All Things Alter Fall/Halloween Winner!!!!!

Thank you all for coming and enjoying the All Things Altered Fall/Halloween Blog Hop that was held this weekend. I promised that I would announce the winner today but I had to first let my random little drawer get home from first grade.
So as soon as Annie put her book pack down she made her drawing, she was so excited to get to it.
SO SHE MADE HER PICK!!!!
 AND..... it was.......................
Oh my Freaking Goodness! This is my first altered object hop you've organized and I am in awe -- and thrilled! One of my regular subscriptions is on the hop, so I've been treated to so much eye candy! I've subscribed and commented and been just thrilled! Thank you so much for starting this, gathering such a wonderful group of paper crafters together, and giving us this opportunity! I LOVE your birdhouse! Just a little creepy and little cute -- perfect for me! I've been thinking of doing a bird house series of my own -- I'm not kidding! I've been getting into construction and altered items lately and so I really am as excited about this as I seem!

So Mary please email me your physical address so I can get your prize in the mail. If I haven't heard from you in a week we will draw again. I hope everyone had a fabulous time during our hop and we will be ready to do it again on November 22 and 23 with the All Things Altered Winter Blog Hop. Hope to see you all. Hugs Pammejo

Bo Bunny Oct Card Challenge

I want to enter my card in the Bo Bunny October Card Challenge sharing the love of the things I love about fall. I love the fall colors, the pumpkin patches and crisp air and I think that the Apple Cider Collection captures all of it. Thank you Bo Bunny for hosting an October Challenge.

Halloween Cards with Fancy Pants

I was digging through my Halloween papers and found some leftover pieces of Fancy Pants Oct 31st Collection.  It is so cute I just had to make a couple of cards using it.  The sentiment and round images are both rubons, aren't they remarkable. I punched the circle image out once I had it transferred to a piece of scrap paper and placed it on pop dots. The border is also part of the rub on sheet.
My second card is stamped using the Tim Holtz Filigree stamp and the Memory Box Happy Halloween with black ink.

Both the border and the witches hat are rub ons but I also outline the hat so it would pop a bit more. I also double matted the hat and placed it on pop dots, added a fun button and some natural twine. I hope you are having fun making or being inspired to do your Halloween Cards.

Teachers Survival Box with Bo Bunny -

Don't you think it would be nice to make  your favorite teacher a Survival Box as a way to say thank you or as a Christmas Gift. You can put anything you want in it, I placed school supplies in mine.
How to Make:
I used my Martha Stewart Scoreboard and made a 4" box with a piece of 12" x 12"  blue card stock. Take your blue card stock and score 4" on all sides, fold and glue to make your box. I decorated mine using Bo Bunny's Learning Curve Paper, embellishments, and twine from the Twinery.
Here is a closer look at the inside of my box. I hope you try making one and filling it full of fun stuff. Make sure to go to the Scrapbook News and Review blog and check some other fun school projects. Hugs Pammejo

"Friend You're in My Thought" Card

Have you been to Scrapbook News and Review today to see their Inspiration Piece, it is beautiful. I was inspired to make this card from it. I used the Teresa Collins Everyday Moments 6 x 6 paper pad along with the Memory Box Brilliant Maple Leaf Stamp to make my card base with. I stamped my "Friend You're in My Thoughts" from the Live & Laugh Hero Arts Stamp set. I added a bit of French General Lace Border to the front of my card that I stained with Weathered Wood Stain.

My chair is from Cocoa Daisy, I actually borrowed the stamp from a friend and I love it. Will be checking out Cocoa Daisy Stamps for sure. I stamped the image in black ink and colored the centers with a distress marker. I added Glossy Accent to the dots after the color had dried though it is difficult to see in this photo. I added a small handmade roly poly flower to make it look like a seat cushion on my chair. To finish it off I place it on a small piece of burlap. I hope you are inspired by my take on the inspirational photo and try to make some creative with it yourself.

Follow Your Dreams Card

Do you follow your dreams, goals, aspirations??? That is a deep question that I ask myself occasionally. So when I seen this die cut from We R Memory Keepers it was a soft reminder to always go forward with your dreams. I used the We R Memory Keepers Antique Chic papers that went with the die to make my card. The border is punched from an EK Success Scallop Border punch. The metal flowers are also part of the collection, they are made of a soft metal so you are able to manipulate them with a pair of pliers to bend the petals a bit. I think it gives the card great dimension. I hope this inspires you to always Follow Your Dreams. Hugs Pammejo

PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE FOR MY BIRDHOUSE: HERE IS THE LINK AND YOU CAN SEE IT ON YESTERDAYS POST. THANK YOU.
