Boo To You Layout with Doodlebug Designs Haunted Manor

What fun paper Doodlebug Haunted Manor Collection has. I knew right away that I would have to use it with the photo of two of my grand kids from last years Halloween photos. I love lots of layers, textures and embellishments on my layouts, don't you
I stitched with the Doodlebug Tangerine Twine and my Sew Easy Tool from We R Memory Keepers, along with tying bows in my Spooky Town Buttons. I placed my Trick or Treat sticker and a few of the stars on pop dots.
I added a bit of black bling to the owl sticker that I placed on pop dots. The fun flower ribbon is from Maya Road and I stained it with a bit of the Shabby Shutters Distress stains to get it to the color that I needed to go with my layout.
With my scraps I made a fun card. I did corner punch on my orange card base and black mat using EK Success Deco Corner Chopper and the Scalloped Punch to form the border for my card which I layered on black card stock. I added the Halloween and "happy" sticker from the Doodlebug Haunted Manon sticker sheet to the front of my card. Again I tied a bit of the Tangerine Twine to my button and to my little ghost tag that I placed on with pop dots.
Remember to decorate the inside of your card, it will always give it a more finished look and yet it another way to use your scraps. Remember if you get to large of a card collection going Operation Write Home is a wonderful place to send them so don't be scared to make a few cards from your scraps. I hope you try a bit of layering, more embellishments, and textures on your layouts and cards. Hugs Pammejo.
