You Are One of A Kind...Smile Mixed Media Canvas with Xyron and Pink & Main Blog Hop!

Disclaimer Notice: I’ve received products/compensation as part of the Xyron Design Team. This project however, is 100% my own project! Some of the links in this post are affiliate links. I explain more HERE!

Hi to all my Xyron Fans...

Are you ready to hop along with us as we share some fabulous Xyron products but all some amazing stamp, paper and dies from Pink & Main.
Today I created a "You Are One of A Kind... Smile Mixed Media Canvas" using Pink & Main Be Brave Paper Pad and Grandma's Lace Stamp Set.

Begin by painting the canvas, feathers and word with a mix of White and Raw Sienna paint; dry.

Stamp lace doilies from the Grandma's Lace Stamp Set. to prepared canvas with ink.

Spatter with Black and White paints. Dry.

Take a sheet of pattern paper from the Pink & Main Be Brave Paper Pad; distress edges with Raw Sienna Paint.

Run prepared pattern paper, feathers and smile sentiment through the Xyron Creative Station using the Xyron Creative Station Permanent Adhesive.

Stamp lace doilies from Grandma's Lace Stamp Set. to pattern paper from the Pink & Main Be Brave Paper Pad using VersaMark and Ivory Embossing Powder.

Run prepared paper through the Xyron Creative Station; adhere to top of canvas.
Fussy cut embossed lace doilies out....

Run through the Xyron Creative Station using the Permanent Adhesive. Add to front of prepared canvas.

Add prepared Smile Sentiment that has the adhesive on it to front of prepared canvas.

Leave feathers on the Xyron Adhesive sheets; apply Metallic Lustre to top of each feather.

Remove feathers from the Xyron Adhesive sheets; add to front of prepared canvas.

Rub a bit of the Metallic Lustre on top of  Smile sentiment.
Stamp "You Are One Of A Kind" sentiment to top of canvas with ink.

I hope you are inspired to grab your favorite Xyron products along with some of Pink & Main products and maybe some of your mixed media stash to create yourself a fun and fabulous canvas.

  1. I've never tried to run chipboard through
the xyron. Would have been afraid
something as big as those feathers would
have been broken. Glad to know that
won't happen. Your project is fantastic.
    Love all of the doilies.
thanks for sharing a wonderful design.
