MY MARDI GRAS MASKI made this swell looking mask for my Mardi Gras Celebration. I bought the mask at our local Hobby Lobby, it was already gold in color and I thought it would work perfectly for Mardi Gras. I took my green and purple glitter paper, cut and glued it on to the top of the mask, added some gold and purple gemstones. At the top of the mask I did some accordian folded paper from the "Ginger" paper by Cosmo Cricket and used two way tape to adhere it. I had some really sparkly purple ribbon and ric rack so I added that also to give it a finished look.
At Hobby Lobby they had some black feathers, of course you have to have feathers for Mardi Gras so I added them and made another of these fabulous accordian folded flowers using my Martha Stewart Scoreboard and Imaginisce I-top and brads. You can't have a celebration without a King Cake Remember if you get the piece with the baby you are the one making the cake and having the party next year
