Welcome Baby Card with Tutorial - Creative Scrapbooker Magazine

Hello everyone! Pam Bray here today on the Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Blog today celebrating babies and how to create your own borders using your favorite flower stamp. I am using Blank Page Muse Scribble and Scratch Stamp Set along with Authentique Swaddle Girl Collection to show you how easy it is to create your own borders.

Begin by adhering pattern paper to the inside of a 5" x 6 1/2" card base.

Cover the outside of the card with a strip of pattern paper.

Stamp a border of your favorite flowers to watercolor paper using Ranger Archival Ink. Repeat by stamping a few random small flowers to watercolor paper.

To color all the flowers  Place a bit of  Festive Berries Distress Marker ink on a craft sheet. Use your water pen and pick up the ink from the craft sheet and color the images in; dry. Repeat step until you get the hue on the flowers you like. Add a small line here and there on the prepared flowers to intensify the colors; again blending with the water pen. Dry.

Fussy cut border and adhere to front of card.

Fussy cut around bottom of border flowers.

Fussy cut smaller prepared flowers. Add to card front with pop dots. Your border is complete. Add gemstones.

Add small flag to top of card with border strips and gemstones.

Finish card with matted Epherema Card from Authentique Swaddle Collection. I hope you try your had at creating fun and easy borders. Enjoy! Pam

New Baby Gift Tag with Xyron

Hello Xyron Fans!

Mother's Day is this weekend!

Every baby needs a mom...

SO...

Why not celebrate babies with gifts and gift tag, bags, cards, etc for mom using Xyron! 

Begin by placing a tag into Xyron Creative Station Lite using Xyron Permanent Adhesive.

Adhere pattern paper to adhesive side of tag. 

Place border and strip through Xyron Tape Runner with Permanent Adhesive.

Adhere to bottom of front of tag.

Place prepared tag through the Xyron Creative Station Lite using Xyron Permanent Adhesive.

Adhere pattern paper to back of tag, trim.

Die cut elements from pattern paper through Xyron Creative Station Lite using Xyron Permanent Adhesive.

Remove elements from adhesive sheet; add to tag front. 

Run ribbon though Xyron 1.5 Sticker Maker.

Add adhesive ribbon and flags and prepared flowers to tag front. 

Add die cut element to front of tag with pop dots. 

Finish with ribbon and flowers.

Upcycle Baby Frame with Southern Ridge Trading Company

Hi Southern Ridge Trading Company Fans! Pam here today sharing an Upcycle Baby Frame! I love upcycling; so it is that time of the year for garage sales, estate sales, etc. It is also the perfect month  to upcycle those special finds using  Southern Ridge Trading Company chipboard pieces to create fabulous baby and Mother's Day Projects. 

Begin by either taking a part the mats that are inside the frame or replacing them with new mats. 

Cover the mats with pattern paper. 

Adhere the mats together. 

Add Epherema card or a photo behind created mats. Place the prepared mats back in to frame. 

Fussy cut images from the Epherema Cards; layer together with pop dots. Add gemstones to center  of flowers. 

Add two banners and small element to inside of frame. 

Emboss Abstract Heart Frames and two of the butterflies from the Butterfly Mix using Magical Mysteries embossing powder. Adhere prepared Heart Frame and butterflies from the Butterfly Mix to top of mat inside of frame.
