Let the Journey Begin Teacher Notebook and Tutorial with Authentique

Hi Authentique fans! Pam here sharing a fun and easy Teacher's Notebook using a manila file folder and Authentique Pastime Collection Kit. What teacher wouldn't want a fun place to keep notes during the school year...but if you don't have kids heading back to school this would still be a lovely gift idea for someone that needs to take notes, for your office, etc.

Begin by first cutting a manila file folder to measure 8 3/4" x 11 1/4"; save the left over pieces to form an inside pocket.

Cover the inside covers with Authentique Pastime pattern paper; ink edges...

Make a pocket from the left over manila file folder; adhere pattern paper to top of pocket. Insert a piece of the line paper from the collection.

Decorate with stickers from the Pastime collection.

Glue 3 small notebooks to the inside of prepared folder.

Make planner clips from Authentique Passport Sticker Sheet using stickers and paper clips.
Add to notebook pages.

Cover outside of notebook with pattern paper and border trim; ink edges and corner punch.

Corner punch pattern paper to fit the front of the notebook. Ink edges; add to top with pop dots. Fussy cut second image from pattern paper; ink edges and place on top with pop dots.

Die cut flower using die and pattern paper. Mist all the pieces with water and wad them up; allow to dry.

Carefully open them up to form flowers. Secure with brads.

Adhere prepared flowers to top of notebook cover.

Along with some chipboard filigrees.

And a twine bow.

Everyday should be a "new adventure" and I hope you are adventurous enough to grab some of your favorite Authentique Collections to create a few notebooks. Thanks for stopping by Pam
