Collect Memories Wrapped Journal with Eileen Hull Inspiration Team

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of the Eileen Hull Inspiration  Design Team. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more here.

We are so excited over Eileen newest Book Club 2 Collection from Sizzix! The Inspiration Team will be sharing our enthusiasm all month long with fabulous projects using the new dies that will be coming to a store this month!!!

I created a Collect Memories Wrapped Journal using the new Wrapped Journal Die. Begin by die cutting a piece of chipboard with the die and applying mist using Golden Colorbox Blends from Clearsnap. (Put a couple drops of ink from the cylinder into a small spray bottle, add water to create mist.)

Repeat on inside; make sure that mist dries between coats to keep the sprays from becoming muddy.

Stamp background stamps with Ebony and Bay Colorbox Blends and White paint; dry.

Ink edges with Nutmeg Colorbox Blend.

Front of 3 signature pages using Authentique Meadow Collection.

The backs of two of them.

Inside of first signature page adding mats, stickers and creating flowers from Flower and Leaves Journaling Die.

Front of companion composition book.

Ink flowers with Colorbox Golden Blend and stamp with background stamp. Form Flower.

Back of composition book.

Inside of second signature page using the  Credit Card Sleeve and Tags  and Heart Journaling Cards that have been inked and stamped.

Insert label from the Bookplate, Hinges and Label Die to Credit Card Pocket. (NOTE: Book Club 1 dies are interactive with the Book Club 2 Dies.)

Back of composition book using some of the inked heart on the doily.

Third signature page decorated with stickers, mats and gemstones.

Front of companion compassion book.

Back of companion composition book.

Add die cut words from the Journaling Words Die; ink with Colorbox Blends. Add to front of each signature page. (NOTE: You can add the words to smaller space by giving them an arch instead of adhering in a straight line.)

Die cut Flower and Leaves Journaling Die , ink with Colorbox Blends. Stamp with back ground stamp. Form flowers and enamel dots to center of each flower.

Add sticker to front of prepared Wrapped Journal with pop dots. (REMEMBER to leave space under the  sticker to place the elastic ribbon under.)

Add flowers a and bow to top of  Wrapped Journal.

Add "Journey" to bottom of Wrapped Journal.

Add metal heart to top of bind.

Add inked elastic ribbon around Wrapped Journal; tie in knot. Slide under sticker on front.

Add small metal heart to front of Wrapped Journal.

The elastic inked ribbon will just slide off and easy top put back on when you are done writing in your composition books or adding photos to you Collect Memories Journal! Make sure to head over to Eileen Blog HERE to see this weeks inspiration using the new Book Club 2 Dies! Pam

  1. What a wonderful journal Pam! I love your style, and you've created a gorgeous piece with the brown/neutral background and pinks and white, and blue. The flowers on the front are a delightful element, and the inside is so much fun with those cute images! Thanks for sharing your wonderful project with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge! hugs, Maura

  2. Oh wow!! This is one fabulous journal! Love the colors combos you used, and the ribbons, lace, and beautiful flowers on the cover!
I'd love for you to link this up to Cropstop where it's always "Anything Goes" as long as you use a product or two from one of the companies they carry in the store. (You did!)
