Christmas in July Hop - July 23rd and 24th

Nicolette from Beyond Scrapin is having a Christmas in July Blog hop. It is so hard to believe that it is time to start thinking about Christmas. If you stopped by my blog to see what I was up to I am so glad you did but if you came from Tammy's OBX Stamping and Crafting than you are hopping in the right direction. I hope though if you haven't started the hop that you go back to Beyond Scrapin and join in on the fun. I am sure you will see lots of wonderful projects, tutorials and enter to win some blog candy along the way.
We give our adult kids and in law kids money every year for Christmas, so I am always looking for a fun money holder. I drew this one out and hope you love the whimsical look as much as I do. I used Imaginisce Cottage Christmas Collection for my Stocking Money Holder.
I added some of the Cottage Christmas Holiday Wishes Chipboard Sticker. I put the "Santa" on the toe and used pop dots under the "Reindeer". I added a few red gemstones to the news and holly.

My stocking has a back to it and a small pocket in the inside that holds the money. I made some charms using clear and red beads. I added a Merry Christmas Chipboard Die to hang off the side, along with a bow made with green twine and added Snow Flowers Merry Flowers.
I hope you enjoyed my Christmas Stocking Money Card holder and would love if you have any ideas to share with me and everyone else that comes by my blog today, also if you would like a copy of the pattern please email me for the details at pammejo1@yahoo.com. I only have 10 to make, good thing I am starting early. Now on to It's Me Susan P Blog with the very talented Susan.

  10. Adorable! This is so much cuter than just sticking money inside a card. Thanks for the inspiration.
