Christmas Stocking Gift Card Holders - Workshop Wednesday

Today on the SNR Workshop Wednesday I shared how to make a stocking gift card holder.
The first thing you will have to do is either draw your own stocking out, find one online, in a coloring book or maybe on your digital die cutting machine. Copy and cut the pieces out. Trace onto card stock, I used red card stock since it went well with my papers. Cut the pieces out.
On the back glue your pocket into place making sure not to glue the top closed.
Turn over add your pattern paper pieces, I sewed along the toe, heel and outside borders of my stocking as well as the cuff part of the stocking with my sewing machine.
Decorate your cuff before you adhere it to the top. I used Doodlebug Designs North Pole papers, die cuts, and twines for my stocking. When you place the cuff on top of the stocking make sure to allow just a bit of the gift card to show.
I added a couple of quilt squares to the bottom of my stocking, adding some twine and buttons. I hope you look around for holiday patterns that you might be able to make some fun gift card holders out of. Hugs Pammejo
