Red,White, and Blue June 23 & 24 Blog Hop

Glad you stopped by today to see what is going on. I am participating in a Red White and Blue Blog Hop that is being hosted by Nicolette from Beyond Scrappin" I hope you are planning on hopping along with us. If you came from the very talented Susan of It's Me Susan P you are heading in the right direction, if not you will want to go to Beyond Scrappin to start at the beginning of the hop. I am sure as you are enjoying the hop you will find lots of wonderful projects, tutorials and giveaways.
I am always excited about the Fourth of July, it is coming up quickly on us as we are celebrating in the Red, White and Blue Hop. It always reminds me of our freedom and that we should never take it for granted. I made two cards for this weekends hop, I am not sure of the paper line that I used since it was in my scrap box but I think that they both turned out fabulous. My stars are from the Quickutz Nesting Stars

I always love coordinating papers, it makes designing so easy. I punched out some of the fun patriotic symbols from my paper and placed them on pop dots.

My second card I used the corner rounder and rounded the corners of my card and rectangles that I placed on my card. I added some sweet red star eyelets to my America label.

My star is a chipboard star that I painted with a Blue Paint Dabber and placed it on my card once it was dried. I also added a small piece of ribbon to the front of the card.

Again I hope you enjoy the hop and the next stop is with Michelle's Peanut Butter and Jelly Designs. Remember as we come up on the Fourth of July to celebrate and reflect on our freedom, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness and have a wonderful Fourth of July.
