Fall Mixed Media Card with Tutorial

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of Sin City Stamps manufacturing my stamps. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more HERE!

I love Fall...it is the best season of all!!!
Cool weather, beautiful fall colors, crisp air, leaves blowing around, etc.
Today I thought I would share my Fall Mixed Media Card using MayArts SKM-5-04 Variegated 1.25 Ribbon, SinCity Stamps and Ranger Distress Oxide Inks.

I began by first creating my back ground paper.
Apply distress oxide inks to craft sheet; mist the ink with water
Dab white card stock randomly on to it wet ink.
 Drying between application of ink.
Repeat until you get the look of the background hues you like. Dry.
Stamp the background image using Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink.

Apply Peacock Feathers to inside of textured impressions folder; mist.
Carefully lay prepared background paper to inside; emboss.
Remove and allow to dry.

Adhere prepare background to card stock.

Tie into pretty bow.

Apply a base color of the Distress Oxide Inks to white card stock; dry.
Dab contrasting inks to top using the misting method. Dry.

Stamp leaves, dragonflies and "Fall" sentiment to prepared card stock.

Mat "Fall" sentiment to card stock.
Add to front of card with pop dots.
Fussy cut leaves; add to front of card.

Fussy cut dragonflies; adhere together at body.
Add to front of card.

Stamp sentiment and dragonflies to inside of card.
Hugs Pam
