Today I would love to share with the Wild Life and Metal Madness from SinCity Scraps Stamps
using Tim Holtz new distress paints. The stamps from SinCity Scraps
Stamps are just so unique and fun to use as you will see on my Proud as a Peacock Card.
I started by placing three different colors of distress paint on to my craft sheet, spritzed it with a bit of water and rubbed my tag through it. HINT: If you don't captured enough color on your tag, just repeat making sure to dry between swipes.
This is the looked that I achieved after two applications of the paint, drying between the application with my low temp heat gun.
Once my tag was dried I stamped the peacock border stamp down the left side using my black Memento ink, stamping over the top with the Metal Madness background stamp using Memento Rose Bun ink.
I distress all the edges of my tag with my distress tool and brown ink. To make the peacock, I stamped the image twice onto cream card stock, once with Danube Blue so I could fussy cut the bird part out and then the second with Danube Blue, Cantaloupe, and Pear Tart Memento Ink, fussy cutting the whole peacock out. place the bird on top of the whole bird, ink edges with the brown ink. Place on tag over the "Proud as a Peacock" sentiment with pop dots.
I placed my tag on top of a 5 x 7 card base that I had decorated with pattern paper. I hope you take time to check out the lastest and greatest new stamps that are being made available at the SinCity Stamp Store.
