"It's a Good Day" May Birthday Calendar Layout with Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts

It is that time of the month...
I am sharing with another calendar layout.
I created a "It's A Good Day" layout of my grandson for my May Birthday Wood Hanging Stand.
I love that this is such a  perfect home decor piece that I can honor each of our families birthdays with.
I began my layout by adhering several pieces of inked pattern paper to the top of the chipboard that comes with the Wood Hanging with Stand.

Emboss the Mixed Media Fragment 1 chipboard with a mix of the two embossing powders.
Adhere to top of layout.
Adhere photo to layout.
Add either your birthday or the age of the person. (I did our grandson age)
Emboss the Postage Frame with embossing powder.
Add photos.
Adhere to top of layout.
Add "It's a Good Day" strip to layout.
I hope I have inspired you to check out the Wood Hanging Stand with Pages
and maybe make a fabulous home decor to honor your family.
The possibilities are endless.

Apply Tombow Foam Adhesive to back of prepared image.
Add to front of card base.
Die cut doily Fancy Pants Design Attwell pattern paper.
Cut in half, place half on to card front.
Adhere skirt and dolly to top of card front along with a ribbon sash.
Make a pretty ribbon, place on card front along with some flowers using Tombow Adhesive Dots.
Place the "Well Hello There" Flair button to top of card front.
Add border to inside of card with Tombow Mono Permanent Adhesive.

A La Mode Layout with Fancy Pants and Crafwell

Hi it is Pam to day sharing with you Fancy Pants Nautical Collection using my eBosser from Craftwell. As soon as I seen the collection I knew I wanted to do a layout of my husband with his new toy...the A La Mode.
I began by first cutting a strip from the collection and then random laid circle dies on my paper and ran it through the eBosser. Once the circles were cut out I placed it on my stripe background paper.

I repeated using Rockstar Alphabet dies and a piece of the yellow paper from the Nautical Collection.
Once I had them cut I ran them through Xyron "X" Sticker Maker.  It is really a fabulous tool for all the little pieces you cut out.
Here is a closer look at the circles and the letters once they are placed on the layout. I added a bit of twine over the top of the flags and a few bows to give added dimension.
Hold on to those circles you cut out and layer them together or just add them here and there it gives your piece a great look.

Boy Oh Boy with Fancy Pants and Craftwell

Boy oh Boy!!! I love this photo of our grandson fishing with his grandpa. He has to be one of the most energetic and adventurous boys I know and I thought the Be Different Collection from Fancy Pants was perfect.
I started my layout by running a 6" x 9" piece of green paper from the collection through my eBosser using the Teresa Collins Woodgrain Embossing Folder.
Don't you think it gave the green paper an amazing look. Once I had my embossed paper and other papers in place. I added my matted photo, a few flags that I cut out along with stickers and flair embellishments to the embossed paper.
I added a few strips of paper and one more flair embellishments to the corner.
I love the large Boy Oh Boy Die Cut from the Be Different Collection. It worked perfect with my layout.
I hope you enjoyed my layout and remember "In Order to be Irreplaceable, One Must Always Be Different".  Hugs Pammejo

You're Invited with Fancy Pants and Craftwell

Welcome to Wednesday with Crafwell and our fabulous sponsor Fancy Pants. I am loving the Be Different Collection, I just love all the little monsters. They make me smile. Today I am going to share with you how to make some quick and easy party invitations using those little monsters from the paper.
F
First you need to run your paper through your eBosser lining up your Sizzix Envelope/Seed Packet Die.
Fold and glue sides. I added a strip around mine with one of the borders from the paper.
Die cut your Medallion Die from Spellbinders using the eBosser.
And to finish off your party invitation fussy cut one of the fun monsters from the paper and add to front with one of the tickets using pop dots. I hope you will try making some invitations using the eBosser and check out Fancy Pants for other fabulous collections. Hug Pammejo

Jan 2014 Card with SinCity Stamps and Altered Pages

Can you believe we are almost through the first week of January....I am still having a hard time believing we have just enter into 2014....lol but why not "Celebrate" all the new beginnings, New Years resolutions....some we are still keeping and others we have probably broken....
I started my card by first embossing a piece of cream card stock that matched my card base with White Seafoam Embossing Powder, VersaMark and SinCity Stamps Classic Spark Stamp Set.
Allow the heated embossing powder to cool before using your distress inks or it may smear....once cool I used Wild Honey and Broken China Distress inks to achieve the color I wanted to go along with my A Childs New Year Collage piece from Altered Pages.
Here is a closer look at the Classic Spark Background Stamp.
Add the fun little girl collage piece from a Childs New Year Collage Sheet to the front of the card. I added the sticker numbers to the piece so it would say 2014, cleaver way to use the collage sheets through out the entire month or year.
I hope you have a fabulous 2014 and stop by frequently to check out all the new items in the SinCity Stamps Store....we have added chipboard, stencils, masks and more stamps. We would also love for you to stop by SinCity Stamps  and Altered Pages Blogs to check out all the fabulous inspirations that is being offered. Hugs Pammejo

Paper Secrets Guest Designer using Fancy Pants Park Bench

Welcome today to my second Guest Design Team project for Paper Secrets...thank you so much for inviting me to share my work and thank you for such lovely sketches to be inspired from. Today I am using Park Bench from Fancy Pants and I just  love the sketch...I think it is because of the flags and "freedom" cards.
I used a photo of one of my grand daughters as the focus of my layout but she is so "Amazing" and that is why I had to add the "freedom" card to the layout. I just love all the sentiments of the collection that really makes my layout so special because our Annie Girl is special to us.
I love the little flags I created, they are 1" x 2" and I just cut the "v" with my precision scissors. I tip the ends up using a pair of tweezer, just wrap the ends around to make them look like they are blowing. I added a few Epiphany Epoxy Circles to my page...one is on top of a sticker that came with the kit...
I used the Love Freedom Card to make a pocket from for a hidden journal block. I added a Fiskars Scallop Border behind the card as well as to the side of the Amazing Freedom Card prior to placing them on the page.
I made a fun scallop flower by punching out 3 different size scallops, misting them, wading them up, opening and giving them shape. Make sure they are dried completely before you place them on your layout. I put a small brad in the center of mine before placing it to the front on my layout. I added a couple of fun stick pins to finish the layout. I hope  you stop by Paper Secrets....check out their blog for amazing inspiration and the store to see some fabulous products. Hugs Pammejo
