Happy Fathers Day with Emerald Creek

Fathers Day is right around the corner and Emerald Creek Supplies Design Team is full of fabulous projects celebrating our Dads.
So join us in our "Dearest Daddio" Challenge!!!
All you have to do is make something and link your project to the Emerald Creek Dare Challenge Blog!!!
I create a Fathers Day Tag for my guy by first die cutting a tag from chipboard and white paper.
Adhere them together and ink with distress inks with a blending tool.
Place Ray Stencil on top of prepared tag.
Spread crackle paste on stencil using a palette knife.
Sprinkle Emerald Creek Supplies Terra Cotta, Moss Stone Green and Dusk Embossing Powder randomly over paste.
Spread over wet crackle paste with palette knife.
Remove stencil and allow the embossed crackle paste to dry.
Distress edges of pattern paper, corrugated kraft paper and prepared tag with distress tool.
Layer them together.
Die cut sentiment and circle from pattern paper.
Ink edges.
Adhere to top of tag.
Die cut jalopy and book plate from chipboard.
Apply VersaMark on each piece, add Aurora Embossing Powder to the jalopy and Terra Cotta Embossing Powder to the book plate.
Adhere sentiment from pattern paper under prepared book plate.
Adhere prepared pieces to bottom of tag.
Fussy cut "Happy" from pattern paper. Adhere above circle sentiment.
 Tie ribbon to the top.
Add Emerald Creek Supplies Budde Charm to top.
I hope I have inspired you to create your dad, husband or even a tag for a gift.

  3. Great card Pam! Love how you added the tag to the front. Adding the embossing powder into the texture paste while it was still wet is a great idea that I would have never thought to do.
