Vintage Heartfelt Designs Christmas in July Hop July 25th

Today is our Christmas in July Hop for the Vintage Heartfelt Design Blog. If you came from the very talented Sylvia's Bella Scrapbook Designs then you are on the right track for the hop. If you popped in to see what I am doing I would encourage you to join us at Vintage Heartfelt Designs in the Christmas in July Blog Hop. We were asked to make our projects using snow, I couldn't think of a better line to use by the We R Memory Keepers Merry January to do my project in. I just think that my snowman looks so vintage.

I added a small mustard sheer ribbon to the neck of the snowman along with some small white snowball gemstones to the front of the snowman tummy. My hat has some Crystal Stickles to give it some glitter and glimmer of snow. I also did some distressing, inked the edges with Chestnut Roan ink and placed it on pop dots.

Here is the inside of my card. I fussy cut my skates, inked the edges and placed it on a pop dot, I also added a little twine bow to the top of the skates.

I hope you enjoyed the hop since I am the last one on the hop and remember if you need to start at the beginning go to Vintage Heartfelt Designs Blog and begin there. I am sure you will find blog candy, tutorials and wonder vintage projects along the way.

  5. wonderful card, that snowman is great

  6. I love your card ... especially the skates inside hanging from the twine. I had to chuckle with the message "Warm wishes" -- warm, just what a snowman DOESN'T want, LOL. Here it is hot summer -- 102 yesterday -- far, far away from snow. Thank you for the reminder that it's right around the corner!
