Altered Painter Tray

Have you seen these Painters Trays around, they are everywhere....your local scrapbook stores, favorite craft stores, heck you might even find them at the Good will or at a yard sale. The best thing is if you can't find one - just use a window or a picture frame and make yourself something fabulous like I did. I used a Halloween Collection from Fancy Pants with mine.
I will give you a bit of a close up of each pane, this one I added an die cut, place a witch hat on pop dots after I tie a bow around it and added a Tim Holtz metal to the front.
This pane has s great spider that I picked up from my local Michaels, added a Tim Holtz pen nib, ric rac border sticker from Little Yellow Bicycle and a vial that I placed in side of a metal frame.
Love the clips that you can find today, so I used mine to hold my Maya Road tickets and months to.
Notice the fun acrylic ghost in the corner. I inked the edges with White Stazon so it would be noticed a bit better along with some rub ons to the bottom, adding a fun Halloween spider from Tim Holtz.
I used a die cut from the collection, cut it in half and placed it on glue dots at the bottom of last two openings with pop dots. My little witches hats are cut from a sheet of paper and placed on pop dots. I added some black twine so it would look like they were hanging from it. Don't forget to notice the little dolly in the corner of the tray, it is also from Tim Holtz.
Here is another acrylic piece only this one is a ghost and I hung it on the handle of the tray along with the some great ribbon.
My vial is full of Glossy Accent that I added some red ink refills to, so it would like blood. Gross huh.
I hope I have inspired you to go and get a tray, find a frame or pick up a window at your local thrift shop and try making yourself a fun tray for your holiday decorating. Hugs Pammejo
