Scrapbookaholic by Abby Challenge #7 using Imaginisce Happy Camper Collection

"Challenge #7" this time for us over at Scrapbookaholic by Abby was to make a Father's Day Card based on this Page Map sketch

I used the Imaginisce Happy Camper Don't Feed the Bears, Fireside Fun, Gone Fishing, and Thermal Jammies to make my card from. I stamped a background on the polka dot paper using Chestnut Roan ink and the Stampabilities Faded Text Background that I got at my local Hobby Lobby Store.

I added a Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp, an extra T/H Jump Ring so the clasp would lay down flat and a Making Memories Brad to give my card some metal, I just think that every card for a man needs to have some metal

I also did some paper piercing, distressed using my T/H distress tool and Chestnut Roan Ink on my border that is holding the distressed and inked squares that I cut from the Fireside Fun paper. I also fussy cut a bear, some trees and camp fire from the Happy Camper papers to go around my Making Memories Card Saying Rub Ons.

Make sure to go to Scrapbookaholic by Abby's to see how to participate in the Challenge #7.

  1. What a FUN man card! Mine are always more bland, and I love how you showed some real pops of color and fun elements while still avoiding making it girlie.
