SinCity Scraps - Art is Never Finished Altered Painters Tray

Happy, Happy Monday…what a fabulous day to share with you the Metal Madness Stamp Set from SinCity Scraps…it is just fabulous and you are able to get it in the SinCity Scraps Store. I used it today to make a fabulous painter tray that is available at many of your local scrapbook or craft stores.

So I gathered up some of the basic supplies to stamp my background metal image with….which included my stamp, 3 different colors of distress ink, white card stock and tape.

I taped the edges of the stamp so I wouldn’t pick up the edges on the border part of the stamp since I only wanted the center part of the stamp because I needed to stamp it multiple times.

Here is how the background stamp will look like once all of the ink is applied to the card stock.

I used an ocean blue color for my tag and squares but continued using the 3 distress inks as I did on my  white card stock background. I stamped the sentiment “Art is never finished, only abandoned” on the bottom of my card piece and then using a distress tool distressed the edges of my base piece. I place the background piece after I had it decorated with my tag, twine,  on to pop dots before placing it in my tray. I colored the clock image with my Copic Markers, added a clock face to the bottom and placed in on my tag with pop dots.

For the three small squares I continued using the 3 distress inks and stamped the metal background image onto my ocean blue colored card stock, distressed the edges and placed them on a piece of black card stock that fit each space with pop dots. Notice on the middle square I added a stamped hinge and “Abondoned” sentiment, it is also on the same set of Metal Madness Stamp set
