It's My Birthday Blog Hop 3/12-3/15

This weekend we are celebrating Jennifer's 38th birthday and I am also doing the "I Love Lucy Blog Hop", so if you are looking for it go HERE. If you arrived here from Lisas' Bit By The Cricut Bug than you are going in the right direction but if you just popped in on my blog to check out the project of the day I would like to encourage to do the hop. You will have to start at Jennifer's Crafty Card Gallery Blog to begin. I know there is a huge celebration going on with lots of projects, tutorials and of course birthday candy.
Happy 38th Birthday Jennifer, I made this card to share for the blog hop! It is a A7 card made from Bo Bunny Birthday papers, stickers, rub-ons, brads, some random ribbons and a Red Zig Pen. Don't you just love Bo Bunny birthday papers, I know I do, love the bright fun colors.
I started by placing a piece of white card stock to the front of my red card and taking a ruler went around the outside edges with a Red Zig Pen. I then applied the "Celebrate" rub on to the lower right corner, added a stripe square make sure to corner round the right side of the square and a strip of birthday paper to the front of your card stock and with your Glue Pro Glider place it to the front of your card. Take a piece of black gingham ribbon and wrap it where it is on the seam line of the birthday strip.
Take the "Arrow" sticker place it on top of the card front and the "Let's Party" sticker put some pop dots under it and place it on your card. Add some of the black gingham ribbon and red ribbon to the front of the card. I also placed 2 of the birthday brads to the right side of the square. Hope you enjoy my birthday card and the fun hop that is going on.
I would love for you to become a follower of my blog and leave a comment, I love reading comments and would love for you to share with everyone one of your favorite birthday memories.
Your next stop on the hop is Lezlyes' Ink and Paper Creations.
Have fun and enjoy the hop.

  1. One of my many favorite B'Day moments was when my hubby threw a 50th b'day party for me at an upscale restaurant for me and 8 of my best friends.

TYFS. I am a follower and a fellow blog hopper today to celebrate Jennifer's birthday. I hope you'll hop on by!

  3. Lovely Card. The papers and ribbon are great TFS.
The birthday i remember most is the year that my son had gotten a job and actually used his own money to buy me a card and a gift. What the card and gift were I can't even remember it's not important, but the fact that at 16 he used his own meager funds and thought of me is.

  23. Okay I just love the name Bo Bunny, xD. I love how it is so colorful and screams excitement without being overdone.
My favorite memory was actually from two years ago, it was actually the last time I saw my older brother when he came and brought me a cake for my birthday. We hadn't really been close and seeing him go out of his way for me was a great feeling.

  42. My favorite birthday event was last year when my daughter got a cake decorated with three pictures of me over the years. That and most of my family came to my party as well as close friends. It was a wonderful day.

  43. I'm really enjoying your blog, just be came a follower. This card is wonderful, looks like a party going on.
My favorite birthday/Mother's day memory was when my son was four and decided to make me breakfast in bed. He set a small fire in the kitchen as he prepared my bacon, Eggs and hash browns. He put the fire out went out and pick a flower and carried the nearly raw bacon, over cooked eggs and somewhere in between hash browns up stairs and woke me up at a little before 5 AM. You bet I ate it, well most of it. He is 43 now and still tries to top that breakfast but he never will.

  44. Beautiful card! One of my favorite birthday memories is when my sister gave me a "surprise party" for my 13th birthday (I think). She blindfolded me and made me walk to the swimming pool where our friends were waiting. She had made a cake and everything. It was very sweet :)
