I used the Irish Dreams Doily Die as my title background piece. Once I had my Irish Dreams die cut out I used my Handheld Essential to remove the small intricate pieces of the doily. I placed it on my pattern paper prior to adding my fussy cut flowers that I cut out with Couture Creations Precision Scissors.
I cut my Blossom Doily in half, using part of it to one side of my photo that I had placed on my page with Foam Tape.
The other half I used to place behind the owl I fussy cut out using my Precision Scissors. I added a bit of Glitz Glamour Red to the crown of the owl and also to all of the flower centers of my flowers that I had cut out and placed a few using the Foam Tape.

Many thanks for showing us the layout. I have a couple of CC dies but find that some of them are not as easy to eject the paper from as spellbinders are. Can you give us all some tips. PS I have used baking paper, wiping with an anti static cloth. I cant find any wax paper where I live. Please help.
ReplyDeleteAnnamieke, I sent you a link and what Couture Creations says about using the Doily Dies. They are delicate collections of intricate designs. All doily dies will also include a piece of ejection foam, this helps to provide higher and more even pressure across each dies’ cutting surface, resulting in a cleaner cut and easily removable finished design. As you can see the dies come with ejection foam and they work perfectly when you use it. Here is a link to the other doily dies in the collection and they are gorgeous. I hope this gives you the confidence to use your Couture Creation dies by using ejection foam and not wax paper. Thank you for your comment. Pammejo
