Vintage Heartfelt Designs Congratulations Card

Today is my first project for the "Vintage Heartfelt" Design Team. All of the projects that you will be seeing from the team will be vintage in style. Our team hopes to give inspiration, projects, tutorials and of course giveaways all the way. There are 9 very talented ladies on our team. For my first project I am using Webster Pages Triple Pack Collection, I choose this paper line because of it eclectic look that I so love.

My dress form is made from Tim Holtz Dress Form Die and my Big Shot, I stained it with FireBrick Red and Walnut Distress Stain, once dried I took a piece of 2" paper and made accordian folds on my Martha Stewart Scoreboard, I scored every 1/16" and then folded it and glued it to the waist of the dress form. Once I knew the skirt was secure I then wrapped some 1/2" American Craft Red Sheer Ribbon around the waist, tie a knot and place a rossette from the Maya Road Small Organza Rose Ribbon. I added some pearls from Prima Say It With Pearls.

I fussy cut this post and watering cans from a piece of the paper that was in the collection, layered on some brown card stock and cut it out again. I placed it over the scallop border that I had punched from my EK Le Flower Burst Punch using pop dots.

You can see the dimensions in this photo the best. I also did the title the same way and my "Congratulations" Sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles. Please make sure to go to all of the Vintage Heartfelt designers blogs I am sure you will be pleasantly suprised and will want to visit each of our sites often. Make sure to follow our blogs so you will know when things are happening with each of us.
