Birthday Cards using Simple Stories Happy

I love paper pads, they are so easy to use because most have some fun die cuts, borders, letters, etc. I made a couple of fun birthday cards from Simple Stories Happy paper pad. I did the first one of making a square card that measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, I love to layer, distressing and inking, both cards have a bit of each.
Here is a closer look at the layering that I achieved and you know me if you are a regular visitor to my blog I absolutely love to fussy cut, so my fun balloons and "Happy Birthday" sentiment is done with my Cutter Bee Scissors. The hint to fussy cutting is making sure to turn your paper into the scissors and not the other way around. I added some brown twine to the balloons and some baubles from the Epiphany to my card.
For my second card I made a standard A2 card, which is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I distressed, inked and layer my papers to the front of my card. Add a fun strip onto of the seam of the card pieces.
My fun little flag banners is from Hero Arts and VersaFine ink, I also placed my sentiment that I had fussy cut out on pop dots. I love pop dots they always give great dimension to each project. I hope you try your creativity using some of the fabulous paper pads that are available. Hugs Pammejo
