce product
So I am entering my tags into the contest because I made a few extras to use as gifts for my the men in my life.
The tag is made with a Tim Holtz Movers and Shapers that I cut out using my Big Shot and white cardstock.
I then stamped the tag background with Memory Box Vintage Record Sheet and Black Memento Ink. My edges are distrested with Pumice Stone, Broken China, Mustard Seed and Shabby Shutter.
The cute Blowfish is one of Imaginisce Snag'em Stamps, stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with G12,G14,R83,R85 and Boo Copic Markers. I then fussy cut them out with my scissors and added Glossy Accent to the eyes to give them dimension. After the Glossy Accent was dry I placed it on with the tag with pop dots. I got my charm pieces from Hobby Lobby and Michaels out of their jewelry department. The pink charm is to represent a flower lei that you might recieve at the beach along with some metals; fish, butterflies, dragonflies, etc.
