All Things Altered Summer Blog Hop and Giveaway!!!!

Welcome to the All Things Altered Summer Blog Hop. Here is where you will see a group of talented designers take something fun and alter it into something spectacular. I hope you are inspired to look around your home, garage selling, flea markets, antique, etc to see what you can come up with to alter this summer.
Here is a list of our designers that will be sharing with you today:
For my project I took 3 pieces of 12x12 cardboard that I found laying around the house, if you can't find cardboard try a cereal boxes or just a plan old cardboard box. I cut the card board box in half to measure 6x12, punched holes equal down the right side of the cardboard.

If you are a regular to my blog you know that I like working mainly with one paper source. Today I am using the Simple Stories 100 Days of Summer. Isn't so appropriate for the theme of our hop? I covered the front of my book, added some letters that I cut out using the Lifestyle Crafts Chocolate Alphabet and my Big Shot. I also love metals so placed the "Summer" into a Tim Holtz frame. I always add fussy cut pieces to my projects since the favorite things I love to do. Make sue to punch your holes out before you go to the next pages of your book
Here are the next few pages of my book. I placed several elements on pop dots along with adding staples from my Tiny Attacher and pop dots.
On these pages I included some We R Memory Keepers Fabric Buttons that I added red twine to along with some mini clothes pins from Maya Road to hold up the swimsuits that I had fussy cut out. If you have never tried tearing paper it is a wonderful look the hint to doing it is to tear the pieces toward you. I inked everything in my book with Colorbox Chestnut Roan Ink.
Always remember hidden books are a fun way to add a few more pictures to or some added journaling. That is what I did with small book on the right page that the clothes hanger is holding together.
My Little Yellow Bicycle Spinner was a bit to bright for the look I was going after  so I used Gathered Twigs Distress Inks and just inked it up a bit. Love the look how it turned out. Remember to get those favorite border punches out like I did to make my border with. My punch is from EK Success.
Again I added a few more of the clothes hangers but this time for just the embellishment. Have you tried all of the tape that is out there on your projects yet? If not all I can say it is a must. I used the Queen & Co Trendy Red and White Tape on my projects, Who does love the Little Yellow Bicycle 10 Things Pockets? I distessed this one and had to added it to my page and I can't wait to get the pictures in my book and do the the 10 Things I Love About Summer.
Now on to receive the giveaway from playing along with us today. It is Easy Peasie - complete the hope and let me know and you will be entered into the drawing. You will receive the products that pictured along https://scrapalicioususa.com/with a 10 Dollar Gift Certificate from Scrapalicious USA:  and two stamps from Shelley Bean Stamps: http://shelleybeanstamps.blogspot.com/
