Today is a blog hop with Scrapbookaholic by Abby and the Design Team. If you stopped by to see what was happening with me today I would like to encourage you to go the Scrapbookaholic by Abby and join us in the hop, if you came here from Sandra of 365 Days of Cricut than you are going in the right direction for the hop.
I scrapped a layout of my little grand-daughter Annie playing in the sand at the ocean while we were visiting our sons that live in Florida. As you can see we definitely were not dress for the beach since this was taken at Thanksgiving. It was 45 here in Memphis at the time and 90 degrees there.
First, I cut a piece of GCD Studios Georgia paper to measure 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" and glued it to the Peggy Sue paper. Cut 1 strip from Frances and 1 strip from Georgia papers to measure 3/4" x 9 1/2" and 1 strip of the Georgia paper to measure 1" x 9 1/2". Take one piece of the Georgia paper and your EK Swiss Cheese punch and punch across strip of paper. Layer and adhere the Frances, Georgia and Tara papers to the Peggy Sue paper. Once they are glued on I sewed them with my sewing machine.
I then took the "LIVE" card from Jenni Bowlin Bingo Card set and inked it with Tim Holtz Broken China, Tea Dye, and Aged Mohongany Distressed inks. Glue it to the bottom of the lowest strip of paper. I radomly placed my Creative Imaginations epoxy stickers on and near my bingo card.
I added two Chantilly Charms to my page, one I glue to the page the other I placed on with a pop dot. I placed an antique brad in the center of each before I put them on the page. I also used 4 antique brads on each corner of Annies photo. The photo at the top of the layout is double matted with the Georgia paper.
I hope you continue on the hop by next visiting Michelle of Scrappin With My Bug and continuing through out the hop. I am sure you will find lots of fun ideas, projects, tutorials and I am sure some blog candy along the way.
