Smile/BeeHappy Cards using Teresa Collins

Well do you like fast and simple but clean and elegant? That is exactly what I created today to share with you. I use Teresa Collins Carolina Breeze to make both of my cards. On the first card I fussy cut the grey scallop paper and added to the top of a piece of grey paper. I then corner chomped the top of the card with the EK Success Deco corner chomper and placed it to the card front once I had stamped my "Smile Celebrate This Life" from Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards stamp set and tied a yellow sheer ribbon around the paper. The large flower is actually from Jolees', They come in a 4 pack and are also fabulous for spraying Glimmer Mist, Mr Hueys, Perfect Pearls, Smooh Spritzers or other sprays on.

My second card is made by adding papers to my card base, making a flag that would fit over the middle seam line. I punched out an oval by using the EK Success Oval Scallop Punch and a sticker from the SRM Happy Sentiment Sheet. The oval was placed on pop dots and I added a small yellow sheer bow to the front of the card. I don't know about you but some times I just enjoy making clean and simple cards. Hugs Pammejo

Kaisercraft Vintage Love Card

 I can't thank you all for following my blog, coming regularly to see and encourage me in my creativity. I love when you leave sweet comments, fabulous ideas and connections to your blogs. So today it is all about saying "Thanks" to all that continue to support me. My card is made from My Minds Eye Miss Caroline paper pad along with Kaisercraft "Vintage Love" stamp. I stamped and embossed the bicycle using Ranger black embossing powder and fussy cutting it out. Once I had it cut out I carefully inked the top of it using my ColorBox Chestnut Roan ink. I distress all of my paper prior to placing them on my card base using the Tim Holtz distress tool

Here is a closer look at the bicycle, I placed it on my card front that I had stamped with the Vintage Love stamp using pop dots. I also added a bit of the Tim Holtz Film Strip to the front of the card using my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, added some black bling to the middle of the spokes and of course had to place my Alpha Parts letters from Tim Holtz to the bottom of the cards. Happy Birthday Card with Prima

Do you ever feel like you never have the right birthday card? Well I got my hands on this fabulous stamp set from Hero Arts called "Wish Big" and it is just to fun. I think the sentiments are just so cute that I had to make my birthday card using one of the two that is on the stamp set. I stamped and embossed the "the word is out it's your Birthday!"  onto one of the die cuts that was in the Prima "Madeline" paper pack that I used for my card. The butterflies are on one of the sheets of paper so I just fussy cut out a couple of them and added them to the front of my card along with a bit of Crystal Stickles. I love sentiments and am always looking for fun ones so feel free to let us know if you have any favorites. Hugs Pammejo

Technique Tuesday "Heat Embossing" , Hints and Techniques -Enjoy the Jouney Card

Do you love to emboss? Do you have trouble getting your embossing powder to look right? Do you sometimes miss getting the whole imaged stamped. Well today I am going to share with you some basic steps in embossing.
To Emboss:
1. Use a Static Bag and wipe over the paper where you plan to emboss.
2. Use VersaMark and stamp your image.
3. Cover your stamped image with embossing powder, turn over and knock off excess embossing powder into a tidy tray.
4. Heat embossing powder until it is melted using your embossing gun.
Hint 1: Don't swing your embossing gun, hold it steady and once it starts melting your embossing powder slowly move it across the image.
Hint 2: You may want to heat from the underneath side this will help from you burning your embossing powder if you have a problem with that.
Hint 3. If you miss stamping a complete image, go ahead and emboss once your image is embossed you are able to fix by using an embossing pen and lightly draw in the images that you miss, do the embossing powder again and re heat. You will be able to correct your stamped image this way. 
If you notice on my card I had to do Hint 3 on the "O" and "U" of Journey but if you are careful you are able to save your project.
Now to tell you a bit about my card: I used the Tim Holtz Visual Artistry "The Journey" Stamp for my compass and for the sentiment. I distress the Basic Grey "Oliver" paper before I placed it on my card base. Added some burlap to the left side of the card before I placed my compass on to the card. Added a few black gemstones to the center and to the paper on the card. My "Thinking of You" stamp is from the Messages Stamp Set of Hero Arts. Happy Days with Simple Stories

Happy Days!!!! Still having a fabulous time in Alaska but it will be soon be over with and will be heading back to Memphis!!! We have had a fabulous time, full of lots of "Happy Days" enjoying each others company and the time we have with some dear friends. There has been lots of "Great Outdoor" Adventures which I will be sharing with you over the coming weeks. But... for now I am going to share with a A2 card I made using Simple Stories 100 Days of  Summer along with Bo Bunny Dotted Swiss that I used as a mat for my card. I distressed all of my pieces with my Tim Holtz Distress Tool and layered my pieces to my card base. I added a some fun staples from my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher.

My Happy Days was distress, wrapped with Mandarin Twine from The Twinery and added to the front of the card with some pop dots. I hope you are having "Happy Days" and enjoying your summer. Hugs Pammejo

Kaisercraft Believe Card

I made a Happy Birthday card for you to enjoy today since I "Believe" we all love our birthdays, though as I get older they are coming a bit faster. LOL  I made my card using the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline Dilly Dally paper pads. I don't know about you but I love using paper pads as much as I do my Tim Holtz distress tool which I did with both on my card.

Here is a closer look at how I used the distress tool to distress all of the paper pieces prior to placing them on to my card. I also inked all of the edges with the ColorBox Chestnut Roan ink. I stamped the Kaisercraft Vintage Believe stamp on a couple pieces of the paper so I could fussy cut them out to give my image some dimension along with adding a Tim Holtz Clock Face and Game Spinner to the image. The butterfly brad is a GCD Studios Brad from the Melody Ross collections. I hope when you stamp you look at the papers and seeingsome creative ways to use them. Technique Tuesday - Honeycomb Flowers

OH MY!!!!  I found the most fun stamp in the world. It is called "Fabulous Flowers". SO.... today that is what I am going to be sharing with you for Technique Tuesday. So run and gather your supplies or bookmark my blog so you will be able to refer back because once you see how easy and beautiful these flowers are to make I am sure you will be wanting to make them yourself. So here we go....

 You will need the "Fabulous Flowers" Inky Antics Stamp,Inky Antics Honeycomb paper,  2" Glubers or extra large glue dot.

 I stamped my images on white paper to make a template and fussy cut them out - this will keep the black ink from transferring onto my honeycomb paper. Make sure you either draw with a pencil lightly or stamp on the ridge of the honeycomb.

 

Stretch the honeycomb pieces out as far as they will go, being careful not to tear them, have your Gluber ready to place the honeycomb on. 

 

Start placing your honeycomb around the edge of the Gluber until the edges are covered, if you have to much just tear it off, make sure it is round though :) Do the smaller honeycomb next. 

 Add a fun button or other embellishment and walla la you have a beautiful and super easy flower made. Isn't it a wonderful way to use up all of your scrap honeycomb.

Here is a second flower that is on the stamp set; all I can say is GORGEOUS!!! I also added a sentiment using a SRM Thank You Sentiments. I sure hope you try your had at these flowers. Enjoy!!! Pammejo
